Stop Serving Turds I have played Tanki for about four years. In the past, there have been changes to Tanki that made me leave. One year later, I return to find that things had reverted back to a more pleasurable experience, and I have been playing again for about 5-6 months, and I now experience this TURD of an attempt to suck the money out of players. I have not spent any money this time around, because I wanted to see if spending would be a waste. Matchmaking is such a waste. If you want more player money, you first have to make Tanki an addictive game that does not deviate from the addictive experience. This great again, terrible again roller-coaster is not at all pleasurable. By alienating so many players for such a drastic experiment, it is exemplary as to why your traffic has been steadily decreasing, and the longer that you leave this devastating downgrade online the more of us are going to drop out. Why is it that Tanki cannot understand the simple rule, which is: If you make a mistake, you own it, apologize, and change it immediately? Tanki, on the other hand, decides to leave a TURD on the dinner table for as long as they can, to try to see if everyone gets used to the smell. It is still a TURD!!!

Thought that I would include this post that I made yesterday, since it related a bit to your own StagBeetle. The Devs will not get the point if we keep trying, and so far, mission progress will not be effected if you do not play MM. I do not know how long that the Devs want to keep giving mission progress a break, but even if you lose progress, at least you do not have to force yourself into playing a crazy, lopsided game ;)

There is a sign that the devs are considering the removal of Matchmaking (MM)... after not playing MM for days, my weekly mission progress has not been reset, as they are probably trying to determine the damage that they may have done with this roll-out of MM, and in fairness are trying to give players a chance to retain mission progress, whether, or not, they keep MM. I will reiterate an earlier post... If you want the devs to scrap MM and return the game to a fairer, more enjoyable status, you must vote with your voice in Forum... Post on this topic Like posts that you agree with and most important, Do Not Play Matchmaking If you need to play, buy a Pro Pass and you will earn enough credits to keep buying more Pro Passes. The above is the only way that you have a vote. The devs do not want to ruin the enjoyment of the game and they will come around if we let them know, but if we continue to play MM, the devs can only assume that the majority of players like it or are adapting.

Good ideas, and here is another... Add a player map-making feature that allows players to develop their own maps, and another play mode that allows others to play the completed maps. If you need to see how this may benefit the Tanki "bottom line," check out the feature in UNI-WAR, a great game, and a simple, mobile device game. Just sayin'... it's another way to get revenue out of the players, and is ALWAYS popular.

LOL... AWESOME  This is the best idea so far, but keep complaining and "like" as many comments that you agree with as possible. These are the only tools that we have to vote on this truly awful roll-out.

A well thought out analysis, and you also must take into account another con. When you are finally matched with a game, you are probably more likely to be matched into a game that has players dropping out due to the amount of carnage happening to their team. Every time that I have started a game, I am dropped into an atmosphere where I am surrounded by enemy tankers filled to the brim with modifiers, and the unceasing sound of my teammates exploding. I am going to try it again today to be sure that my assessment is correct, but it is hard to argue with the overwhelming majority of tankers here, whether I have a good experience or not. OK... three MM games. I was on the winning team on one, and all three were a slaughter, so none of the games were evenly matched. None of the three were enjoyable in the least. MM does not make things more evenly matched, but in fact, it seems to make things even more lopsided. At least when we could choose our games, I could compare scores to try to enter a close game. I have found that entering a close game was a very good way to get better scores for myself. MM has completely eliminated close games, so far as I can tell, and thus has created a worse-case scenario for the situation that it was made to eliminate. I do not know what stats that the devs are basing matchmaking on, but they are missing some vital piece(s) somewhere, and no matter how much data that they include, they will never be able to anticipate a perfect match. When I had a choice, I personally have waited for up to 5 minutes, waiting for what I have determined a perfect match. I obtain more kills, experience, and crystals by waiting for a more balanced game than I would by impatiently jumping into a game, simply because I wanted on the winning side. Tanki devs need to stick the basic format that works, because change to appease a few players who cannot figure out how to find a niche for themselves and get better scores, is not change for the better. Eliminating choices is NOT a clear way forward. Let the few players whine about unfair matches when we all have a choice. I have limitations that will always keep me from being among the best, but you don't see me whining about those guys who figure out what I'm doing, and sneak up on me 20 times in a game. They are just better than I am and deserve the kill. I don't need Tanki devs to try to level the playing field for my shortcomings. GET IT RIGHT GUYS!!! LET THOSE WHO CAN, DO; AND LET THOSE WHO CANNOT, DIE. Sincerely, BADAX Totally Disgruntled Player

I've tried the updated play and it suks. This is a terrible update that discriminates against players of restricted mobility. Every game that I join, my team is getting slaughtered, and if I would be on the winning side of this, it would not be enjoyable. I've gotten more points when I was on the losing team and could choose a map that suited my playing style, so by forcing me into a map that was not designed to complement the turrets, hulls, and paints that I have spent so much time to develop is not at all enjoyable. I am disabled and there are only specific combinations that are suitable for me to use, so... I will check back every few days to see if the devs reverse this decision to roll out such a restrictive update. If you keep the update, you are going to lose many of the players, such as myself, that enjoy sniping and stealth, although, I am sure that psycho, power players with massive upgrades, good hands and lightening reflexes are enjoying this. This is a very disappointing development to what has been a very popular and absolutely awe inspiring game. I apologize to everyone for my rant. I really love this game :(
