How much better- or worse- would the game be if there were no supplies.
batatazilla replied to CommanderTFR2346 in Archive
Well, sometimes there is only 2 people in the enemy team without it also 25% is just as bad as 50% when the enemy is spamming rk so there is not much choice. I disagree. If you made a mm without drugs naturally it would be played by people who want to rely on their skill and team work to overcome the enemy instead of simply pressing 1-3 and rushing B. Even if someone who is not used to work in a team would try this mm, the absence of an easy way out would force this players to work with their team and develop their aiming and dodging skills instead of using drugs. Given the average size of the maps and the fact that there are multiple drones that extend drug duration i dont think that is a problem. I have seen many players making questionable plays and getting away with it simply because they can get their life back with a click and negate your dpm. About the skill part ...erm... well if you are saying that it is more challenging to defeat someone who is druging without drugs yourself I can agree to a certain point but when you need either 20 shots or infinite to kill someone while they can just 1-2 shoot you back things start to get ridiculous. Now about the performance of a drugger vs his "skill" well :D lets just agree to disagree I guess. -

Lately i cant find pro battles without drugs. They are either full drugs or drops. #feelsbadman "I think it would make overdrives extremely OP. For example, Dictator's supply overdrive is pretty basic now since everyone uses supplies anyway, but without supplies, a tank that deals double damage, has double armor and moves faster would be insanely powerful." --> Is hunter OD a joke to you? "Without overdrives AND supplies the game would just be boring, especially in modes like RGB and CTF. If you have two skilled teams who can do actual coordinated teamwork, like in some PRO battle, the game would still be fun. But in Matchmaking games where it's basically every man for himself and teamwork is very limited, capturing a flag without supplies would be practically impossible. Most games would end with a score of 0-0." --> In your opinion, because in mine spending 5mins shooting at someone that is constantly spamming repair jack on top of double armor and 50% protection is frustrating as hell. I wonder why... Oh yes, is because you dont need a team when you can just drugtard forward with your brain.exe turned off. Also pro battles are random people most of the time an still team work was common. In fact i dont recall that draw score happening very often from when i played pro back in 2015. "As a feature, supplies are actually a cool gameplay mechanic that adds a new layer of skill requirement to the game, such as managing cooldowns and figuring out the best timing. If it weren't for them being purchasable consumables, they would only make the game better. So if it were up to me, I'd definitely make supplies free and unlimited, as opposed to removing them completely." --> Lolololololol In your wildest dreams boy :P Much skill required there omg I dream of the day when i will be able to roll my head in the number pad... Have you ever played games that are power up based and actually require you to learn a rotation (10+ different power ups) and were there is intricate relations between them? Tanki´s drugs are nowhere near the skill level required to do well in those. Tanki X ? I personally got bored after 15mins of spamming dd and killing everyone. Like, why dont you just go play minecraft in creative mode then? -
2013-2015. Before when you were able to play exclusively pro with drugs off, when tanks and turrets still had their individuality, no drones or magnum, protection modules were 20% - 30% and very rarely 50% the game was much more enjoyable. Now its just a laggy mess full of drugtards who cant even turn their turrets and drug repair jack literally every time you shoot at them on top of the 75% combined protection against you together with the broken alterations, flying drug dispensers/enhancers and the freaking overdrives... Its a mess man, I'm much happier playing WOT now. That game actually has a learning curve and requires skill unlike the p2w power up based junk right here. They wasted such a great game...

Comanders !!!! As you know tanki was bought by wargaming.net and we have some reeeeeealy awesome updates! : 1. Premium tanks have been added to the game 2. Ammo now has cost 2.1 New prem ammo that does more dmg 3. Magnum received satellite view and was renamed artillery 4. Two new boss tanks were added to juggernaut mode: KV-2 and TOG-II* 5. Soviet bias has been introduced  6. 25% RNG FOR EVERYONE !!!! UHHAAAHAHAHAHAH coff coff coff I think it would be pretty much that :P Lol but serious now, I play two games that have been bought by other companies and nothing really changed. They would probably just leave devs doing their thing and collect the profit at the end of the month.

Instead of some vague text in the description why don't you show us some actual numbers. That way we can know exactly how the alteration affects the gun.

It should be available from recruit ! New players must also be shown the drugless battles, so they can chose between the crappy power up based gameplay or the skill based one. They now require wo1 to buy pro pass because, according to them, it made the game to confusing for a starting player. However with that update, they also brought the repair jack drug to recruit... They just want to make sure that new players only know the drugtard way of playing tanki. It's a shame really.

I just saw the overview on the new drugs... I mean drones and I can just say
-
Maybe I will try one off this days. My understanding is that it relies way less on rngesus when shooting. Its just that super realism is not really my thing.

What you are describing is basically an old school pro battle. Shame that the devs screwed them to sell those ******ed drugs. That's why I play wot now, no stupid drugies there to cover your total lack of skill. Wot is not a perfect game, it has problems such as sky cancer and some bs spotting mechanics but that's nothing compared with the overdose in tanki.

