I want to play gold event but I can never go on it, one time I even waited 5 hours before the game but I didn't get on the event

I have been trying to get on an a event for the last year but I can not because I it fills up to quickly. Sometimes I would wait 30min before the event starts. Please help me please let me play I just want save the gold event I tried again but no chance

When I enter a battle either the screen is grey and i only see the flags icones, or I happened to see the battle but my tank did not have a turret and the page lagged and died this happens all the time ninja i need you
