Thanks for finally posting this topic. I almost lost all hope that it would ever be uploaded. I will try to work on the awkward phrases, and the conclusion, and I will put the actual images in there (if I can get it to work) ;) Thanks for the welcome to the AWS even though this is my second article in the Amateur Writing section :) Glad you enjoyed it! I will try to resolve the image problem, and thanks for your luck (it is greatly appreciated and needed)

Small Tweak to Hunter Overdrive: Hello, I just want to discuss something that is bothering me, that could use a tweak. As it currently is, Hunter's overdrive, when used on a Mammoth that is using its overdrive, freezes the Mammoth, but the Mammoth overdrive effect still stays. This is very annoying, as you still have to remain far away from the Mammoth, as otherwise you would be killed by its overdrive. What I am proposing is that instead of the Mammoth freezing, and still having its overdrive active, the Hunter's overdrive would instead cancel the Mammoth's overdrive (similarly to how a Wasp's bomb deactivates a Mammoth's overdrive, instead of doing no damage to the Mammoth user), and the Mammoth would remain mobile. This would be very beneficial in close quarters, as you won't have to focus as hard to not get killed by the lethal Mammoth overdrive. Anyways, I hope this minor change occurs, as Hunter is my favorite hull to use in battles, but the way it currently is, is severely annoying when I am taking a close range fight. Thanks! :)

What are the terms for getting a club spec? I have two clubs that are both interested in a club spec, but I am unsure of how to ask/get one :(

First person to get into the Polygon Secret Room :D Took me an hour and a half to get the trick accomplished, as angling your shots when you can't see your tank (because the ground is covering it up) makes it difficult

Hello! I am here to express my concerns with Parkour Competitions, and I am attempting to prove that Parkour Competitions (mainly Masters of Parkour contests) are not fair for most competitors. Let's review this year's Masters of Parkour contest, and I will point out all issues I have with it: Firstly, trick recording and submissions being disqualified. A problem that my team faced was that, since we did not have a spectator to record most of our tricks, we were unable to perform a few of the tricks we came up with ideas for. We came up with a good idea for a trick, in which we would fly over more than half of the "Polygon" map, but we were not able to implement this trick because we needed a support railgun in a specific place, and we would not have been able to show off this player's nickname, and would have thus been disqualified. I find it very unfair how my team was limited on our tricks due to the inability to have access to Spectator Mode. I think teams participating should have been given some sort of temporary Spectator Mode for their team to use, so that they could have submitted entries with better tricks. Secondly, let's analyze one of the solutions for some team's lack of Spectator Mode - The Rent-A-Spectator service. The Rent-A-Spectator service was a good concept, but because the spectator would only be available for an hour, and most good tricks require about 15 minutes worth of setup, some people could not get these good tricks recorded by a spectator, due to the one hour maximum session time that a spectator could be present. I think this service should have allowed people to at least have the chance to have a present spectator for several hours (At least 2 or more), so that they could complete these tricks and have them recorded by the spectator. Thirdly, I want to point out the failure to allow people to resubmit their entry, due to complications with their entry, resulting in disqualification. My team submitted our entry with at least 4 or so days left in the competition, which is more than enough time for the Event Helpers involved with this event to communicate to the teams that were disqualified in order to warn them about their disqualification, and allow them a chance to fix their entries, and resubmit them before the deadline. For all I know, I could have had a chance to win, or at least get a consolation prize, but because I was disqualified and not allowed to re-submit our entry, I lost this opportunity. Fourthly, I would like to show to the Event Helpers running this competition that the amount of winners and consolation prize winners within the International Community is severely less than the Russian version. I find this very shocking, firstly because the International Community competition had a higher potential for large amounts of entries, as it incorporated MANY large communities, such as those of the EN and DE communities, and secondly because there was a large discrepancy in the amount of entries that won the Masters of Parkour paint within the Russian community and that of the International Community. To put it in perspective, 30 teams within the Russian Community were awarded the Masters of Parkour paint, 12 teams being finalists, and the remaining 18 being consolation prize winners. Within the International Community, only 11 teams (Already less than the number of finalists in the Russian community) were awarded the Masters of Parkour paint, 8 teams being finalists, and the remaining 3 being consolation prize winners. That means a total of 164 players (averaging that all winning teams included four tankers) won the Masters of Parkour paint, but only 27% of those winners were a part of the International Community.I think the Event Helpers running this contest should have allowed more teams to win, and more teams be a part of the final stream, as it would have lead to a more dynamic and more entertaining final. Lastly, and most importantly, I would like to point out that ALL (100%) of the winners in the International Community were clubs that were either being given club support and a club spectator, or they are an official club. This seems VERY convincing, at least in my eyes, that the winner selections were severely biased. For example, some of the consolation winners' entries were better than some of the finalists, but they were awarded worse rewards because they only got the consolation prize. I hope everyone read through all the concerns and suspicions that I have about this year's Masters of Parkour contest, and I hope the Event Helpers change the structure of this tournament and are MUCH less biased in next year's Masters of Parkour contest. Thank you! :)