Just out of curiosity, what do you think is playing badly? I have my own opinion, and so do other people. Thus it would not be a fair process. Furthermore not everyone is here to play competitive and some people are here just to enjoy the game. Having stats like DL already puts pressure on players ,reduces their enjoyment and adds frustration. This would further add to the problem. If you and others want to play competitive, just create or join a clan to that effect.

Higher the rank - Lower the average skill - More boring battles - Why?
batatazilla replied to SplashGun in Archive
Skill level overhaul is going down hard. I had created an alt in order to plays relatively drug free in the low ranks but the drug plague as since spread even there. Notice that they brought repair jack down to recruit rank (facepalm) while sneakily increasing the rank needed to play drug free pro battles... Devs seem determined to extinguish any remaining skill requirement and replace it with non stop drugs + repair jack + OD + drugs + drones + everything at the same time + the new drug box duhhhh its just sad and also quite disgusting. And there is more to come, with the brand new tank abilities from which the drug emp from hunter is probably going to be removed or heavily nerfed as it would traumatise drugies to much :D -
Ohhhh maxi big the skillz...
-
True, having that thing in skill based battles is a bad taste joke.
-
I don't think the problem is in the rail itself. The problem are drugs and protection modules. Its not unusual to my almost m4 + alt rail to do ~300 dmg if I shoot a drugger with 50% rail block (aka 90% of players if MM is feeling particularly nasty that day). Plus they drug repair jack and OD making things even worst. My suggestion to you is to leave such battle or change weapon.

I hope not. Many people dislike TO graphics I however like tanki´s simple and clean graphics / interface much more than those Michael Bays´transformers like graphics from TX. I cant understand why people like those silly cartoonish graphics so much and unfortunately its a plague affecting most modern games. Those tanks resemble a jellyfish with tank parts glued to it and the interface is a mess. Also their progression system and power up (drugs) based pvp is trash.

Many people like the concept of high dmg, high speed and low HP. Its funny to play since you have to rely on evading/sneaky tactics instead of tanking dmg. The high dmg / low reload is often associated with that because you can output a lot of dmg with minimum exposure. Also the contrast of placing a giant cannon on the roof of an ae86 is mlg stuff XD This concept is not particular to tanki, for example in tf2 you have scout with the same characteristics. As for it being easy to kill, well if you use it for direct combat, like it was a titan/twins or something, its obvious that its not going to work. But otherwise it can be a great combo when the situation allows you to avoid direct combat and when you dont need a viking stability and HP. However they screwed most of wasp/hornet fun with that update were they "normalised" tank stats across heavy-medium-light hulls.

category Ideas for Supplies and Drones!
batatazilla replied to Ilia.ArchangeI in Ideas and Suggestions
From what I see druggers doing I really have no idea what you are referring to. They just bash rk and OD continuously while going basically in a straight line. Besides I see most of them (Legends) OD when they are alone just to get one more kill or evade death. I see no strategy/planing in it.- 2,754 replies

Exactly!!! How many battles have I seen that dont have garage drugs but then they have dropouts...wth why?? I wish there was a filter to find clean battles more easily. I just do missions/normal battles to farm lots of cristals. Pro battles now pay really low, so low that even paying the pass itself is hard if you dont have time.
-
I adapted, by buying a pro pass. Have been enjoying clean battles since :D Except for the cancerous time it takes to do missions <_<
-
The mission update obviously. The pushing problem had already been fixed by removing funds/XP in private battles, the rest was just a dirty plan to force players into drug battles.
-
Druggers will get a nasty surprise... > :)
-
Yeeehhhhh more drugs!!!!! just what we needed !!!! yyaauuuhhh (read sarcasm plz). I will be honest, I didnt test battles yet but something tells me that the dumbdrug level is going to be higher than ever before. That makes the freaking 5k cristals from pro-pass look much smaller considering what it is getting you rid from. So I guess I will just play pro until I run out of cristals (since I dont have time to play enough to get them back without missions)... Tx allot tanki, for turning a game that was based on driving and aiming skills into some crappy power up based junk like bigpoint games and other failed companies that went p2w.
-
Opinion? Drugs are getting ridiculous, most players don't even turn their turrets now but steel they can 2 shoot you while you could sit there all day shooting at them that they wouldn't die. Skill level and strategy are going down like a rock on Jupiter. Many of us need free no-drug option asap and I personally would gladly give up on missions/events for that.
-
"To enter PRO-battles you will still need Premium subscription or PRO-Battle Pass, the cost of which will not change." Missions became impossible, drugs going mad, pro pass still costs 5K cristals. gg tanki gg
-
Well maybe idk. As it has been said a player using drugs to make up for m1 vs m3s is a very rare occasion. What happens most of the time is m3s using drugs to become super op (invincible in fact). So in general drugs create much more imbalance than they fix.
