But you get a 1000% (not a typo) income tax on it, rendering you to lose your money. I can turn invisible. -
COVID-19 Discussion by Cyber2_O.o and ILiveOnTheChatBox123 After nearly a year off of the forum, I finally came back and found this in my private messages: "Hi there; Maybe you are off from school; Since the virus is not really cool. Please take care to stay active and not bored; Since when you add to the chat, I will be floored." - Chat Box Well, why not? And this was the start of our second poetic chat: "Oh, sorry, I've been taking a break, I couldn't come on since the forum remake. Sorry to keep you waiting, But it's nice to see you're still updating. It's been pretty dull these days, Time just flies by in a haze. 2020 is definitely not the best year, Everyday just brings more fear: "Will I get infected, too?" But some say it's just a bad flu. So, how are you in the middle of all of this, Staying healthy or are you dragged into the abyss?" "It really is nice to see you around; I was afraid your account by a hacker was found. COVID-19 seems to be a popular topic; So I think to this message we shall stick. Whether or not this is constantly on your mind; I must give you all a friendly remind. Someday all of this will be put behind; But we need to work together to get through this grind. While you sit there piling up wins; Make sure to follow all safety precautions. I didn't plan on saying this, not one bit; But I feel it would help learn a lesson from it. I wish you all the best of health; Don't catch the virus like I did myself." "It was more of I lacked the time, Because school was such a rapid climb. Teachers thought we could multi-task to the extreme, And that's where a 'chill' year turned to be a distant dream. But with the outbreak, school's out, Little did we know, that was only the sprout. What was once a joke is now a harsh reality, Why did we laugh about a potential fatality? If we're going to forget this, it's easier said than done, We don't know if its only just begun. So, Chat Box, what happened to you? Are you sure you can make it through?" "This virus must be really stealthy; If I caught it despite being healthy. Being that I am only a teen; The symptoms I experienced weren't too mean. But don't think of this virus as benign; For elderly people it won't be fine. The day my fever was first detected; A two week isolation I started. I only did it since to my doctor I listen. It turned out it was no extra precaution. I got tested early for my county. Now they ration tests for older people strictly. You don't want to put anyone on a respirator. No one wants to find out they are an accidental murderer. So stay at home and stop the spread. If you are sick stay in bed. Cyber, has the virus avoided your region; Or did it take it by a spin?" "Oh, then, I'm glad you're okay, For a second I thought you'd pass away. I personally haven't been infected yet, But if I do, it'll surely be a huge regret. Sometimes I wonder if this is the end, The last year on this world we'll spend. Dark thoughts aside, don't forget, That this virus is just a slight offset. If you're bored at home, then try to stay active; be in your prime, Or read a book, something to pass the time. Just whatever you do, don't go near others, For the sake of you not infecting your brothers. As a surviving case, is there anything we should know, Any tips on how to survive the blow?" "Thank you Cyber for that question. It really is something I need to mention. If you are sick, your immune system is put up to the test. So help it out, by drinking adequate fluids and getting rest. You want to try to keep your mind off your plight. I suggest reading a book, or if you want you may write. It can be good to do something you have not done in a while; You may even realize you enjoy a different style. If you see that you do well with poetry; As long as you have a good personality: You may to apply to join this chat, applications are open. You may become a guest, or a member, whatever you can spin. I am thinking of doing a poetic interview. Can you do it? It may even be you! Please a response down below; Include some information I'd like to know. Explain why you should be accepted, in poetic fashion. If your entry is good enough, you may just win. Your entry must be under 150 words. It may not contain any inappropriate slurs. If you are accepted, I'll reach out to you; Anyone can do it, even you too!" Author's note:

But the MM battle would be with Legends with tons more experience. I have the ability to control water. (Hydrokinesis) -
About 70-85 WPM on a normal basis, around 65 if I'm warming up. Best record was near 98 WPM, although my computer was laggy and that probably affected the score.

But you're in the middle of a desert without any walls to see through. All I want to do is to make them corrupt, though... I have the power to read people's minds. -
I made a small mistake and someone corrupted a Discord server because of it and framed me. (True story)

Actually, Arceus' ability let's it change its type depending on held plate. That means it can turn into a flying, psychic, or fairy type and easily defeat the Machamp. Plus, Arceus knows Future Sight, which is a 120 base power move that would most likely one-shot any Machamp. Torchic can't defeat Articuno because Torchic is underevolved and its base stats are way lower than Articuno's.