Gauss: To Buy, or Not to Buy? - Guide
Devoid replied to Devoid in Gauss: To Buy, or Not to Buy? - Guide Writers' Corner
It was June 7th, a few days after Tanki’s 10th Birthday. Unbeknownst to players, a turret was going to be released this very day. Players had only heard about this turret about a month or two before, and there was high anticipation for more details regarding this turret’s mechanics, and the release date of this turret. All of a sudden, a notification popped up on my phone. A YouTube notification, more specifically. “Oh, it’s from Tanki EN. I wonder what this is,” I thought to myself. I clicked on the video. It was a trailer for Gauss. I watched the video through and through, trying to figure out why they had released this trailer for this turret, and trying to find out more of the specific details about this turret. “Looks cool! I can’t wait to get my hands on it!” I thought to myself again. I went back to playing matchmaking battles, thinking that more news would come in the coming week. All of a sudden, I went to my garage to change turrets. That’s when I noticed something - GAUSS HAD BEEN RELEASED! I was so excited that I impulsively bought it with the crystals I was saving to fully micro-upgrade my Viking M3. Fast forward to the time of writing this article. The turret hasn’t been out for a full week yet, but I have already grown to adore this turret, so much so that I played a heavy amount over the weekend, enough to earn about 250,000 crystals, thanks to the triple battle funds. I used almost all these crystals to micro-upgrade this turret. Introduction Hello guys, I am here to discuss the arrival of this turret and present a short guide on the benefits of this turret, and try to persuade you to buy this turret for yourselves. Let’s not waste time. Firstly, I would like to discuss the strange arrival of this turret. In the past, Tanki only teased new equipment that would be coming to the game, and release more information closer to the exact time the equipment would be released into the game. This turret was slightly different. Yes, the Tanki developers only released a small amount of information about this turret before its arrival, but myself, along with will many others I suppose, did not expect this turret to be released so soon after its initial announcement. Kudos to you, Tanki developers! You did an AMAZING job of raising excitement, by releasing this turret so suddenly. Why it should be bought Let’s first introduce the main attributes of this turret. This turret has two separate firing modes - a quick shot mode, and a sniping mode (similar to Shaft and Striker). This turret has almost the same sniping mode as Striker, except that Gauss does not emit a laser showing enemies that they are being targeted, but rather this turret has two mechanical “ear-looking” pieces on either side, that raise when sniping. This turret is similar to Thunder in its splash damage, and amount of damage and the impact force is closely similar to that of Magnum. Now that we know the basics of this turret, let’s take a quick look at the cost for this turret at each of its modification levels: Statistics On the lower modification levels (M0-M2), the price for this turret is average among other turrets of the same modification level. Looking at the price for the M3 modification, however, Gauss is the second most expensive turret, only behind Freeze. At lower levels, this can be considered a wise investment, but if you are buying its M3 modification, and you are unsure about how you might like this turret or you played with a lower modification level, and didn’t enjoy using this turret, I would not suggest buying this turret at M3 (unless there is a sale, or you are open to trying something new). Let’s look at the damage statistics for this turret: The damage in sniping mode is significantly more than the damage in regular mode (more than double the damage), but after using a sniping mode shot, this turret has to take about three times as long to reload (useful if you are in long-range combat, and have an obstacle to hide behind, such as wall). The impact force on this turret is also quite high when compared to most other turrets: Something to note about the impact force of this turret is that most of the impact force comes from the explosion caused by a projectile of this turret hitting an obstacle. There