    Not sure why but loading bar seems to be broken and so far been waiting 8 mins+ for a 10 mins battle to try to earn xp in DM for linked rewards. Sorry but this is a bit ridiculous. Is there a beta server you all test these things on?

    Excellent article , written in clear concise language even us noobs can understand together with some interesting solutions to hiccups that may have occurred. Tbh I was one who didn't understand what was occurring but I guess hindsight gives 20/20 vision because your article certainly clears up the posturing of the sides involved. Great job!

    I do like it Avenger as it fits my style as I can either act as a distraction or go in closer for mid range . Once you start bringing the gun up to speed - ppl take notice and the smart marks on the team can pick them off as they get into position to fire. Its odd though -I am not sure if its a Vulcan thing that goes back to cavemen being overawed by the wheel but why do other Vulcans always want to start a pisching contest with each other -inspite of the team situation? More than any other turret -they will find each other and do that chicken mating dance of pouring hot metal into each other.. :) I am not sure I am going to invest in that horizontal tracking for Vulcan as yet due to crystals- but even though I had it would not. Does it dramatically increase my kill ratio the answer would be No. Instead will focus on upgrading hull and protection as its cheaper and the benefits will redound to my other turrets

    As a Vulcan user - with viking/wasp hull I am having problems with turret movement (its slow ) and have picked up the bad habit of using the hull to aim . That has worked fairly well against weaker foe , however against most opponents my deficiency is my major flaw especially with Viking/ heavy hulls. The result is while they float like a butterfly and sting like a bee , I end up doing my best burning wreck impression.. To compensate I am doing the shoot, move at range which doesn't play to Vulcan's strength . Should I save to get the Faster horizontal tracking upgrade at 50 k ? I am hesitant as the vertical aiming is one of the guns best features and crystals continue to be premium.

    Not sure they are mate - they are self destructing while Wenger is having a whinge at referees - I guess he learnt something from Mou...Hopefully we get the top 6 at least .. It just looks like the team has gone backwards this year - sloppy defending (poor Cech still waiting on that clean sheet) and poor finishing while one of our players seem bent on pulling a Flamini.. No ..cant see anything wrong with that ..

    Hi , Played 4 tdm matches and noticed that in 3 of them (different maps/ players) there were 1 or 2 players whose tanks were moving erratically -not the usual evasion movement or the lag one where one minute the tank is there and then next it appears close by., The tanks moved jerkily as if having a fit. My fps etc were in the green and it only affected few individuals.
  13. Seems like a great event for the majority of players , not so much for newer players as 400 kills is a bit much unless you are prepared to spend a lot of time playing the game. The Holiday DM Maps are decent though it basically becomes a shoot/drug out contest as suggested by BadMonkey96 . Have fun Lads/Lasses :)

    Question : Viking or Hunter Hull Current load out : M1 Titan with Vulcan /Thunder turrets Current hull deficiency : Slow , poor power (struggles to climb steps) in addition to low ground clearance, poor maneuverability Current hull advantage : Great armor , easy to drive Battle range - mid range Style of play : variable depending on game situation though prone to mid -> short range attack bursts Short term plan : keep having fun/ save crystals for a kit with upgraded aforementioned turrets / hulls Medium Term plan : Keep using those turrets and their upgraded version Longterm plan : build an isida loadout to add flexibility in game play Accounts : only 1 as it increases the value (for me at least) for each decision I make and hence requires a bit more strategy. Battle cry : For God's Sake SHIFT!!!!!!!! :D
  16. Why not? It does look like a copy and paste job and while the intent is great the execution leaves a bit to be desired based from my perspective as a wet behind the ear player. Your response does tell me that maybe a lack of effort was put into this or maybe there were tight deadlines and will assume its the latter. I didn't watch much of the video as I was more concerned about the written article and my critique is based on that . Tbf the main issue I had was following the ingame newspaper link which told me I would find tactics to dominate Polygon -so my expectation was a bit too high I expect. Before I exit and enter my priest hole I would suggest the next article include at least or expand upon: -how to choose polygon maps to fight based on ranks involved - updated map areas for choke points/ los etc. - effective attack/defense methods based on light/medium and heavy hulls - how /when to get to the dropped supplies -since only a few players at my rank (1 square) use drugs .. The idea is to provide a guide not a fixed template based on player style and load out otherwise the quirks of seeing a mammoth with a firebird will be long gone. I will also take this opportunity to apologize for any offense caused as I am sure the writer of the OP worked hard to put it together and I hope he/she continue to do so and to answer the question some may have on their minds -no I cant do any better as I don't have the competence in the game but then you don't have to be a carpenter to recognize the house missing the roof..   17. Good article that follows on from some of the other articles. I followed the "dominate DM" link from the game and tbh I was expecting a bit more than the standard fare of supplies management , get a good view and choose your turret/hull wisely. The article is pretty relevant but based on the newspaper link is doesn't live up to the billing for example -wheres the bit about perching on the edge of the wall that I have seen many players do to great effect rather than sitting in line of sight with a large front making you an easy target. I am a noob in the game and have played the map on a few occasions and tbh I have found the greatest threat (I play heavy hull) is from those nimble elementals (fire/freeze/isida) and was hoping to at least get some tips on prolonging my battles with them as they circle in for the kill. I also beg to differ with the map expansions it has certainly changed the strategy as there are more spaces that benefit mobile rapid damage load outs from my limited observations. That said its a good base to work from but not the guide I was hoping for - my rating :mellow: :) :) :) :huh:

    Re: Unable to collect ingame drop supplies (repair etc) or hurt enemy tanks although can still take damage in TDM. This has happened twice playing on different maps on different days on re-spawn on one occasion and in another when I started a new map. I am able to pass through the drop supply (double armor/repair etc) without collecting them, still able to be healed by team mates but cant do any damage to the enemy even at point blank range. The terrain /buildings continue to maintain its integrity. After dying a few few times it goes back to normal. On none of the occasions was I switching between garage and battle or pausing the game.

    Great advice - I am playing with Dictator /Vulcan and its some great advice you offer. I use the rotation of the hulls to compensate for the low turret turns.
