It's still the same system as before, when MU your hull/turret (without speed-ups) it will cost you the same as buying the next modification, for example Wasp: MU MK6 to MK7 (without speed boost) will cost you 130,000 crystals Buying the MK7 modification will cost you 130,000 Crystals Answered.

At least if your faction lose and you earn the least number of stars required (400 - 799 Stars) you will get 5 weekly containers that contain 15 Tankoins (the tankoins you paid) but the point of the war is to earn more stars to earn more prizes.
