I just visited the AlternativaPlatform home page and they claim the following: "The project was released in 2009, but it still keeps 100 000 users online." Maybe they should update the homepage and put 20 000 instead. Here is a proposal: instead of complaining here, start sending email to the addresses posted on the web-page. Take your time to come up with well-based complaints on the MM system and how it causes players to leave. Point out all the problems this system creates. Do not put any threats like "I will quit TO if you do not remove this" or anything similar. Be polite, but hard in your message. I am going to do this. Hope others follow.

So, yet another so-called upgrade to TO. Thanks a lot, this is just what we want and have been asking for a long time. No, wait! Let me think of this for a millisecond... No, this is not what we want. You are again messing with the fundamental elements to TO trying to make it more appealing to new players in order to lure them in and part them from their money. I am feeling rather strong in my ability to see to the future and that feeling is saying that the proposed upgrades to modules and the drone-thing are the end of TO. They will be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Unfortunately I have a hate-hate-even more hate relationship with MM. It sucks. It sucks so much that you could start a diesel engine through the exhaust with that kind of suck.

It's about time the devs to stop playing ostriches and get their heads up from the sand banks. This is real, it's your jobs on the line here. The rate TO is loosing players, you will be out of a job really soon. 20 000 players and soon even less is not going to cut it. I do not know how TO gets income other than players sending cash your way, but that stream will be just a dribble soon if you continue to destroy the game. So, ask yourselves a question: how would I like to be unemployed with the reputation of killing once a profitable on-line game with over 120 000 active players during peak hours? That does not sound too good on the CV, does it. After you have pondered this for a while, it just may dawn to you that maybe this latest change (MM) in the game was probably not the greatest idea. But, it's your asses on the line, not mine. I just stop sending you cash and that's it on my part. Plenty of others have already done the same and many more will follow. I actually do not think that the devs really read these posts, but I wish they did. Mods have done very little to try to calm players down on this chain, a few extremely neutral comments about pros and cons that are mostly beside the negative points written here. And that's it. No devs explaining why this was a good change. To be honest, I think that the devs would not be very welcomed here at this time. Might get slightly roasted by the angry crowd with pitchforks and torches. With the exhibited lack of ear for the public outcry around MM, I think that the devs really deserve all the hate and wrath that players send their ways through their keyboards. You made the call and now you pay the price. deal with it. You can still pretend that all is good and stick your heads back in to the sand playing ostriches, but eventually your sand castle will crumble around you. Again, it's your asses on the line, not mine. By the way I write, you most probably can tell that I am extremely angry and pissed off by our actions towards a once great game. Even more pissed off AF the way you all act towards players. Players that justify your very existence. You have shown that whenever there is negative criticism towards any upgrade, you choose to ignore it. You concentrate on fixing bugs etc. but if the modification to TO is met with mostly negative comments, you choose to ignore them. By the ignorance you show towards us, you slap us in the face saying "We know better than you!" and I have never so far seen even an obviously flawed change to be reverted back to the original. If any dev or mod or other part of TO personnel ever reads this and gets mad, good. Mission accomplished. Because we players matter. In the middle of your anger you just might experience a tiny shred of a thought that maybe, just maybe there might be an infinitesimally small speck of truth in what players write here.
