Hi. For those who do not know me on this forum I used to play this game a lot back in the day. Anyways, I am once again creating another thread to complain about the nature of the game, as I decided to play the game on its birthday for old times sake but during multiple gaming sessions (including logging off, using different browser and computer), I had an issue where the camera angle didn't move with the rotation of the turret. It was locked into only one direction, which was the direction that my tank was facing when it spawned in the first time. This is dumb. -
I came back to play for a bit recently and the rugby juggernaut mode was actually quite fun, especially when compared to matchmaking battles. I think the dynamics of rugby juggernaut demonstrates how Tanki battles should be, and I really disliked how the normal battles were like. 1) Minimal risk of being one shot. The problem with MM matches is that there are now so many ways to be one-shot killed by many different turrets due to new alterations, the ability to double the double power, and turrets that I do not know the name of. The gameplay is better when it isn't too easy to be killed for simply going out in the open. High frequency of one-shot deaths can lead to loops of frustrations and can discourage going for the objectives (e.g. being aggressive and trying to capture a flag instead of making sure you're not killed) 2) More skill-dependent. I don't appreciate how matchmaking battles has moved towards an extreme where in order to avoid the outcome above of being one-shotted, you need a 50% protection module plus double double armor and then some kind of fully-upgraded drone that helps facilitate this process. I felt that I could consistently break top 3 in rugby juggernaut, whereas in regular battles I always feel outclassed and in the bottom 3 because I do not have the means to perform well (very bad for retaining older players... assuming that is still a goal of the devs). 3) Less drugging. Although in terms of balance, it should in theory be the same, but I think the old equilibrium in which few people drug is better than the current equilibrium in which everyone must drug in order to ensure survival. The gameplay just gets so tiring when people are constantly drugging from the moment they spawn, instead of only using them once they take the enemy's flag, which was how it was back in the ay. 4) More objective-focused. It was nice to have a fast-paced mode where most people were involved with playing the objective (the rugby) instead of just trying to spawn kill opponents. So, in short, less toxic gameplay, more teamwork, and less extremes in terms of equipment (like no getting one shot but also no requirement that you have 50% protection module + quadruple armor) makes for better gameplay.

So I went and bought the 80% discount of 1 container in the shop, which costed like 1.3k crystals. And then I got back 1k crystals. I've noticed that containers have been nerfed quite a bit recently (well at least relative to the last time I opened the game), so I'm thinking like if 1 container is pretty much guaranteed to give me either 1k crystals or some small heap of supplies (which at this point have 0 value since they are already overly saturated in the game at this point), I'm essentially expected to waste crystals on spending crystals on the container. If you also note that I bought that container at an 80% discount, then that makes buying containers extremely -EV. The odds of me actually pulling something (let's say some cosmetic which doesn't effect gameplay at all but derives its value from just looking cool) of some amount worth is so low that relative to its value, I don't think really justifies purchasing the containers with crystals. In other words, it's a very bad idea to spend crystals buying containers in bulk hoping that the law of large numbers will help you eventually pull something worth your time and money. TL;DR: Container bad

I'm firmly opposed to adding more ranks past legend. Moreover, I think that the difference between a Legend 1 vs like one of those uber legends is that Legend 1 probably has 1 to 3 competitive combos at that level, while uber legends have pretty much completed garages. The only imbalance is that uber legends have protection module advantages over the Legend 1s who don't really have many options to stay competitive, but otherwise they can compete on a fairly even playing field as long as the Legend 1 is restricted to using whatever his most upgraded equipment are. I think we should instead rework protection modules.

I think that we should: Multiply Gold Boxes' values and drop rates by tenfold. Decrease all prices by 50% in the garage and in the shop. Triple battle funds. Allow the refunding and/or selling of items that we bought but ended up not liking from the garage. Revert TO back to its 2013 form, and the ability to nullify any new updates afterwards as a personalized choice for each player. Having more 70% discounts and increase the number of bundles. Rename Tanki Online to Tanki X.

An opinion on the balance of a turret is automatically idiotic if it ever mentions "well it's not that bad if you use protection modules."

It's been nearly 5 years since the Android version was released.

I would like to get back in the game, but I think these days I can only see myself playing the game if I were outside or waiting for something and just happened to have time to be on my phone. TO Mobile has been out on android for a few years now; I think it is time that TO expands to iOS.

The only time that's not wasted is when you're wasted all the time. Go outside, meet some friends, hug them kiss them party with them.

That's honestly really depressing. A worse fate than nihilism.
