I played on this account for the first time in about a year. Used hornet smoky. Admittedly not the greatest of combos perhaps to benefit from hornets OD as you say. But I was underwhelmed. I did take first place in the game on winning side... but don't know if my combo was specifically responsible for that. Maybe. I died quite easily at times. My kill sprees were generally around 3-4 with an OD maybe 5. No more respectable than when I play titan and get kills under the dome I think though. Then I went into an assault mode game. Defending point as blue on kungur. Hunter firebird came up the main side ramp twice into a whole herd of us. 4-5 defending blue tanks. Activated his OD twice that game in the same way. Stunned every one of us and scored. Absolutely nothing we could do to stop him. On each occasion a wasp followed close behind with a flag and scored as well. We were still stunned, just starting to rotate turrets and hulls. 1 Hunter firebird combo led to 20 points in mere seconds. For their team it was a 10 point boost twice in beginning and middle game. The game ended at 4 min marker. 70-38 for red. Try this account again in a year I suppose. Hornet OD in games like tdm where kills matter I can see the arguments that you say. Even in games like CTF Assault and CP where just a regular onslaught of death raining slows gameplay that one side cant meaningfully act. Still pales in comparison to what hunter firebird can do in game. -

I mean. I'm baffled. I can only spell things out in forums to such a degree where I'm not misunderstood. I clearly state in games where you are 10-10 as example. Then red does not score for 1.5 min, because blue shuts everything down. It for sure happens. I see wretched scores all the time. In this example, I was suggesting they had 3 separate hunters. Each using their overdrives over a course of a few min. In league with other members getting kills over the course of 1.5 min. I see it all the time. Red will often get games where they have huge lulls in a game where they cannot score. A blue team will get more than 3 kills in 1.5 min. The three kills was just the initial shut down. Killing a hunter doesn't solve anything if their are three and multiple other defenders. Also, because on ocassion people agree with my statements that obviously hunter is overpowered, these discussions with people countering my statements with banalities is laughable. Please make it stop. If you have valid criticism I would hear and bring it up as much I could. I've heard some that counter me well to an extent. But does nothing I say make sense. Start conversations with you are right about this: i agree. Then move on to wher eyou disagree and why. If my views continue to be misrepresented do not point your finger at me as if I'm the cause of misunderstandings in others. if my viewpoint wasn't clear after all this, well sorry but yeah I'm gonna make some negative cognitive assumptions about you. Ive written plenty and its not hard to understand. But then I'll write one phrase, and for some reason everything else is ignored? Of course, too long... didn't read. I just saw the one phrase, and saw that I could argue against it.... so I ignored everything but this one thing. Close this topic down. Who cares anymore. It doesn't even matter. Hunter got nerfed. Everyone trying to tell me it didn't need it... clearly even the devs thought you were wrong. I would have liked a particular nerf, but got this. Many even stated in this thread... Hunter is great, its great for dropping flags. I use it all the time, and its good. .... My mental state was both aided in venting the stupidity in hunter gameplay. And it suffered with listening to people's minutia filled responses. -

If you say something that makes sense... then I won't be sour about it. So iWillhealYou makes a valid point... Perhaps INSTEAD of saying WITHOUT FIRING A SHOT I should have said... kill you. Though I think I did a few times. Ok, so yes. A wasp doesnt shoot you. It just drops a bomb.. killing you. A mammoth doesn't shoot you it simply touches you... which kills you. So either case. You have an hp wall separating you from an opponent interfering with flag or ball gameplay. 