They didn't delete nicknames. They are simply harder to read. If paints stop working, though not deleted (due to some kind of issue), will you start talking such nonsense as you are now? That they were never actually needed? Nicknames are still a valid feature. They just aren't working properly. In such case it should be fixed. If the developers wanted to delete them, they would be deleted. But of course that little Semyon Striz hak fanboy is gonna criticise anyone who reports an issue
