    Let's Discuss Firebird!

Compact fuel tanks is just, where do I even begin? You spray someone for 2 seconds and let the afterburn do the rest. Any module under 40% reduction is basically useless. I know every gun is powerful in their own right, but Firebird seriously seems to be a class above all other turrets.
  2. Yep, and it will always be OP because of the nature of the gun. Being able to shoot in a parabolic nature from the safety of your base will always be OP, no matter what Tanki does. But then again, they have no actual interest in balancing the game.
  3. Magnum and Firebird now sit at the top in terms of power. Magnum is still broken because it's a parabolic weapon in a game designed for non-parabolic weapons, and Firebird can now kill you just purely using the burn effect. Don't make the mistake of thinking the Tanki devs care about "balancing" the game. What they do is make 1 or 2 turrets op for a month or so, then users flock to the store to buy kits, crystals, and modules, thus making them a boatload of money.

    Let's Discuss Firebird!

Precisely, make one turret overpowered for a month or so, lower ranks will flock to the store to buy modules, kits, or crystals for modules and kits. The Tanki circle of life, don't worry about the player base and actual gameplay, money above everything else.

    Let's Discuss Firebird!

What pisses me off about this update is that before if you thoroughly outplayed a Firebird you could exit the fight with a good bit of health left, after the burn effect took place. Now, you can do anything right, but if you get burned for even 3-4 seconds you're done. Firebird has always been unbalanced because it allowed the user to still be rewarded for not necessarily outplaying their opponent, this new update has made this even worse. You can completely outplay a Firebird, and still die because of this ridiculous burn effect. It's so ludicrous that i'm now seeing M4 Firebirds spray someone for 1-2 seconds then leave because they know the burn effect will do the rest. The Developers are slowly but surely eliminating every single skill gap this game has to offer. First it was allowing a parabolic weapon (Magnum) to completely destroy gameplay and ruin numerous maps, and now it's making Firebird so overpowered that you can suck at the game and still get a good number of kills.

    Let's Discuss Thunder!

Even though it's insanely powerful, I would advise lower ranks against upgrading Thunder as your main weapon unless you thoroughly enjoy it. At higher ranks 60-80% of the people you encounter will have high protection against Thunder. Which is why I consider it the least effective turret in the end game.

    Let's Discuss Firebird!

Strongest turret in the game right now, as it was before the buff. Can't believe the devs somehow found a way to make it even stronger. Now you have m2 firebirds with no micro upgrades destroying m3.5 vikings with modules. Any short range map is a firebird fest and you have no chance even with modules. Thanks Tanki for ruining gameplay like always.

    Let's Discuss Magnum!

Freeze gets nerfed, Firebird gets nerfed (or buffed depending on how you look at it), and yet Magnum remains the same gameplay killer that it always has been. When are the devs going to do something about this weapon?

    Let's Discuss Thunder!

That's not the case right now, once you reach higher level 90% of the players you encounter will have a Thunder module with atleast 30% protection. Trying to face them 1 on 1 is suicide, you're better off playing a support role or camping.

    Let's Discuss Magnum!

Funny how the only people who think there's nothing wrong with this turret are Magnum users themselves.

    Let's Discuss Magnum!

Just played a noise game with a guy named Laughter, after numerous failed attempts to grab and capture our flag he switched over to M4 Titan/M4 Magnum, because if he can't win then you won't have fun either. Everyone's KD dropped and as soon as you dropped to their base he would blast you, taking 80-90% of your health, before the isidas and firebirds finished you off. He also had a crew of isidas who made it damn near impossible for you to even damage him, as they would constantly heal him. This was a fun game, and it was immediately ruined just by the presence of one Magnum. Magnum has completely ruined the gameplay of this game and the Devs couldn't care less. One aspect i've noticed about Magnum is how much it stagnates the gameplay, it's like watching a football game from the 1960's, ugly and slow. Low K/D for both teams and large periods of time where no flag is captured.

    Let's Discuss Magnum!

Either this needs to happen or a significant increase to the reload time needs to happen. Being able to almost one shot a Viking M3 with a reload time of like 5-7 seconds is just ridiculous.

    Let's Discuss Magnum!

I don't even play games with a Magnum user in it anymore, I just instantly leave because I know how the game will play out. If there's a standoff with both teams having the others' flag, the Magnum will just come over and mortar the area where you're sitting. This happens over and over until either someone finally kills the Magnum, or he's wiped out your entire team and can now return the flag safely. Another fun part is when you've taken the flag and are trying to return to your base, then a Magnum kills you from across the map, this happens on Sandbox a lot. I don't want Magnum removed, I just want an option where we can disable it from being equipped while creating a battle, similar to the XP Battle setup. This would have the same effect as removing it though, because every game would have it disabled, because players hate this turret.

    Let's Discuss Magnum!

What the Devs don't understand is that yes, while all turrets have their special effects and such, they're not equivalent to each other. A Thunder having splash damage is not equivalent to a Magnum being able to shoot in a ****ing parabolic nature across the entire map. I'm sorry but what jackass created this gun and thought "this seems balanced"?

    Let's Discuss Magnum!

If the Tanki developers want to get an accurate representation of the community's thoughts on Magnum, they should make an option that allows us to choose what turrets we play with, similar to the current XP Battle setup. There would be zero games with Magnum enabled, unless it was created by a Magnum user themself. The community ****ing hates this turret and it's Tanki's greed that caused them to implement this turret and leave it unchecked for so long. Every Noise, Silence, or Wave game I play with a Magnum I always see people complaining about this Turret. It has damn near ruined Tanki gameplay and a game is instantly less enjoyable whenever a Magnum joins. Of course, none of this matters to the Devs because new Turrets mean more money, they don't care about how they effect the gameplay. It's so ridiculous you can join a game and accurately predict what users have Magnum equipped because their K/D will be insane.
