Has anyone got the Strict Ammunition Load augment ? I believe it was available for purchase months ago in a package. A certain player (name ending in ....java) I've come across has this and can get 40+ kills in a match using ares + thunder + brutus. He ignores match objectives.
-
Saw him in a few matches only with the hammer and dictator combo.

Buyers probably have access to most hard to come by turret augments so most likely, he has access to that on isida, paired with defender on the hull. Any turret with OP augments (EMP, AP, Blunderbuss, Magnetron, etc) will give you a good advantage. As f2p, I like smoky with cryo, hammer with slugger, rico with minus field and thunder with adrenaline. Those, I find are suitable for most game modes. I don't camp for kills so I can't comment on turrets suitable for that task.

Magnum is hard to use even with augments. It takes too long to reload. Pair it with an OP drone and you may do OK in certain battle modes. Check out boris4311 on the profile page. I see him using isida in bigger maps. With the current turret list, you can find better choices.

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
NooNooHead replied to TheCongoSpider in Game Discussion
It is important to recognize this early on. The first thing you should do is check the team composition. If the group is on the other side, I'll say 'Hi' and 'Bye'. Of course, if they are on your side, you probably won't get top 3 but you will have an easier time conserving your resources. One thing I noticed is that even if you have two powerful groups in the battle, once a side gets on top, the other side will fold. Even p2w don't like getting owned. -

Did you play for 10 years since you are still at first lieutenant with this account? -
Yes, this is the stupidest thing from a teammate. Good chance you will be frustrated in a demolition derby with teammates so leave early. Lag, poor driving skills, can't turn turret, lazy, whatever. Your team will probably lose anyways.

Hi Congo Spider. Do you like to chit chat in a battle? I tried to engage you a few times. Now, back to the topic. I only use adrenaline with smoky and it is alright. Tanki is not balanced in many ways and I don't think changing smoky or critical hits will fix many things. Smoky still lacks the punch to finish off somebody quickly so if you're playing for kills, pick something else. As with all turrets, pick one that has the least resistance on the enemy side and you will move your score up a notch. Use any turret with booster and you can conceal a lot of weaknesses. But I guess you already know that. -
I should have said, 'I agree with Crossbone about luckylook500's account being dead'.

You will have lots of problems with this account with the stats in your profile unless you want to spend $. Your problems will be compounded the higher you move up the ranks. You can park this account and use the mobile version to collect free containers and crystals to give yourself a better fighting chance down the road. Start a new account and make sure you equipment is closer to your rank. Good luck.

For daily missions, I always change them to something easier for me, like pick up supplies, finish 2 battles, use OD 10 times, get 1600 crystals, etc. 2/3 of weekly missions are easy once you get the daily ones going. I still like the deal damage missions but now I just do the minimum if possible. I leave battles early if I see the other side is much better. I may also leave if I see protection is heavy against my top 3 turrets. Too many campers on my side, I will leave too. For the last challenge, the special missions were tough, 30K points and 300 OD. I was lucky to discover the team juggernaut rugby mission helped move the needle quite a bit. I probably spent more than 5 hours on that weekend to get both special missions to a reasonable level.
-
I find defender and booster necessary to complete the tougher missions. These drones are relatively cheap and accessible. I suggest you get one or the other and start to MU. You will be at a big disadvantage against someone with either one.
-
I finished the last challenge and there is no room for error at the 4K stars level. I got consecutive weekly finish in the top 3 and missed completing one on time. Maybe a break at this time is good.

The game is as p2w as ever. You have done well to kill these GS9999s. However, with a GS in the 5500, you will find it hard to compete and finish MMs or challenges. These are the sources of rewards for f2p along with free containers. If you find the going gets tough, perhaps you can do what some f2p are doing. Park your tank and collect the daily container until you can at least get something decent. On the other hand, if you can consistently get a score of 200+ in MM, then keep doing what you're doing.

At some point, it will be difficult to make progress mastering only one turret, in particular, shaft. It will limit your role and battle modes. Pick a medium hull and try out the different turrets. Focus on a few that will let you complete your missions and challenges.
