Having no control over what map you are entering, is not acceptable. And frankly, its an amateurish move on Tanki's part to even be trying to implement this.

Let's not overthink what Maf said.
-
That old person you are describing is dying, he is not losing customers. You are actually making my point for me.
-
See, now you are starting to get it. Like Maf said, the game is not dying, that's a hate train. Its just amazingly old and the players are leaving.
-
In one scenario, the game is dying. In the other scenario, the game is of the age that it is old and losing all its players. You could also look at it like a business that is dying, versus a business that is losing all its customers. The difference is pretty profound when you look at it like that.
-
He said its not dying, its old and the player base is evaporating. Totally different.

Not according to the patch notes on page 1 of this thread. "When activated, the Repair Kit will immediately restore 1000 HP for your tank, as well as reduce any burning and freezing effects. "

Once more people start to realize how to utilize overdrive to its maximum, we will start seeing wolfpacks of isidas with a few other types mixed in.

Since everyone had the option to use it, how is listing the details of the RK somehow prove it was imbalanced from one player to another?

See, this is the mentality 'druggers' face in this game. Let me explain something, we are not taking advantage of some loop hole, or gaining some unfair advantage, we've been using a game feature Tanki implemented. So to imply we all just want some advantage (your 'are you sure you would like that' comment) is a disservice to people have actually, you know, spent money which supports this game. Id think you would have a more friendly attitude towards their side of this discussion. Im a drugger, Use em a lot. Im not rich, and my online game budget is modest, yet Ive still managed to have absolutely no trouble shelling out the 13 bucks (watch for sales) every so often. It works out to being cheaper than paying a monthly subscription to some other game (unless you just go nuts). So if you think its this miracle I-win button, shell out the 13 bucks and be this god you think it makes you for the next several weeks. Again as I suggested earlier, they could have tweaked the pricing on supply kits until more people use them. Im a drugger, if I just wanted some advantage over most people, would I be suggesting an idea that makes it more prolific?

The people complaining RK was overpowered regarding firebird were the people using firebird (and freeze and isida) that were unwilling to spend a few bucks or crystals on their own RK's. When using my shaft turret, I have firebirds sneak up behind me regularly, and yes using a RK when I was almost dead was a solid tactic. It usually worked... unless the firebird guy used one too... then I was usually screwed. The perfect situation, imho, would have been to experiment with lowering supply kit prices until a more healthy amount of the game's population used them. Charge less per widget, thereby end up selling many more of them. Its a classic business strategy, and one that coincidentally would seem to ease the problem of a haves vs have-nots mentality by many players.

An unfair advantage would be one that some people do not have access to. You being unwilling to drop 20 bucks on the game every once in a while does not qualify. As a non buyer what you seem to fail to realize is, buyers DO actually look at the bang for the buck they get out of the money they spend. Again as a non buyer and I assume a non 'drugger', you clearly have no idea what advantage those people do or do not still have. Im sure you think your imagination of how it is seems real to you, but its clearly not. Popping one of the double damage or double armors you payed for doesn't gain you much chance of survival against someone with double damage, double armor, speed boost and a recent heal to full health. Overdrive is ridiculously overpowered, and tossing money at it in the form of purchased supplies is throwing money down a rat hole. Ive tried, as have several friends... its expensive and has minimal results. Sure the millionaires who play this game will be fine, but the casual spender is most certainly hurt by this update. Words of experience from a casual buyer... not guesses from a freeloader. The change to the health kits helps 2 groups of people only.... short range players (freeze/fire/isida) and the stock holders of the parent company of Tanki. Ive played other online games that changed rules to make the game 'more exciting' but in reality it was simply a cash grab in the hopes people will simply pay double for the experience. This has that feel, very much. Its my opinion that the devs will realize this is a mistake, sooner or later.

"As for drugs being used mpre often, drugs will waste quicker, making buyers get drug kits more often." You just answered your own question. Supplies have been devalued. That helps non-buyers. If you think all buyers will think like you, and just suck it up and buy way more supply kits, then we simply disagree. But even if you were correct, it costing the buyers more money inherently and obviously helps freeloaders. As for working as a team to win, even as a 'drugger' I was not single handedly winning any battle (DM doesnt count here). But I did have more control over my own fate than I do when a game feature is implemented in which I now have to rely on my teammates to share their boost with me or else Im a sitting duck most of the battle. Overdrive, in my experience, tends to make battles more lopsided, not less.

Full buffs regularly, for free, and you dont see how that favors people who refuse to spend a dime on this game? Interesting. Even the devs admitted it was the reasoning behind adding OD, to help the non-spenders. Maybe you should actually read the dev notes.

Clearly the devs brought overdrive into the game permanently in hopes everyone will bum rush the other side constantly, with their god mode on, there by creating more chaos, more deaths, and they hope more supply buying to try and counter god mode. Think again. In fact, I payed money for a product advertised as lasting 40 seconds. You guys really think you will basically steal 25% of the money I already paid you for existing supplies, and then I will still come back to the well to buy even more later at this deflated value? Think again. This is what is frustrating. Non buyers like you, who clearly have no clue what 'buying' in this game is even like, lecturing us about buying in the game. Uhm, you can buy a supply kit with 1500 of each supply for $13-20 (depending on the sale). Its an extremely reasonable expense, that 13 bucks worth of supplies last most people for weeks. But its whiners like you, with no clue, that get people whipped into a frenzy about 'druggers' because they 'spend thousands of dollars' and make being a 'drugger' seem unattainable. Its only unattainable for freeloaders who think they should get to play this game, and be just as competitive as buyers, totally for free. Im just shocked the devs listened to you freeloaders on this issue.