2000 hp. or 4000 hp. or 8000 hp. So perhaps in my attempts to be more specific I was to specific. Keep it at killing you. Hunter doesn't need to. The criticisms werent really reasonable. In fact, some people don't even respond to the criticsm. They're just like. Ok hunter is op. So is every other overdrive. We don tlike overdrives. There is no aim of rectifying the situation... which I know devs control. But yes, we got a nerf of range and length of ability. So we see. But meh. My specific outrage is not localized at just the dropping of a ball, or a flag. But the overpowered nature of it certainly pales most of the other abilities in my opinion. I am perfectly ok with those who dont care about this as much, or are more hurt over other aspects like disabled drugs/redrug inability. Those are legitimate. just to be clear with you diesel. I have a titan smoky lets say. The game is 10 - 10 in assault. For 1.5 min straight, lets say 3 different hunters block all scores from red *my team. So we go to about 25 kills for blue, and red stays at 10 scored points. Because hunter interferes with ability of red to play its side of the gameplay in assault. If I died the flag would naturally return back home sure. But I don't have to die. Hunter just has to zap me. Sure, I can say that 1.5 min was just time. we can make it back later on. But can we? Their hunter is recharging. The 3 overdrives wil go again. So the game is ending. At 5 min, and the score is 50 for blue, 20 for red. A red team often has 2-3 long range tanks who arent trying to score. THey are just softening up the opposing blue base. Also, 1 or 2 people just playing close range tdm not trying to score but again, soften. so lets say roughly half the team is not bothering to score, because slow hulls, or just attacking doing damage letting the other half score. I've seen games where hunters shut down the whole thing. But sure, you get games of assault where the game doesnt seem broken. We are talking about the ability of overdrives and what should and should not be allowed. In your view, should any hull be given the ability to make it that other opposing hulls cant get kills? Lets say this new tank is a new class. Tiny class. It has 800 hp, to m4 of 1600 hp. It's fast. Lots of stats. And btw, every 14 seconds it gets an overdrive. When its active, its a universal blanket that means the opposing team, all hulls can't inflict final kills for 15 seconds. On a 1 min recharge. Based on what I've seen in this thread, regardless of title... people would just say. Ok so for 15 seconds you cant get a kill. Just get kills in the 45 seconds after before ability is used again. Why does it matter that you just cant get kills. Would this frustrate you? What if we just balanced it a bit more. 10 seconds your whol team couldnt get a kill. Or so in last 20 seconds of a game, if we have a 1 kill lead, and 2 of these tiny hulls Well its game over. Those last 20 seconds there will be no kils for your whole team. Oh, but then you ll say, ok but both sides can equip this tiny hull, making it that neither side can get a kill. Great, so we ll have a game of tdm where for 15 secons spread out 10 times over the course of the game, people just drive aroudn without being able to kill each other. But thats ok right? I mean, in tanki, there are lots of cool visuals and stuff. Not like half the games don't directly involve killing as essential to the game play. So whos for it? A tiny hull, very low hp, but its overdrive denies ability to get kills. Your team can do damage up the last 1 percent of hp, but no more. Sure people get frustrated and say whatever. Tankhd.jr thanks for the question. I find the problem of dropping flag and ball because it interferes with the actual goals of a game. You can't score. Thats like a mechanic in game that removes your ability to get kills in tdm. directly it doesnt kill you, but in a game of rugby victory is not determined by getting kills. Its about who scores 5 goals first. So lets say you are defending at your blue point. Red comes in with 3 tanks against 2 defenders and with splash damage you fight them off. All 5 tanks are destroyed. Then 1 blue tank respawns near ball and picks it up. In comes a new red hunter tank, activates od. You drop the ball right by your blue point. Hunter picks up the ball and scores. For any other hull, theyd need to spend time lowering your hp to kill you first, allowing teammates to come back to point to defend and get the ball etc. -

There will be no surprise to some about who this is about. But in a broader sense, globally perhaps and with the game. How do we progress in conversation with increased polarization, not just political but simply in general on given topics. When it is clear that people do not try to listen and understand what you are saying. For example, Let's say I try to say 2 + 3 = 5. Then someone will come in and say this: 2nd place and 3rd place in a game should not equal 5th place in the game. I'll reply, excuse me? What, I'm not talking about 2nd and 3rd place finishers equally 5th place finishers. I mean numerically with math, 2 + 3 = 5. Same person, the 2nd hull is hornet, and the third turret in the game is rail. But the 5th hull is dictator, and the 5th turret is Thunder. Therefore when you compare hornet rail, to thunder dictator you are comparing different range turrets with different sized hulls. 