  1. Dude, that is so sad, only 228 left to klll. If I was of higher rank, I would have just let you kill me for 90 minutes...maybe you would have dropped a gold for me or something. Too bad you didn't just quit at 2501. 2500 is all I could manage, well 2514, and I really thought the contest was still on today too. I would have liked a larger margin for error than just 14, but I have a screen shot of my rating just after I bought the VK paint...so I hope I'm OK. Again, my sympathies, for what it is worth. At least you helped you team. The contest is over right?
  2. 2500 kills. OMG it took sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long. I am completely burnt out on Tanki now. I said it before, but how can anybody play long enough to get 7000 kills...respect. I almost stopped at 1500, but decided to push on to hit my original goal. The last couple of hundred were just torture. 7000...astounding.
  3. 1500 kills so far. 1000 more to go for my personal goal of 2500...damn this is really tough. I've been playing for HOURS! And, days really...is this the fourth day with three more to go? How can anyone play long enough to get 7000 kills? Even over seven days that is an awful lot of Tanki.
  4. Look, many people are saying OK can't win because there are so many VK paints out there. BUT, it is K/D that wins the day. Here is an exaggerated example: Let's say OK has 1 player only...right, one lone orange guy. He only plays one game in the entire week, but is pretty good and kills 20 tanks. He only loses 5 lives himself. His K/D is 4.0 VK has 10,000 players and they are noobs and pros. The pros get high K/D, but maybe the noobs don't do so well...and there are a lot of them to bring the average down. So altogether, they kill 200,000 but overall they get killed 160,000 times. Their collective K/D is 1.25 OK WINS with only ONE guy on the entire team and only one battle because he has the higher K/D.
  5. This is tough. 1000 kills so far,,,not even half way,
  6. Obviously, but what is it a percentage of?
  7. What do the percentages on the special website actually indicate? VK has about a 52% higher K/D? Vk has about 52% more kills? Some one have an iidea...a mod might be able to explain please?
  8. What do the percentages on the special website actually indicate? VK has about a 52% higher K/D? Vk has about 52% more kills?
  9. There are less participants than I would have expected...maybe they are all hanging back to see who is ahead. Many have said this is a junk event. To me it is just fine. It is based on K/D which pretty much means it will just be luck if your team wins...hey you have a 50% chance. All those blue noobs getting slaughtered hurt the chances of blue winning even thought there are more of them and they will have the most kills overall. BUT, the fact is you still can pretty much get free paint for minimal participation and if you go for a higher tier...like the 2500 kills over 7 days, you are golden...you still get that tiers rewards...and if you get lucky, maybe DOUBLE! If not double it is still a nice reward. I think this is much better than Tanki goofy weekend whatevers with harder missions.
  10. As I understand it, all kills will be tabulated whether it is against a social network enemy or not...it has to be like this or it would be impossible to track. In other words anyone you kill is counted in your own personal kills and your team kills. In the same way deaths would be counted...whether death by opposing team or some just some random killer in normal paint. So K/D would be affected by both painted and non-painted players...kills and deaths. BUT... My original question still stands...is it really K/D that the percent score shown on the special website is based? I sincerely doubt that it is. And I think it is a mistake in the promo release that says K/D. i would appreciate a forum Jefe (like nives) to check this just for clarification...not just re-read the release...it says K/D, but I think that it may be a typo, a mistake, a fluke, a glitch, wrong.
  11. Question: The special website is now showing blue ahead with a score of 52+ percent. Does that mean 52% higher K/D? I find that hard to believe if it does...rough calculation and a wicked bit of math algorithm. I think there may be a mistake. I bet it is total number of kills is what wins, not K/D. Just based on system mechanics, it seems sooooo much simpler to count kills than to tabulate and compare K/D. nives, or someone, could you please check on this...not just read the rules/promo release (I agree that they indicate K/D), but ask someone that would really know and give us a definitive answer
  12. yep...closed for maintance is what I get
  13. What clarification? It says: Fan paints will be unavailable for purchase after 02:00 UTC on November 19th, on the same day the first battles of the final stage will begin. The question is when will they be available?
  14. "The social network which scores the higher K/D (ratio of Kills/Deaths), will win" So as I read this, total kills aren't the deciding factor. Higher K/D is the actual determiner. In other words, Orange team may have 10,000 kills and Blue only 8,000, but Blue killed at 2.0 K/D, so Blue would win with the higher K/D...even though they have less kill altogether. Right?
  15. Seriously? READ! You need to make the 7000 kills yourself, gosh.
