After playing tanki for several years i feel its finally time for me to post in forums. This is a bit of a rant but it seems so obvious what balance problems exist and the devs seem to either be oblivious to them or just lazy. First and worst problem is the wasp nuke spam. it is absolutely ridiculous. Yes, they did make it take longer to recharge but what it really needed was 2 extra seconds on the timer or to go back to where the nuke would also destroy the person dropping it. and I shouldn't have to spawn in with a Titan only to have someone with a wasp drop a nuke next to me and me be unable to get away. More on that is the use of firebird and freeze. The people using the wasps in this manner LOVE firebird and freeze. As soon as your tank spawns they are blasting you with them. you CANNOT fight back as long as they are doing that as anything that isn't a firebird cannot out damage it and a freeze will disable your tank. and even worse is spawning with one of these players right on you. they will keep moving with you until your tank will become "Solid" so to speak, and at the last second place a mine and leave, damaging or destroying your tank. spawn should somehow be protected from campers (And snipers as they are also a major problem as they shoot and kill you as soon as you spawn) these spawn campers have ruined the game for me to the point its almost a chore to play. something has to be done about these things. In addition to this "Drugging" as I have heard it called is rampant as well. just spamming repair kits, double damage, double armor, double speed, this of course making it so you cannot kill them at all. the final issue I have is with Gauss. why would you ever think it a good idea to greatly increase damage AND reduce reload speed on something that was arguably already overpowered? I hope that someone sees this and takes it to heart as this game has just become awful since the addition of overdrives. I really want to keep loving tanki but it is becoming harder and harder with spawn campers and various other terrible balance problems.