2 + 3 won't always equal 5. Wait no, just please. Listen to what I'm saying and respond to that with how i contextualize it. 2 apples + 3 apples = 5 apples. That's what I'm trying to say. No, no, no . The guy above had it wrong. 2nd and 3rd is firebird hunter. So its firebird hunter vs thunder dictator. And its definitely not equal. No the OP meant math. He's not talking about turrets or hulls. Please let's talk about 2 apples plus 3 apples = 5 apples. Well, twins fires 2 apples per shot, and Shaft has a 3 apple shot. But they arent the same thing. Not only that, but shafts triple apple shot with alteration is not the same as twins 2 apples shot. So its more like 2 apples, and 3 bananas = nothing because they arent comparable. But lets talk about other fruit like cheese. Cheese isn't a fruit. I don't think the OP wants to talk about food. He was just using apples as an example. 2+3+5 guys. I created the topic, I know what its about and what it means. It's pretty clear. OP original post is about apples? This is a waste. Clearly OP is biased against turkey and there is so much turkey in the game lets talk to him about turkey. Turkey turkey turkey. In summary, Tanki, you are doomed. -

This is seriously like talking with 4 year olds. I can't stand this forum. And I can't stand the game. lol Just layer whatever labels you want on me. Who cares anymore. The game is turning to crap. Wolverine... you quote a comment that had two distinct ideas, then replied to it. Which comment were you refering to within the quote? The dropping of flags or balls? or the reset of supplies? The thread is not silly. It is 100 percent legit. Perhaps I need to finely word it. Hunter is NUMEROUSLY overpowered. It's great that the other hulls have Single use powerful abilities people want to compare to hunters... but this is a sad attempt to justify hunter. Respond to this. And only to this. Read on Below. Hunter drops flag or rugby in any mode. What does it matter what any of the other hulls can do. If you respond that other hulls can make a player drop the rugby or flag by killing them, my view point of your mental abilities plummets. What I am not comparing, is the various hulls abilities to kill. They can all do that. And yes hunter does that quite well. Firebird hunter is my most hated combo right now. The point again, is without firing a shot, a hunter makes you drop a flag or rugby. Easily can then tag a friendly flag back home, take the rugby NOT EVEN KILL YOU and go score. The other hulls have to kill you first. I saw the posts to nerfing hunter. Leaving the above mechanic in the game in my view is its own death sentence. Seriously. I can't see the information behind the scenes. But hunter is killing the fun of this game. Take serious considerations to balance it devs. A hull mechanic that so distorts game modes THEMSELVES, and not just ability to destroy tanks is ruining hte game in my opinion. ----- That is all you need to respond to. I think hunter has other problems, that need balancing. Maybe what they did will help a smidge. But dropping flags and rugbies is disgusting ability. Tanki is a game of tank destruction. I don't care how they go about encouraging tanks to die based on a turret you are using - alterations- or a hull you are using -overdrives- or any other number of methods -drones- -drugs- etc etc. I can handle dying in tanki just fine. But you tell me to join a CTF Rugby or Assault mode game, and input 1 particular mechanic in the game to abuse that game mode so that a player can abuse the game mode, and not just the method they like to kill other tanks with, you are shooting yourself. ===== I thought the comment about low hp hulls being given boosts as they are merely glass cannons intriguing. For those like wolverine and others who have concerns how they do, I do want genuine progression on this topic and for this game. To the extent they are ignoring hunters abilities simply because other hulls have abilities of their own, where hunter clearly has more.... they can be left out of hte discussion. If they want to claiming making a player drop a rugby, or hunter have 10 abiltiies while other tanks have 2-3 is balanced. This is intellectually dishonest of these speakers. We could safely ignore them. For those players who genuinely describe similar sentiments about hunter but understand the need to nerf it to some degree and it simply being a matter of how... this I can have a conversation about. If you want, give all overdrives the ability to drop flags and rugby. SIGH. -

