Rico (with M1 alteration) is an effective turret because can creep into those tight corners where the camper is sitting on his butt all day, complacent and drinking his beer. The other anti-camper turret is Magnum. Why? Because there is cover against direct horizontal shots (save for certain Rico shots and Thunder's splash damage), but absolutely no cover against an incoming vertical shot.
