(JUST TO REMIND YOU- if you had the lowest kill count and you killed the Juggernaut, you would become the Juggernaut, ALSO, if the player that killed the Juggernaut didn't have the lowest kill count, they would get a different bonus, such as the Juggernaut's overdrive and 5 kills.) Thank you for your response, @kaisdf. I really appreciate you reading my idea and the thought you put into it. Yes, that's a good point- no one would try to kill anyone! ...or so it seems! Would that necessarily be the case? I think the reality is paradoxical. Think about it: the Juggernaut would more often than not be a low-skilled player that would be easy, and thus very tempting to kill (for the 5 kill bonus+overdrive of destroying the Juggernaut or getting to play as the Juggernaut). What's more, if everyone were being attacked by the Juggernaut, they would start defending themselves and retaliating. In the event that everyone defended themselves and tried to hide from the Juggernaut, who was hunting them all down, they would eventually realize that that tactic wasn't working and begin attacking the Juggernaut with a sense of camaraderie; this sense of camaraderie would add an extra dimension of fun. I feel pretty sure that players would easily get tempted to attack the Juggernaut (but not necessarily each other) for those 5 kills+overdrive or getting to play as the Juggernaut. If they didn't attack one another and just focused concertedly on the Juggernaut, that would lead to the Juggernaut's destruction quicker and subsequently increase the turnaround of new Juggernaut players and give more players the desired chance to play as the Juggernaut. Win-Win situation if you ask me. Furthermore, after the first player killed the Juggernaut, they would start attacking everyone else because they would know that they would play as the Juggernaut in the next respawn- this would make players start defending themselves. By the same token, after the first Juggernaut player was killed he/she would then proceed to start destroying everyone else, which in turn would make many players start defending themselves and fighting back and all hell would break loose as it's supposed to. There's nothing more frustrating than seeing the same player play as the Juggernaut more than once- this proposed change would put an end to that. If only this idea could be tried out for a few days, I'm sure more players would play Juggernaut mode as it would be more accessible to every level of player. I'd like to propose a major change in the nomination system of who becomes the Juggernaut in Juggernaut mode. I, as with many other players, don't play Juggernaut mode at all because it is so hard to destroy the Juggernaut and the game becomes very frustrating very quickly- I'm sure that this was not the intention that the developers had when they designed and released the mode. Juggernaut would be much more fun if the player with the least kills became the Juggernaut, and not the player that killed the Juggernaut. That way, every player would enjoy the mode: the players with the most kills would be happy with their scores, and the players with the least kills would also be happy as they got a chance to play as the Juggernaut. The one exception would be that if you had the lowest kill count and you killed the Juggernaut, you would become the Juggernaut- this would encourage all players to participate in trying to kill the Juggernaut and not just mult for the whole battle until they were nominated as the Juggernaut. If the player that killed the Juggernaut didn't have the lowest kill count, they would get a different bonus, such as the Juggernaut's overdrive and 5 kills. The result of this change is that more players would focus solely on killing the Juggernaut rather than other players so as to have a low kill count in order that they might be nominated to play as the Juggernaut, others would simply continue playing as they always have. Another effect of the changes would be that a skilled Juggernaut-tank player would not play twice as the Juggernaut, as he/she would score highly while playing as the Juggernaut the first time and after that not qualify to play a second time- this would be a great relief for all the other players. The way it currently stands, some players are getting proficient at killing the Juggernaut and expert at dominating battles and not getting destroyed once they are the Juggernaut, with few other players being able to destroy it and play as the Juggernaut. It can be a really frustrating experience and totally put players off from playing Juggernaut mode at all. Most players play Juggernaut mode specifically because they want a chance to play as the Juggernaut and not even getting one chance over the course of several battles is very disappointing. The mode has become elitist in a way, favouring those who have practised most and have the most suitable equipment and excluding newcomers and those who don't have suitable equipment. Is this what Juggernaut was supposed to be? Supreme-commander @Tranquil Clan [TRAN] Tranquility http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=372723

Original posting: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=372723&page=8 DRONES Choosing the right drone for yourself is a difficult choice: only 1 will benefit you most, and costing precious batteries to run, 1 million crystals and half a year to Micro-Upgrade to maximum, you better make the right choice or you'll end up wasting a small fortune. Sure, you can buy more than one, but if you're like me, and want to keep things simple and minimal, you'll invest in just one and continually micro-upgrade it until it's maxed-out. You should think long and hard about the purpose for which you want to use your drone. Owning a drone does not mean that you have to have it equipped all the time until its batteries run out; you can use it selectively, switching it on and off as and when needed. There are many considerations to take into account when choosing your drone. You should choose the drone that will help you best achieve your goal in the game, whether that be supporting your teammates, getting a high score, or just having fun. Perhaps you want a drone to help you finish those pesky Deathmatch or score Rugby goal missions quicker, so you can resume playing Capture The Flag, or maybe you want a drone with which you can support your team with supplies or as a backup sniper, or maybe you're fed up of being helplessly spawn-raped and want a decisive solution for your next spawn, maybe you want to be able to repel the enemy from your flag as you stand guard or want something to assist you in capping the enemy's, or maybe you just want to have some plain good old-fashioned fun. Study the characteristics of each drone and decide which one will optimally facilitate the achievement of your goal. As a Wasp-Isida player, I went for the 'Saboteur' drone to best safeguard my escape from the enemy base in the crucial opening action of Matchmaking CTF battles. I also intend to use it in MM CTF battles in which I've equipped my Twins-mammy because my side's base is getting overrun and needs a powerful and quick response to clear the enemy. Kits are great! So much equipment for so few crystals- at my rank kits are no longer available so make the most of them. Making the most of them means you plan ahead for your Legend days when you start rolling with the big dogs and buy at massive discounts, while you still can, all the equipment that you'll need for Legendhood. Wanna know what you'll need? I'll tell you the secret to scoring big in ANY MatchMaking battle: AN M3 LIGHT, MEDIUM, AND HEAVY HULL. (2000, 3000 AND 4000 hp at M4) + AN M3 CLOSE, MEDIUM AND LONG RANGE TURRET You'll need a fast close range tank (eg. wasp/isida) for storming the enemy base flag in winning battles, and a slow medium range tank(mammy/twins) for losing defensive battles. You'll need a long range turret (eg. rail/mag/shaft) for massive maps like Highways or Brest and a medium hull for all things in between. The key to success in Tanki Online is VERSATILITY. With only one M4 combo you will not be versatile and if the enemy is, they will win not because they are more skillful, but because they have more equipment to chose from. The key is to be able to adapt to any situation on the battlefield so that, even if your team loses, you still finish the battle with a good score and give the enemy a run for their money ;) MY CLAN PAGE: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?&showtopic=372723&page=7&attempt=1