Nope. To be fair, I've tried different combos. It isn't that I'm not good... in my view. I do pretty good in games historically and to some extent even now. In some small way... this is nitpicking, while at the same time not. Without knowing behind the scenes whats happening obv I cant say much concretely. Is constant sales and double funds every weekend a sign of bad things? Are the player counts dropping? I dunno. But I have decided to drop tanki, at this point its beyond trying new things. I did that years ago. I tried out fast hulls short range turrets, long range turrets strong hulls, medium hulls with all turrets. and reverse combos like fire titan and isida titan. Thunder wasp. I did that experimentation already. And sure I could do it again... but the law of diminishing returns applies here. It is long past worth it. The game does not equal entertainment. And the dialogue in forums compared to games ive been involved with elsewhere is significantly lacking. They just announced how they are constantly fixing things in game or something like a few days. Made a few adjustment to magnum etc whatever else. And nothing about hunter? It is pure incompetence on some level... I mean it must be. Funny enough, in order to give them credit I have to say its incompetence. Because otherwise, it is something much much worse. I get hunter is garbage hull. They had to make it good. But meh. I've basically already stopped all my accounts over the last year except one was trying to fight it through. Sometimes a second. But it just isn't worth it anymore. Come back in months or years who knows. Hunter will get nerfed. And then just see whats become of the game. -

Don't really feel the nature of this forum was discussed all that well. Some very lazy misrepresented views that don't really address the issues. The only games that I can effectively counter Hunter's disgusting overdrive is Deathmatch. I stalk hunters, wait for them to use their overdrive, still their kills, kill them. I've done it incredibly well on several maps. There are the odd maps that don't favour this approach based on the turret you are using to stalk the hunter in deathmatch but yeah. The games that I now find unbearable... are assault, rugby, and capture the flag. If I play assault as blue... ok. This is just teamdeathmatch and I can enjoy it. But play red on assault tends to be a waste of time unless my team is overpowered and they dont have hunters or the opponents just suck at playing blue. Rugby is a write off. So is capture the flag. Hunters OD abuses the system to harshly. I don't play juggernaut. And I don't like deathmatch despite hunter not being an issue in deathmatch for me anymore. The two game modes that I still enjoy are CP and TDM. Unfortunately it isn't really enough. The other hulls sure.. have their thing. But they don't abuse game machanics forcing opponents to drop flags and drop rugby. Other games provide more entertainment. Just gonna wait out the hunter nerf. The game for me has lost the appeal. -

Partially correct. The adjective obtuse is good for describing someone slow on the uptake: "Don't be so obtuse: get with the program!" The adjective obtuse literally means "rounded" or "blunt," but when it's used for a person, it means "not quick or alert in perception" — in other words, not the sharpest tool in the shed. Don't take it as an insult wolverine. It is just an observation. Much of what you say is... well, sigh. Post number 5 is actually a really poor post. You state 1: 22 m. It is 30. You say that is short and not good. It outranges short turrets themselves. I use vulcan, but if you had hunter and wanted to zap a short range turret, you would zap them before they even got in range. While I get yes many turrets outrange 30m... yes literally. You can shoot them beyond their activiation so. This is obtuse of you. 30m is not a weakness. In game, 30 m gets you a lot. But you are obtuse. Instead of realizing what we are saying (I somewhat imagine you do... and are just this baffoon for us as a self gag) you say, listen the range could be 120m! Imagine hunter on 120m. But then you would say. Well... that's still weak. It's only 120 m. Some turrets have unlimited range. So just shoot them before. You are too flippant. It shows. We get it. lol... hence obtuse.Not as an insult, but as a reflection of how you relate with us. In an obtuse way. We don't talk in the same way wolverine. At best, what you tell me is ... I can't change your mind. Learn to adapt. Play different tactics. This I understand from you. But nothing when explaining the balance of a turret. In that post, you go on to state what the turret DOES NOT to. To be clear, you