But Arceus is only the god of Pokemon so it's pretty useless, as Pokemon don't exist. I have the power to mind control others. -

That... was... awesome! :) I'm normally not interested in long articles or guides, but that was pretty creative. (Hurricane Nives lol) And there was tons of humor, which kept it interesting. Great images, too. I liked the sponsors XD. As for the awards for AWS, why do I have two articles on the top 3? Doesn't seem kind of fair... #TWNC

Thanks, Tidebreaker and Hawaii! It's okay this took a month to get approved :) I wasn't checking the AWS too much myself anyway. To be honest this was meant as a filler, and only to fit the gap between chapters 2 and 4.

The Story of Lucky and Pumpkin (Chapter 4)
Cyber2_O.o replied to Cyber2_O.o in The Story of Lucky and Pumpkin (Chapter 4) Writers' Corner
~Chapter 4~ Pumpkin turned out to be fairly good at climbing. His claws sunk into the bark of the tree easily and they helped hold him up when he lost his grip. Pumpkin wasn’t good at going quickly, though. He took his time and it took a few long moments for him to regain his balance when he lost his grip. Too long. Each time I had to remind him of his goal to get him moving again. Other than that, he was better at climbing than anyone I've ever seen. Well, not that I’ve seen many animals climb before, but Pumpkin seemed like the best overall. When we got to the top, I was jubilant. My plan worked! I hopped off Pumpkin and landed on the nest, with a soft thump. My siblings and Mom weren't in the nest, probably still out looking for me. I'm sorry, I thought ruefully. They must have been so worried about me. “Thanks, Pumpkin. I promise I’ll visit you when I can,” I told him. Just then, my family flew onto view, eyes full of genuine relief for me. “Lucky! You’re back!” Stripes rushed toward me first, his wings outspread welcomingly. He tumbled into me, knocking me over. He got up quickly, afraid of hurting my wings. “Where did you go? Why is there a cat behind you?” Rose came, half flying, half walking. She looked surprised and a little curious. Pumpkin shrank a little in the presence of all these newcomers. “We were so worried!” Mom came to me. Then, she saw Pumpkin. “What are you doing here? If you think you can eat Lucky, forget it!” Mom flared her wings protectively. Before I knew it, Mom was attacking him. Pumpkin flinched each time her claws raked his fur, leaving red trails. He swiped at Mom, but he was careful to not hurt her too badly. “Wait! Stop! Pumpkin’s really kind!” I yelled. I was too late. Mom made a deep scratch on Pumpkin. He screeched and fell off the tree, claws flailing out. His eyes grew into two huge moons, before he fell onto the ground with a terrifying thud. “What?” Mom asked. She looked at me like I was crazy. “I flew out at midnight! I just wanted to fly on my own! I know I should have told you! Pumpkin caught me when I fell! He won’t hurt us! He gave me food and shelter for the night! He’s the best friend I’ve ever had! Don’t hurt him!” I yelled without thinking. I immediately regretted telling Mom about my expedition outside last night. “Who’s Pumpkin?” Mom asked, softly, but I could sense she was trying to hold back the anger because I flew off at night without telling anyone. “Pumpkin’s the cat you just attacked. He hunted worms for me when I fell,” I responded. “You mean a cat helped you?” Stripes stared at me like I just told them that I turned into a cat myself. “Yeah,” I said. “What’s wrong with that?” “Cats eat birds! He could have been acting kind to you, but he might eat you when you least expect it!” Mom shouted at me. “I know, but he could have eaten me when I slept!” I shouted back. “Really? You slept right next to a cat?” Mom looked at me. “Duh. How would I sleep if I couldn’t sleep next to him?” I guess I won the argument, as Mom's eyes began to soften. “Let’s just say you were lucky at meeting Pumpkin. Anyone else could’ve eaten you,” Mom hugged me. “Stripes, Rose, get food for us! Five worms each would be great! Two for Lucky!” “Don’t worry about me! I can take care of myself! Besides I already ate,” I grumbled. “You have to eat everyday. It’s almost winter, and you need all your energy to fly,” Mom told me. Mom had told me about winter before. About the long flight to a new home, about the flocks of other birds flying with them, about the slight chill in the air as we outrun the cold. How could winter come so quickly? I was totally not ready for it yet, not that I will ever be. Especially when I'd just made a friend from another species that can't fly like us. “Sorry I left,” I murmured to Mom. “I know how worried you were.” “Sorry I fussed about you so much. You’re more responsible than I thought,” Mom hugged me again. “Well, I know all a bird needs to know, so I’m pretty responsible for myself,” I told her. "Even though I'm still young..." “Oh, Lucky. Don’t try doing anything your siblings do, okay? They're more reckless than I'm comfortable with, and I don't need another chick to go flying off to something unknown.” Mom told me. "Don't visit that cat, alright? We have to prepare until Winter, or our fates are sealed here." “Sure,” I told her. But inside me, I wanted to visit Pumpkin everyday until Winter came. Nice! I really like your 999 and Darkness stories. They're extremely well-written and I can't wait for the next one! Write faster. ;)

Kaisdf, they aren't exactly fantastic cliffhangers because they're literally the same event, just at different times. And thanks. To be honest, I've had my friends read it over and revise it over the years, plus I did some editing myself before posting Hippin in Hawaii, nice pun! Pythor, thanks!

