It seems as if the purpose of the new system is to eradicate small battles. It the process of doing so, all ability to choose specific battles (and to get real time updates on missions) was lost. The wait with the new system was annoying. I waited on average for over a minute to join a battle. Several times I waited for over a minute before I saw the loading screen but I never entered a battle -- the loading screen just disappeared and I was back where I started. The bigger problem was that I usually ended up in battles I didn't like. With the old system, I could check out what my battle options where. With the new system, no such luck. With the old system, I could scan the servers for battles on my favorite maps. I can't do that with the new system. (I have several accounts and I need to play standard battles to get enough mission credit to all my accounts.) The end result: I spent more than half my time tonight waiting and the other half playing battles I didn't really enjoy. Smaller changes have in the past cased me to give up on a game. Please don't try to fix the new system. Just remove it!