are again being obtuse. Literally. The point is not what the tank does not do. I can list a billion things all hulls dont do. Titan DOES NOT deal damage. Titan DOES NOT repel tanks and flip them all upside down. Titan DOES NOT transfer a flag or rugby from an opponent to the titan when the opponents tank enters the dome. Could you imagine that? You enter the DOME of Titan, and the titan literally just steals the flag right from you. It instantly transfers. But again, wolverine... these are things titan does not do. So now though you've commented about how strong it is. Do you see how in this paragraph I've shown you to be wrong? Because I listed all the stuff it couldnt do? But of course, that would be OBTUSE of me, because you aren't saying that titan is overpwoered based on what it doesn't do, you are saying it's overpowered based on what it CAN and DOES to. Are you proud of your arrogance? Stubborness? I could explain this quite easily to even a child. Not necessarily to convince or prove to them things. Just to make them see my point of view. And understand it. Do you understand what we say, and just ardently say random things that dont matter, or you genuinely unable to comprehend our meaning? That hunter does not deal damage, or does not do damage through obstacles, and other things you state. If you genuinely believe you are arguing for these as being weaknesses... Well plainly. They are not. It is not a weakness that a hull can not ride up a vertical wall in tanki. Because again, none of them can. Therefore they all share this weakness? While you may take a view point that this then means, hey weakness! To be on point, that they are unable to do specific things does qualify as weakness. To try and show you that I understand you.... I took your advice. I learned a new tactic. I saw how strong hunter was... because it is. But I thought how can I used this, what can I do. In deathmatch, I'm delighted to say that I'm wrecking faces with my new strategies to deal with hunter. Just like you wanted wolverine. I've seen what hunter does, adapted to it, and now I'm slaughtering. So far its mostly only a strategy I can use in deathmatch. But I'll keep looking in other match ups for how to use something. The idea of using a overdrive after hunter, is one I've alraedy been using. But it just keep on keeping on. Sadly it just is more of a bandaid. Like getting your drugs back using dictator... sometimes, largely you stil end up losing. But alas. Another point: You earlier I believe responded to my post saying hunter can use OD and return flag in asasult with this: That's assaults fault, not hunters. Assault does that. ... ok blatantly this is obtuse of you. To exhibit understanding to earn a grade... surely you understood what I meant. And simply didnt respond to. Secondly, you mentioned after I said that hunter directly causes a tank to drop flag after OD, you said, after viking activiated OD, and Possibly Titan, again easy to make opponents drop flag in Assault. This too is obtuse of you. Now I will give you the benefit of the doubt here. Why is this obtuse of you. I will repeat. Hunter activates OD and 2 flags are dropped instantly. Viking activiates OD and then causes 2 enemy flags to drop. If you brought up titan, using its OD and then this leads to 2 flags dropped. Or simply not scored. Why have you not responded to my comment wolverine. Here, I'm not going to tell you why you ignored what I said. I'd much rather you tell me why what you said entirely missed my point. Wolverine, you are quite obtuse. If a Viking or Hornet with OD has easy time killing the flag carrier in ASL what happens to the flag? You are beyond obtuse, in fact. Killing isn't a requirement for Hunter. Most maps are 2 flags in assault. Some 3. If you have 3 flag carriers on red side, and they all storm from different directions, they close in at same time... 1 OD from a hunter will deactivate all of them at once sending each flag back to start. No kills. No fired shots. I've read through. You actually don't understand arguments. I'm not saying Hunter should be nerfed to the ground with no OD. If that is the OD of hunter... to make opponents drop flags, rugbys etc... then fine... let that be all or half of what it does. Don't give it 10 different side effects. I feel you've been told this.... but you are inept at argumentation. Like in the sense that you should feel embarassed. Just acknowledge the point. There is no counter here wolverine. There is nothing for you to say other than yeah. Every other OD still requires shots fired and to actually kill the flag bearer to send flag back in assault mode. My example of sending three flags back at once is rare. I sense