Still no news? I'm almost certain this is because of Russia's World Cup win, I'm sure the devs must have been up celebrating. It was an amazing victory for sure, but still it would have been nice if they could have announced the event info yesterday even since they did promise.

Would like to give some feedback on the Football Frenzy Tanki World Cup event. First of all may I say thanks to the Tanki devs for making an maintaining such a fun game. But I would like to see it stay that way and see Tanki being successful. I have already mentioned in the Football Frenzy topic but I don't know if that will be looked at by the devs so I thought I'd say here: I think this event should be re-worked, or if not the developers should not have such a style of event again. Some time ago you could buy your favourite teams paint from the shop cheaply for a small amount of crystals, and could bet on favourite team. This was fun and interactive, and players enjoyed it and encouraged more people to keep playing Tanki no doubt. Also everyone could support their favourite team whether they can afford to buy or not! Now you can only buy paints from the shop, or get as a reward from containers, and there is in-game benefit whatsoever to actually having the paints. Adding the paints to containers is totally pointless, especially after the World Cup is over. With 32 paints and only a small chance to get any of them from containers, this means players have basically zero chance to actually get the paint of the team they want to support from containers! If players get any World Cup paints, a Brazil supporter will not want a Germany paint, nor a France supporter a United Kingdom paint etc. And once the World Cup is over players will not want to be getting these paints of random countries, this will reduce the chance of getting the other cool pains players will actually want from containers. These paints should not be added to containers, and should be available from the Garage. Tanki needs to rework this event, and the basic principles of this should not be repeated again. The last football tournament event Tanki did so well, and encouraged players to play the game by having fun, this kind of event will leave players feeling exploited and does not add to Tanki in any good way. Yes Tanki needs to make money, but exploiting players' interest in Football in this way and at this time is not the way to do it, encourage players to have fun as Tanki did in the past and the game will retain players and earn Tanki money. Please re-work this event to be more like the previous one, and forget about the pointless idea of having these World Cup paints in Containers indefinitely.

Tanki devs this is a very disappointing and strange idea for the football event, this doesn't even make sense. I understand that Tanki needs to make money, but exploiting an event like this forcing people to buy paints, and randomly distributing them in containers with no reward is not the opportunity to do it. Events like this are a fun opportunity to connect with players, and that in itself encourages people to play the game which will make Tanki more money in the end, keep doing things like this and you will lose players. Some time ago as I understand it, you could buy paints in the Garage cheaply for your favourite team, and bet on the winner for rewards. This was fun, interactive and everyone could participate, not trying to exploit players interest in football for money. But Im quite sure events like this people had fun with and encouraged people to play the game, which made Tanki money in the long-run. Now if you want to buy your country's paint you need to pay real money, and it has absolutely no in-game benefit other than the paint itself. And adding the paints to containers, especially after the event is totally pointless! So you have a tiny chance to actually get the paint you want from containers, out of all the other container rewards and out of 32 paints even if you get a world cup paint? So you have basically zero chance to get the paint you want. Who wants a United Kingdom paint if they support Portugal? Or a Spain paint if they support Russia? Etc. And once the world cup event is over these paints will only mean we have less chance to get the other good paints in the game people might actually want, people won't want random countries paints once the World Cup is over. Thanks for the effort Tanki, it was a nice idea but forget about adding the paints to containers. Put them in the Garage instead for crystals so people can actually buy one for the teams they want rather than this pointless idea of adding them as random container rewards. Please remember the way to get players to play the game is not to exploit players for money but to make fun events, which will encourage players to keep playing as Tanki did successfully in the past.
