matchmaking might be balanced in regards to short, medium, long range weapons, but matches are always one sided now. maybe if it was based off a different ranking system it could work. experience over time factoring in the number of drugs used. it heavily favors buyers/druggers. probably going to try buying a pro pass, but that kind of limits my battles. at all hours of play, i face teams that are many ranks ahead of me with much more powerful weapons/hulls or the entire team drugs constantly. i've seen some complaints about people quitting, but why would anyone stay for such one-sided battles. there are some matches where even if i start drugging like crazy, it's just not enough. there's nothing enjoyable about being the best player on a terrible team. just as bad being on the drugging team. it's not the least bit competitive. sometimes it puts you into battles that are almost finished. 5 minutes into an RGB match where it's 0-5 already. like, what's the point? whether i'm winning easily or losing badly, i just don't enjoy this new system.