you will read everything I say and if I've come to know you re silly arguments, you would come back with this : it is very rare for any hunter to get three flags back. And that's about all you'd say of worth bla bla bla the rest. So yes, it is rare. One most maps only have 2 flags. And yeah, even in those with 3 its rare for all 3 to attack at once and give hunter that option. But disable two flag carriers at once? I see that multiple times. On multiple maps. And all with one button press. Don't shrug off the OD effect of hunter saying "assault mode" returns flag. Assault mode was already in place. When you drop flag in assault mode, and it goes back that is in the game. Now add hunter, hunter drops the flag. That means in assault mode, hunter OD drops a flag and returns it to start. Thats the ability. The devs knew it. There is no kill here. If you are in a game of assault, and its 65 for red, and 66 for blue. There are 2 attacking red flags. It's super close! Only one needs to score... But no. You have hunter. Blue wins ... in this scenario.. easily. Just activate and bam. Red physically can't win. I am not attacking you as a person wolverine. I have no idea about your life. But your argumentation needs a lot of work. Or, your explanations. Or your understanding. Or your knowledge. Dude I have no idea. Most ODs revolve around kills. How does OD X Y or Z result in your tank killing 1... 2... 3. In games like tdm, and deathmatch, where the objective of the game mode is killing, ok this is even and comparable to see how all ODs result in kills which in turn reflect the goal of the game mode. All your drugs just activated? Yeah that could give you some kills. A big bomb killing anything close? Oh yeah. Dome where you take significantly less damage? You survive longer and get more kills that way. Increase damage for a short time by 500%? oh yeah damage baby. All that hunter can do.... oh yes, you ll get some kills. .... But save that hunter OD. Now go to any game mode where killing isnt the objective. And except for CP, hunter suddenly reveals itself to be the beast that it is. What other OD can directly affect a game mode with goals other than killing like Hunter can? Rugby and flag bearing games... have no precedent in what other ODs can do to affect that game mode like hunter. I don't want hunter to be nerfed with no abilities. I think hunter is maybe a pretty poor and tank and wont get used without some power. So give it some nifty abilities. What it has now is too much. I think at least. -

Forgot about the extra bit of stuff hornet did. Yes, hitting throgh your own protection on all tanks is nice. etc Wolverine... look, from my perspective its not even about being rude or not. You simply don't want to read? ... Either you are embarassed that I called you out on very poor arguments, or you have nothing left to say. This is fine. You are almost like fake news. You say writing more doesn't improve my position? ... ?????? ... um. Of course it does. Wolverine lets just stop out conversations. I think you are one of the people I've seen write outrageous requests and make ridiculous comments and just forgot about it, but I get that if you can't read and respond, and just attack me? Then yeah, there will be no further conversation. Yes I'm angry... like it's just a game and it doesn't matter I don't lose sleep over it. But the title of the post literally says to express your blind rage. See how I wrote a bit extra? Don't waste my time. You tried to write, it still didn't add up and I clearly wrecked you into a corner. If you have something to say that says: hunter has a lot, but here are 6 simple things that easily help you deal with it, like the person right after us tried to write to me, then I'll start giving you more credit. I agree Titan and hornet, even viking have some nice tricks... but meh. Hunter just seems above them all. I mean, specifically what set me off, is when I found out the force drop the rugby and flag from your tank after stunning you. This is clearly overboard. In team games where your team is ill equipped to handle 3 opposing hunters who know hwat htey are doing. You just lose 5-0 in rugby. Quick game. but ugh. Is painful. -