is also minimal recoil, which makes it suitable for shooting repetitively (such as with a Viking overdrive). Another part about this turret that is slightly different from other turrets is its rotation speed: It has the second slowest rotation speed among turrets in this game, only faster than Vulcan. What helps this turret stand out as opposed to other turrets? This turret combines many of the active elements of several other turrets and only has a few negative parts about it. This turret isn’t necessarily the best if you are trying to get kills as it does enough damage to lower an enemy to low health, and a fellow teammate will likely snatch the kill before you can reload. This turret is an excellent edition for those who prefer long-range combat, as it has a destructive sniping mode, that can often not be noticeable by enemies. I don’t usually enjoy nor thrive at medium to long-range combat, but this turret has made me enjoy this range of fighting. Another piece of knowledge about this turret is that since it is new, very few people have protection against this turret, so it can be strong if you have a few upgrades on it. I would strongly suggest buying this turret if you love medium to long-range combat, and it can even be enjoyable and rewarding for those who don’t. Conclusion This turret has both characteristics that stand out from other turrets, as well as some mechanics that are familiar to players from one or a series of other turrets (such as Thunder and Striker). This turret provides a high amount of damage for the user, though this sometimes is not enough damage to kill hulls with higher protection levels (Dictator, Titan, Mammoth). This turret works in a team parkour setting, as the sniping mode impact force can be used advantageously, though the level of impact force in the quick shot mode is not ideal for parkour, especially One Man Parkour. I would only recommend using this turret in a team parkour setting, and one that you can take advantage of the impact force in sniping mode. When it comes to using this turret effectively in Matchmaking battles, I would suggest using this turret in a more open map (the splash damage isn't the best in close-quarters combat), that isn't ridiculously long in length (such as Massacre or Magistral). When using this turret, it is important to know that you will often not do enough damage per shot to kill someone, even when in sniping mode, especially against the toughest of hulls. To help try to fix this problem, you could possibly use this turret with Hornet, as the Hornet overdrive makes the turret do more damage, by not taking into effect the opposing tank's supplies and protections against this turret. This turret takes a bit of getting used to, but if you are good at using Striker effectively, you will have a head start towards learning to use this turret. All in all, this turret is definitely fun to use, though it often doesn't do enough damage to kill enemies. If you are a quick learner, and can efficiently learn how to use this turret to its full potential, you will realize that this turret is definitely unique, but also useful. It might take a bit of getting used to, but in the end it will sure be worth it. When I started using this turret, I was pretty bad at it (especially because I don't like Striker, and I am used to using turrets, like Firebird, for close-range combat), but after I have been using this turret for about a month, I now almost always get a high placement in Matchmaking battles when using this turret, and I have developed many different parkour tricks that effectively use the sniping mode impact force. Thank you for reading through this guide, and I hope you are motivated to buy this turret, just like I was! :) Edits since posting this topic sometime around June 10th: 1. Posted actual images, not just links to view pictures off of Imgur 2. Created an official conclusion to this piece (including a re-cap of my history with this turret since posting this article) 3. Minor visual changes to the font, alignment, etc. -
I troll my team in the same way...Except for the fact that I am not lying when I say I didn't record a trick...My recording software is trash

You are right, but it is corrupt...Some people might just say it is a coincidence that ALL the teams that won are official clubs, but doesn't seem much of a coincidence, now does it?