As in the forum? Yes, I agree. I would like to write a ton of works and post them, but I don't think the moderators would like me almost spamming the section. Plus, I have major writer's block right now.

The Story of Lucky and Pumpkin (Chapter 3)
Cyber2_O.o replied to Cyber2_O.o in The Story of Lucky and Pumpkin (Chapter 3) Writers' Corner
~Chapter 3~ To my surprise, the cat hissed in annoyance, but rolled over until it was cushioning my fall. I landed flat on its belly, and panicked. Don’t eat me, don’t eat me! I flapped my wings hurriedly but I was too winded to float. “Don’t worry! I won’t eat you!” The cat meowed to me. Huh, as if. I’m not going to fall for that trick. Cats always eat birds, and nothing’s going to change that. But for a split second, I stopped flapping my wings to see what the tabby had to say. “Are you okay? It’s really late. Are you hungry? I can get you some food. Do you need to rest? Why did you go out? Are you tired of being in that nest and want to explore? Oh, my name’s Pumpkin, by the way. Are you hurt? I saw you fall the other day,” the cat introduced excitedly. Excitedly… but why? Is he excited to eat me? “I’m fine,” I exclaimed. There was nothing I could do to stop the cat from doing whatever it wanted with me, so I played along. “I’m Lucky. That fall was unexpected. I guess I need food… and rest. Aren’t you going to eat me?” I asked cautiously, just in case. “Of course not! I don’t want to eat a baby chick. Their feathers are too annoying. Besides, it creeps me out,” Pumpkin shuddered. “What do you eat?” “Worms,” I replied. Pumpkin sounded alright. He could help me get back home. Besides, Pumpkin’s fur was just as soft as the Fluff Pile. As soon as I answered, Pumpkin settled me down and started looking for worms. “I found one!” Pumpkin exclaimed. There was a tiny earthworm that had somehow got out of the ground and was trying to wiggle back in. He raised a claw to pin it, but stabbed the ground beside it repeatedly. "Why isn't this working? You make it look so easy." “Pumpkin, stop. That’s not how you do it,” I snatched up the worm in my beak and swallowed. “That's how you properly hunt,” I added proudly. After pointing out enough worms for me to eat, Pumpkin gathered a few leaves for me to lay on. Every bird needs to rest after falling even if they didn’t get hurt. I pulled out a few loose feathers to make it a little softer and settled down. “How are you going to fly back to your nest?” Pumpkin asked me as I laid down on the temporary nest that I just made. I thought about it. How would I fly back? I won’t be able to fly soon, so I can’t go back. Will I have to live with Pumpkin? That wouldn’t be so bad, I guess… “Let’s get you rested for tonight. I’ll get some worms for you when you wake up. I’m tired too,” he yawned and curled up into an orange fluff ball. I closed my eyes, but I couldn’t sleep. What if a cat comes and eats me in my sleep? I tried to imagine I was in the nest with my siblings and Mom. That helped me sleep for the rest of the night. The next morning, I woke up with Pumpkin shouting in my ear, “Wake up! Are you going to sleep the day away? Let’s have some fun! Come on!” I blearily opened my eyes and stretched my wings. Pumpkin was holding a tiny ball of fur in his jaws. “All you have to do is to catch the ball each time I throw it to you.” With that, Pumpkin tossed the ball. I chased after it, half-flying, half-running, with my beak open to catch it. A small zephyr lifted my spread-out wings, and floated me up toward the ball. “That was great!” Pumpkin meowed cheerfully when I got back. Suddenly, I got an idea to get back to my nest. “Can you climb a tree?” I asked Pumpkin. “I can, but why?” he replied, cocking his head. “I was thinking that if you could, you can climb up the tree with me on your back and I can get back home!” I told him, eyes gleaming in excitement. “Sure, but can you promise me that you would come back often?” Pumpkin sounded like he was going to make me come back if I said no. “Why not?” I asked. Why would I ever leave him? He was my only friend. Would anyone ever leave a friend? “I’ll miss you when you leave. I never get any friends. Every animal here thinks I would eat them!” Pumpkin laughed. “Um, can we go now? I don’t want anyone thinking that I was caught by an eagle or something,” I was worried my family would spend useful time looking for me instead of getting food for today. “Sorry,” Pumpkin said, jumping on the tree. I grasped Pumpkin’s back just in case I fell off, and we started climbing up, back to my old life, with my new friend, Pumpkin.