oh wolverine. Ok well you slightly improved from the useless original post you made... So lets continue to break this down, I'll grant you "tried" harder on your second go at my view. But don't worry what revisions you made.... sigh, still dont quite make up what i'm saying. Ok, lets again, spell out what I'm saying. In fact I should really try to use this to really improve my overall conversation skills? Lets have a real dialogue in fact, i wont erase everything I wrote. But lets really try to be VERY clear about what we are saying... because maybe up until now... my point hasnt been made? The first point you make, after my saying lets rant about hunter now. So you seem to think because I have titan I have some vast interest in a dome. I have one hull. I have titan... Dyou think I had this account before overdrives? This whole escapade on your part... lets just say it how it is... it flat out falls on its face. My choice of titan is because its a big hull with health. I like to live faster than a wasp. I did not get this account, with this tank, after overdrives... for the overdrive. I dont have 5 m2s, of which, Ive played titan. Oh wait, I did buy hornet. I havent even played in so long. Ok, so yeah, I have two hulls. Played hornet a bit... but it at the M2 level. So I dont have 7 chocies, of which Ive chose titan. I have two, and yeah, titan for my playstyle... is better than hornet. But hornet and freeze is a combo I dont mind. Fast hull short range turret. And big hull long range turret. Those jive. Explciitly about each of the overdrives. Compare the overdrive. Not the turret. I can put any turret with any hull. Do you not get that wolverine? Hunter does many things: i.e. drops a flag of opponent. In defense of capture the flag or assault mode... no other hull on defense does what hunter does. In team game. Ok lets talk about your team game scenario. I have titan ok... great. I put up a dome right on top of my flag. im just to the left of the flag. A hunter makes its way over top from some area that we dont haev line of sight. SO yes, we have a dome, but the hunter chooses a route that we cant shoot at from the dome. Then in range of us and the flag, it zaps us. We are frozen for 3 seconds. Hunter scores. So you are right. Each overdrive is good fo rcertain areas. The scary thing is how often hunter just wrecks the game. Drop a rugby? Drop a flag? I mean, we are already at half game modes. What about the titan that defends in packs, and the hunter that attacks in packs. We can each go back at each other where yes, the hunter when outnumbered 4 to 1 lose! Omg wolverine, you mean in an example when you give opponents 4 tanks, and you just put hunter against that... hunter loses? OK thanks wolverine so hunter isnt at the point, whre it can 1 v 4 opponents. Im trying to better myself. But I just wrinkle at the examples you chose. In order to argue hunter is ok. You put it agains ta titan and 4 others. Face palm. But lets be fair. 1 titan, with 3 teammates. on defense 1 hunter with 3 team mates on attack. You dont attack right when dome goes up. Every team ive seen when dome goes up says ok... give you your 10 seconds. I agree titan is pretty strong in some ways. But hunter just goes in zaps. then a fellow mammoth goe sin and activiates its ovedrives. Of course i undersatnd complexity. A hunter zaps, and mammoth wipes out all 4. Cool. So lets rewind. Its specifically HOW MUCH does an overdrive too. Im completely everything you said about turret combo. Because just as you say about long range vs hunter. What about a firebird hunter, vs a firebird anything else. The argument doesnt win you the day. Not by a long shot. Turret balance vs turret balance is its own thing. So is turret+ overdrive ablance vs turret +overdrive balance. Just between overdrives through. How much does hunter get as the "defensive overdrive" vs the others? mammoth and titan are both also defesnive. if you say hunter vs mammoth mammoth wins... ok I just dont have mammoth so i cant not be stunned by hunter simply because im a mammoth. But titan... all I get is that Dome. and with it, decreased damaged. Thats what dome is. But Ill tell you this, I still get killed if im not at full heatlh, or even half health. Someone I still get killed my long range turrets even in a dome... maybe its my low rank I dunno. I dont have 4000 hp. But thats all I get from dome. And the team. we get less damage. Wasp is a single gimmick. Mammoth is a single gimmick. Dictator... ok thats a bit right htere. all drugs. wide range? and freze opponents. But you compare the quantity of stuff in any single overdrive to the overdrive of hunter... and clearly maybe you can see what I mean? Serioulsy is one of us just dense? Ill freeze you like dictator, doa dictator range thing where instead of powering up a bunch of teamamtes ill weaken bunch of opponents, oh, and ill freeze like dictotar too, but just 3 times better than it, ill yeah ill drop flags and rugbys, um and disable all drugs of opponents. OK wolverine... so, ill take what youve said at face value... as much as I can... without being like rude... So, every one of my points is valid. You didn't negate a single one. Let's