I don't see anyone over the rank of Warrant Officer 4 using Firebird. That renders my Dragon useless in pretty much every game I play. 18% railgun is almost always preferable because so many more people use railguns.

This idea is terrible, because it would so damn easy to exploit if implemented.

I really enjoy the map Massacre, where you spawn near the enemy flag and run the other way. A Reverse CTF game mode would simply be the same map with the flag locations swapped. Tell me what you think.
-
English please?
-
Have you ever played Noise? It's imbalanced the other way. Reason being, Blue only has one spawn area: inside the area near their flag. Red has multiple spawn points, rather far away from their flag. It's easy to block you from running out of the blue base with the flag, while the red base is much more open.

Sometimes this stalls the game long enough for a win in a timed game against opponents that are drugging and clearly outrank you.

Shaft Is New Weapon For WO5 But that's wrong, you ******. Very few details about shaft have been released. We know it won't come out until next year, and it involves some kind of charging mechanism. We have no idea about the cost or rank required.

This does 40 DPS at M0. Are. you. ******ed. Not even Freeze M3 does that much damage. -
I crunched some numbers to figure out the relative strengths of the paints based on the frequency of the weapons that they protect against. This is based on my observations of high ranked games that usually consist of Lieutenants and up. Still, one shouldn't think about buying paints until body+weapon are decently upgraded, so this may still hold true for lower ranks. My weighting system is as follows. 30% to Railgun which is dangerous because it has OHKO potential, and because it is seen so often. 25% to Thunder for much of the same reasons as Railgun. 15% to Isida which are the dangerous flag attackers that are notoriously hard to kill when drugged. 12% to Ricochet which is still used quite a bit and very dangerous at M2-M3. 10% to Freeze which is still potent despite its nerf. Many top players use M2-M3 on light bodies. 8% to Twins which are still used by some and have heavy knockback. 0% to Smokey/Firebird which are never used at my level. Therefore: Best 500 paint- Swamp Best 1000 paint- Safari Best 3000 paint- Tundra Best 5000 paint- Corrosion Best 7000 paint- Taiga Best 8000 paint- Electra (Taiga is a better option than digital) Best 10000 paint- Prodigi Best 12k paint (mid to long range fighters)- Spark Best 12k paint (short range fighters)- Rustle Best paint that you can't buy- Champion Best paint overall- Prodigi/Champion It's also worth noting that Prodigi has the highest value in comparison to any other paint. Only Tundra is more cost effective than Prodigi in terms of protection. None of the 12k paints are quite worth it compared to Prodigi, and the two other 10k paints are terrible in terms of value. Corrosion and Taiga are excellent paints, while the 8k paints aren't that good anymore. Then again, there's no denying that Electra looks awesome. Still, I would go with Taiga or Corrosion or save for a better paint instead of buying Electra. Champion is ranked barely behind Prodigi but is a better paint all-around. Happy tanking!

Freeze is still strong on island, just not as overpowering as before.
-
Speaking of which, when do our freeze refunds come?
-
Even at M2, the enemy barely gets frozen. Barely better than firebird now, not worth 7250 crystals. Like MadDog said, prices should probably be adjusted.
-
Now it's just a flamethrower with a barely a freezing effect and a bigger tank. I'm probably not going to buy it again when we get our crystals back.
-
Yeah, it's real. And you don't hear them, you see them. Derp.