Just thought I'd let all you Road-to-Legenders know that it's a total waste of crystals buying Speed-Ups and that you should only buy SUs under one circumstance: when there's a Micro-Upgrade sale and you can't take advantage of the sale because your equipment is still upgrading from a previous MU purchase. It is much cheaper to MU without sales than buying SUs and MUs during a sale. For example: It takes 3 months and half a million crystals without any sale discounts to take an M3 to M4. If you buy MUs during sales you'll only pay 3/400,000. Even during the best sale of the year, New Year's, when it's 50% MU and 70% SU, you'll still pay half a million. THEREFORE, NEVER BUY SPEED-UPs - JUST BE PATIENT AND MICRO-UPGRADE ONE STEP AT A TIME. (IF YOU USE THIS STRATEGY, YOU'LL FIND THAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO MU MULTIPLE PIECES OF EQUIPMENT AT THE SAME TIME) MY CLAN PAGE: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?&showtopic=372723&page=7&attempt=1

Personalized Keyboard Controls

This is how I roll This way, I: 1. never hit the wrong key 2. never accidentally perform an OS shortcut command 3. easily employ the game-changing health-pack and mine 4. don't need to look at the keyboard. What do you think? What's your keyboard combination? -

1. As many have already pointed out, we need to know the name of the map in Pro battles; that's just obvious. We don't have time to click through every map to find the one we like. I have every confidence that this will be rectified promptly. 2. As was suggested repeatedly by forward thinkers when MM was released, filtering options need to be created for PRO battles to make finding a PRO battle less time-consuming (and less CPU memory-consuming). Such filters could include: a. Show/hide format/non-format battles. b. Show/hide Parkour battles. c. Specify minimum/maximum number of players in a battle. d. Show/hide battles with supplies and whether Smart supplies activated/disabled. e. Show/hide battles with/without time limit. f. Show/hide small/medium/large maps. g. Show/hide Space battles. h. Show/hide battles with friendly fire activated/disabled (I'd love to play more friendly fire activated battles- sounds fun- harming your own team should deduct your own score) My favorite PRO battles are medium/large CTF maps with no time limit, flag limit, maximum number of players, Smart or no supplies. With such filtering options I would find suitable battles for myself and my clan in no time. As it currently stands, the only filter available is battle-mode, which is great, but more would only enhance the gaming experience. Supreme-Commander @Tranquil [TRAN] Tranquility

Thank you once again for your responses; they are instructive. Sometimes it starts up with Flash and just as it's loading up the main console/lobby it restarts as HTML5. I've been testing HTML5 for the past 2 days, as well as the 'fixit' version (https://fixit.tankionline.com) but nothing is helping; I am literally rebooting the game every (regular) battle! After I get the error message, I still get to finish my life normally, but when I respawn I'm static and invisible, apart from my Isida beam, of which I still have control- see the picture below and spot the oddity in the middle

Thank you for your responses. Sometimes my browser uses Flash and sometimes HTML, is it supposed to do that? Hasn't Flash been fazed out yet? My errors occur with both the client and the browser. I use the latest Firefox and Safari on both a 5-year-old laptop (Windows 7) and a new MacBook, so it makes no difference what soft or hard ware I use. It is my account that is bugged out, I would say, and not the devices I use.

:excl: Now this is just taking the biscuit :excl: I've been getting critical errors for 2 weeks now Since the freeze rebalance on 22.6.2018 When is something going to be done about this ???!!!??? Developers, come on, this is unacceptable. What's the point of introducing updates if we can't play the game? It's x10 gold box drop for ufo week and i'm being forced to restart the game every battle! Needless to say this is affecting my clan as i can't organize anything. I've tried clearing the cache, using both browser and client (+reinstalling it) - nothing works! I complained about this two pages ago (p.230) at: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=275523&page=230 And asked for a reply here or on my clan topic (http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=372723&page=4) I haven't heard anything from anyone. Lets get to the bottom of these critical errors, team! Humbly, Supreme-commander @Tranquil Clan [TRAN] "Tranquility"