break down the points. Range is relatively short... My apologies. As an overdrive, only hornet has unlimited range... and it just shows all units. Sure useful. but it doesnt attack at infinite range. So let's just understand this to be completely upfront. Mammoth overdrive is what? 5 sec? and Range is what? 0 meters to 5 meters? Wait no... Yeah, its 0-1 Meters. So 22 m vs 0-1 meters. Is the range of wasp 22 m? To be fair I dont actually know... but it isnt. So hunter already has 2 of these guys beat. Not only on range, but on usability. Mammoth can kill everything at 0 m, and so can wasp kinda.... but hunter is like instant 22 m radius death. This scope is unparalleled. And don't pretend you are dumb. You understand I'm wrecking your argument right now. Titan... sure my dome has range. I get a whole dome. 20 m range... um sure yeah something liek that. It even lasts for like ... a whole while. And reduces damage. But oh wait... hunter just instantly disables it... and does all the above... So, I'll come back to another of your points later on. But titan disabled. Wasp bomb disabled. Um so not great start. Dictator? well sure activiate all abilities and for all players in a decent range. And you freeze some oppnents. So maybe, maybe, we could give dictator and hunter some kind of a comparison? But to be fair.... hunter does way more than dictator. Viking, ok hunter doesnt do stuff against viking. Im nto really sure. Viking is strong sure. So in this part here... I'm sorry. I don't see the range of 22 m is wow. YOU MEAN IT DOESNT HAVE 150 M RANGE? Respectifully what are you implying? It's ONLY 22 METERS!! Thats my point bud... 22 m is Strong. Not weakness. ok so this is a write off. Point 2... obstacles. Obstacles blocking it, ill keep an eye out on how to use this... but no this isnt a weakness. Just activate it... like many do in range. Wait, I just wanted to be clear first, if a mammoth activates its overdrive with an obstacle between you and it, does a mammoth still kill you between the obstacle and itself? Er wait... if I'm a titan, and i activate my dome, then try to aim for someone behind an obstacle, the dome doesnt let me hit them? So the point here about the "weakness" of hunter. Is that an obstacle.... is an obstacle. Dude... PUH lease. But remember I'm just being respectful. Please just realize what you just said. You just said that an obstacle is an obstacle. Are you saying that hunter should over write obstacles? Are we going for more magnum level game breaking over poweredness? sigh Point 3. Has a one second delay. What is the average damage output of any weapon in 1 second. If you are at full health, like what, a few weapons have chance to one shot you? no lock on. Does a wasp have a one second count down? Even viking makes the alarm letting you know its powering up. Um. the one second delay isnt really a weakness? its just what it is. Wasp has a count down. I dont see that many hunters getting killed in the one second between activation and effect. Especially if they do it in a way that you just cant kil them in that time. It's effect, even with the 1 secodn delay... i mean come wolverine. This isnt a weakness. It's a delay sure, but any competent player can be like, ok so 1 second delay. You can even time this to an advantage. Presss a button while inside a cover behidn things, fly out in the open then bam! Instant effect and disable everybody. Sorry this isnt weakness... but maybe it is some attempt at a balance? maybe? But... no everything I said was not countered by a 1 second delayed. Waiting for something releveant.... Point 4 Does not work on all ODs. No. just the ones that kinda matter, and that you utterly have neutered along with a host of other things. Ok ill even jsut give you this one so you actually get 1 point in. So hunter cripples not all ODs. Just some. On top of all the stuff I wrote BEFORE that fact it cripples others ODs. It cant stop a viking, mammoth, hornet, and dictator? I mean... what does this even prove to counter my point. I ll give you what you said. It doesnt cripple all ODs. no... so what? Point 5. of course It's over powered... if you use it... you love it. why would you regret a power machine that kills everything. Maf, That picture of range literally made me blow a fuse. It was like hunter was in the room, went off, and turned me off. I had a 5 min recharge while replacing the fuse... and now I'm left stunned. Like is this gonna be fixed? What is going on with hunter.... If I compare hunter to any other overdrive... the list of things the other overdrives do... is basically nothing compared to this thing. I just don't find the tanki appeal anymore. Too much going against it for me.
