If you saw my k/d, you also saw the amount of supplies I have used. All my criticisms are from the point of a free player. As for my k/d, I'm a very competitive person so I look up guides before I play anything. It also doesn't hurt using a long range turret like railgun.

Why I'm no longer going to play tanki online.

Hello. I am a fairly new player to this game and everything that I will post here is just my opinion. Why do people play games. For fun? Competition? To crush all of those in your way? All three of those are the correct answer. This game offers all of those things that I have mentioned above, but what is it missing? It is missing the ability to be able to thrive without paying out the wallet for a clear advantage in combat like most popular games currently offer. Now I know, "There are many people who are free players and successful..." but when you can only be successful by limiting yourself with things like, "Only play for missions" or "Just play non pro battles" Is the game fun to you? Supplies: Yes I know I should just play non pro battles but let me explain something first. When you play a game for competition, you will always analyze what you did wrong and how to improve so you don't make that mistake again right? I spawn and get one shot by a magnum or a shaft or a Rail gun. What did I do wrong? Oh you just were unlucky spawning there. OK. I sneak up on someone and shoot then like 6 times with thunder. Why didn't I kill them? They had double armor and I didn't use Double Damage. I shoot a wasp fire bird with smoky three times he uses repair kit after third shot catches up to me and kills me. Why did I lose? Not because of a skill difference, but because of supplies and if the only way to escape that is to play non pro battles, the game's original concept is flawed to begin with. Kits: Once again yes I know, "Free players can afford kits by saving crystals by only playing for missions and logging off." but the free players aren't the problem. There is absolutely no reason I should be facing things that unlock ranks before I'm supposed to be fighting it. Fighting twins m1 at sergeant ranks? Really? This isn't really that big of an issue for me though. Micro Upgrades: This. This right here is the cancer of tanki imho. It even triumphs supplies. The ability to increase the stats of your turret and hull sounds nice doesn't it? For a user who wasn't going to spend money not because I couldn't, but because I didn't want to; I could upgrade like once or twice before the prices started to drain my crystals away. But running into 10/10s are not as uncommon as people like to believe. It is very possible at warrant officer 1 to run into 10/10 thunder viking. Basically m2 at warrant officer 1. Once again I ask myself. Why did I lose? "Maybe I didn't knock off his aim as much." "Maybe its rock paper scissors and his turret beats mine." Nope he just micro upgraded his hull so he survived more than he should of. Nope he just dealt more damage than he was supposed to. In closing. A game that in concept promotes using a mass number of supplies or playing non pro battles which are extremely scarce is not a game that I enjoy playing. I know this seems like I'm crying and complaining which I kinda am but, I just wanted to share my opinion on why I feel as though this game is not enjoyable to play at the moment for a user who wishes to work for the equipment instead of just spending money to get it just to have a chance to play a fair battle instead of lose simply because you didn't repair kit in time or because you didn't micro upgrade enough. That's pretty much all from me. -
Hi all. I am a new player and I currently have 21k. Should I continue saving for a kit or buy one of the cheap m1s? I mostly play multiple control point games. Thank you in advance.
