Oh dang! I thought it was more like there's a site you keep open that automatically translates it...Sheesh. you gotta take a screenshot, save that to your desktop then post to that link you typed in just to see the translation? That seems like a lot of work during a battle, lol.

Totally agree with what you said regarding chat...Funny, i have had the same thought about getting some kind of automatic translation entered into game chat, or at least the ability to copy and paste in game chat into google translate to understand what was written...Did i read this correct? You have a method that can translate the in game chat for you? Please please tell me more how this works and how i can get it on my end? Assuming tanki ever brings back the chat ?

Getting rid of chat is really silly. It's about the only way players/friends can communicate. Aside from that, i was hoping for the day that Tanki enables copy and paste in chat so players from different countries can easierly communicate by translating with google.

I for some reason am not a fan of the new HTML5. The flash desktop client has been giving me a lot of issues lately which i cannot seem to resolve, even though i believe it's on Tankis end...Just curious if there is still a direct link i can use to play tankionline flash say via Firefox? Thanks...

If i go to https://tankionline.com/en/ and click download, it donwloads the regular one i have been using for a while. I don't see an HTM5 version/option. I know playing on a browser has way different graphics and features than the desktop client. I really don't know what the issue is I'm having, but I'm thinking it's on Tankis end. Seems i can't load certain map games, yet others load fine.

When you say use "htm5" are you referring to going on a browser? Or is there a current desktop client for the html5? It's a weird glitch going on here the past few days. I'm realizing now that if I'm in one map playing a game, and i go back to the general game menu of open maps, the game won't load if i try to enter a different map, but if i enter another game with the same map it loads...So weird

I believe i use the flash version. I just tried clearing it, but that still doesn't fix the problem. I'm still not able to get into most games. It barely gets to the main menu with all the open games. If i click on a game, screen still goes grey for a few seconds and then to the loading screen which loads and loads and loads with no entry to game...This is so frustrating as I'm not sure if it's on my end or Tankis. Nothing really changed on my end so I'm not sure what to do. Was working just fine up to a few days ago.

Anyone else having issues with the desktop client? It will load to the main menu with the list of all current active games, but i can barely get into a game. When i click to go into a game the screen will go grey for a good few seconds, then it will show the loading screen but will never actually take me into the game. I tried uninstalling and re installing the game, i reset my computer, reset the modem, but nothing. I know recently there was a Windows update, i wonder if it had something to do with it? Does Tanki have issues running if Windows Defender Firewall is set to on? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks...?

So I'm sure we've all been there. We join a game, and we have teammates or opposing players from other countries who start typing in different languages and we get frustrated because we have no idea what they're saying. I think it's time Tanki invents some kind of in game chat, where let's say my main language is English, which it is, any other player that writes in another language, the translator would automatically do it's best to translate it into English. And vice versa, if i wrote something in English, someone in Russia or any other country could have their setting set to translate everything that isn't their language into their actual language so they can understand. So what do you guys think of something like this? ?
