True, true. Honestly, duelling others with augments isn't too much of a big deal, but the only issue I have is duking it out with a Vulcan with heat immunity or resistance brandishing its incendiary band. A stream of flaming lead flying everywhere, yikes. Yes, it's really frustrating seeing how much more powerful p2w players are nowadays and we can't really do much about it. I can manage because I had a uber-powerful combo before the Mk conversion update, and I have Mk 5-5 hunter with 6-8 smoky. Don't know how long that trusty tank will last me but it's not slacking off anytime soon. Sadly for others though, that may not be the case.

Overdrives are powerful abilities given to each hull in the game. While the current overdrives are all fine and dandy, I'm just proposing that maybe we should develop more overdrives to be used by hulls as an added form of versatility. The delivery of these overdrives could be in the form of augments, with the current overdrives being default. Ideas for addtional overdrives: Wasp Overdrive name: Celerity Engine The user becomes immune to impact force from external sources, and gains a 50% increase in maximum speed for 15 seconds. Hornet Overdrive name: Smoke Screen For the following 5 seconds, puffs of smoke form around the user, reducing visibility for any enemy tanks. The impairment of vision increases if there is more smoke in an area. Meaning, a hornet can pop smoke and dash around, generating some general cover, or can sit in place and create a thick cloud that reduces visibiity to zero. Hunter Overdrive name: Priority Target After a 0.5 second delay, the user loses and becomes incapable of gaining supply buffs for 15 seconds to emit a pulse, marking any targets within 10 meters with an orange ring below them. Targets marked have all augments disabled, and receive 50% additional damage from all sources. The mark lasts for 5 seconds and isn't removed when the user is destroyed. Marks cannot stack (activation of Priority Target from additonal hunters will not affect currently marked targets). Viking Overdrive name: Warrior's Aura The user emits a powerful aura that reduces the damage output all nearby enemies caught in the aura by 75%. The aura is emitted for 10 seconds. Enemies who leave the aura regain their full damage output. Dictator Overdrive name: King's Blessing User becomes immobile and emits a blue aura that heals nearby allies for 10-30 health per tick for 15 seconds. Users that are closer to the user receive more healing. Titan Overdrive name: Unwavering Strength The user becomes unmovable (cannot be flipped by Juggernaut's OD, cannot be pushed by enemy hulls) for 10 seconds. Mammoth Overdrive name: Colossal Resolve User gains invulnerability from turret and mine damage for 5 seconds. I couldn't think of anything for Hopper and Ares, so I left them out. -
Yeah.... don't get me started on that. That is a stupidly overpowered strategy of just slapping a brick on a spacebar and incinerating everything.

That idea doesn't sound bad.... Maybe, to make this idea more fun, we could add a secondary effect to the OD. When your overdrive is activated, you have 5 seconds of invisibility, but your damage output is reduced by 25%. After exiting stealth, you disable the radars of all enemies within 15 meters of where you exit stealth. -

I hate playing the hovering hulls. Ares and Hopper? No thanks, I detest those things with every fiber of my existence.

Also, I don't like using arrow keys + zxc. Reason #1: The up and down arrow keys are virtually non-existent. They are SO tiny that it's a joke. Second, playing wasd feels much more natural, and < with > seems to work fairly well too.

Sorta, kinda yeah. I didn't have the fluidity of rotating both my turret and hull at the same time, and it was tough manually aiming. Somehow I managed to do somewhat ok, but yeah. I am so glad I'm able to use two hands now xD

Boy, do I have tales to tell.... For 2 years, I had been playing WASD and ZXC before I fully switched to WASD ,./ I also use mouse controls, occasionally.

Used Hunter Mk 5-1 with Shaft 4-7 on mouse controls. I really like my gear score (any jhin fans here?), and I feel like I should be playing shaft more often.

I know, I know. I was just joking around. I have like 1100 batteries just chilling in my garage. I don't feel the need to buy a drone, because I don't want to commit to 300 crystals for 1 minute or use. -
Alrightttttttttttt. I dropped using shaft because I found it tough to use in MM, manually aiming with < and >. But, decided to go mouse controls and it's FUN. I kind of feel sorry for neglecting lil ol shaft at Mk 4-7 while i smothered my hunter and firebird with love. Any tips in general when using shaft in close-quartered/medium maps with buildings?

Hopper seems like a really cool hull. I really find that the OD is a fair counter to my beloved Hunter's Overdrive. In the 1.1 second delay of your blue lightning manifesting, a quick tap of a key and Hopper soars and interrupts your activation. It's small, nimble, and really hard to hit imo (or maybe I'm a potato with a smoky when it comes to aim, idk). Hunter's OD can reach a hopper mid flight and on several occasions I've had the ball in RGB land on the roof of the domed storehouses in Year 2042. Fun times. -
Smoky is the coolest looking turret on Hunter, imo. Throw in Spark or Sunset Camouflage as a paint, and MWAH! Beautiful. Isida doesn't look bad either.

Playing against Vulcans with incendiary band and heat immunity is annoying. I'm just wondering, would things be better if they change the way heat immunity works? Because, it seems like the user is immune to overheat damage. But, why not just prevent the user's temperature from increasing at all? It'd still work the same, no damage from heat, but then vulcans can't capitalize on brick-on-spacebar tactics.
