  1. I don't wanna bother searching for the thread about this update...but why the heck do tanks/turrets that aren't fully upgraded look fully upgraded??? I mostly play on my alt account, but seriously, WHAT?!

I genuinely laughed at the absurdity of visualizing a battle like that...I can't even imagine how frustrating it must be to be virtually "pinned" down from the start of a game to the end of it. Devs drinking vodka going, "State of the game is fine." LOL okay.

Shows there's either a a GREATER disconnect between the Devs and the playerbase than originally thought, OR blatant ignorance. Either way, that's a wild assumption for them to have with regards to the "chaos". Interesting point that you made. And it appears that Hornet's OD is even more powerful than even I had initially thought of...I mostly play on my low ranked alt, and I was under the impression that it just allowed you to see the outlines of enemy players, giving away their position and such...a lack of thorough research on my part; I'm still very much behind on the current state of things. But I can 100% get behind Hornet being the "poster boy" of TO and I can see why everyone's "gripes" or what have you, have gone through to no avail. After all, it has done THAT much for the game...okay then...

I find it hilarious that you perpetuate the idea that supplies are something that's being exploited JUST BECAUSE of Hornet's OD when supplies have been (no matter where you are on that topic alone) a "thing" on their own. I have to agree with Double-6 and say that OD's need to find the door (it's not a far-fetched idea; if you can't really balance them or ignore issues like everyone seems to mention Hornet's OD being THAT much more powerful, so why continue to allow them to stay in the game???? Not to say that's where he's coming from, but that's my outlook on it), and I'm not even a buyer, so don't slap that label on me and you can't assume that everyone who objects your opinion is such. That just makes you look like a bit of a muppet. But, the current environment of this game is very disturbing at the very least. It's not just the OD's, there's a bigger picture here. If I had anything to do with development, I'd scrap everything and rebuild. Sure there's gonna have to be some form of monetization for example, but would it be as predatory and arbitrary as current? Nah. Would being a "buyer" give you such a significant edge over what MOST of the community is made up of; F2P? Nope. Would I be more willing to listen to every corner of the community and not just the ones who bring money to the table? No, because this platform is supposed to be for EVERYONE to enjoy. I think the devs have their priorities mixed up, and have had them mixed up for far too long and it needs to end, somewhere.

Which I think is still a stupid idea to go forward with.
  6. Taking away the player's ability to be critical and skeptical about the questionable practices within this entire community is an abuse of power and should be called out every time. But this isn't news to me, mods of all sorts were corrupt or even just going beyond their limits and had "skeletons in the closet" even back in my days as a Consultant; and that was back in 2014 or so. Even now, I still talk to some of the more honest of ex-staff members like MizARee and even she caught wind of it a long time ago. Honestly a lot of these people now are lucky I don't recognize their usernames now, be it due to changes or what ever. But it's like a clown house in here nowadays. Just because you bear a flashy nametag and icon, it ain't suddenly freeing you and making you a savior.
  7. That's what they claimed they removed them for in the beginning...I know you remember that lol there is some truth to that, and it may prove to even be more true at this stage of the game where nobody plays as a team anymore.
  8. Magnum reminds me of artillery from World of Tanks. Annoying, overpowered, name it. Granted, I don't know too much about Magnum other than the direct comparison I just made...I have one question: Does anything obstruct it's firing arc? Seems to me they hit you from everywhere. And the alteration I'm most familiar with is when it drops mines where it fires...like what?????? On to the cons you mentioned...I have to agree that switching from the MU system to this idiotic MK system has made things a lot more complicated AND more expensive, and with other factors involved, unwary players may very well be driven to whip out the credit card. I don't know what to really say about "Tankoins" other than in my mind, I think they're kinda whack. And considering the prices they have some stuff in the garage/shop or whatever for TKs, it's kind of absurd. Just gotta hope I get lucky to get enough TKs to buy something? I'll pass. It's funny how alterations got moved to containers (as if they'd get away with that), then when they get brought back in the garage; the price gets hijacked, lol Idk who's making these ridiculous decisions like THAT, but omg. They applied a "one size fits all" with removing funds from format battles. Okay so what a group of people were abusing the system. Isn't that what banning people is for? Why the hell does everyone have to suffer due to the actions of a few clowns?

I think people are aware of the inevitable end of Flash. I don't blame them for liking it more tbh; I personally do, but my accounts don't work on there unfortunately. For me, HTML5 has way too much going on. I know it's still in it's early days, but it's cluttered to hell and I hope over time it's gets simplified. I dread having to deal with HTML5 when I actually decide to play and right now it's just one of those things I don't enjoy currently. But with that said, again, I don't believe people are ignoring the fact that Flash is about to go out the door, and I believe they understand why no work will be put into it.

Only thing I saw that was progress was rank limits changed in MM...
  11. Might just be 3 seconds, but if said enemy player isn't alone, you'll die fairly quickly. At least, that's what I've seen lol IDK. And IMO them adding in an alt specifically to counter Hunter's OD tells me that it's a "problem" if you wanna call it that...and the devs aren't even sure how to "correct" it. That bug is pretty annoying...but I usually fix it by self-destructing and it's solved...rarely do I have to refresh, but it is an issue that needs to be addressed and fixed
  12. It's not a matter of me being good or not, but if we're taking that into account, I'm decent. I have my gripes about the current situation of this game as I'm a fairly "old" player as well. It's only natural, really. But that's a problem lol. Maybe if I didn't have to deal with screwed up one-sided battles, I'd have less to make noise about, lol. And to be fair, I don't come in contact with many Hunter players; but my opinion on it's OD isn't changing. You may be correct on that, but there's two issues. One: Can you live long enough to activate your own OD once you get immobilized? From the bit of experience I've had, you surviving comes down to a few factors: A "bad" player, or maybe you have teammates that give you some covering fire outside of Hunter's range. Two: With as many alts that there are in the game, settling down on immunity seems like a "tough spot" for some people, at least that's what I'm thinking.
  13. Still doesn't change the fact that Hunter's OD is a simple, "I push a button and win" type of thing. Even in those "clutch" times. Get good or get out, that's how I see it. Don't need OD bs, in my opinion anyway.

Dude...you just took me WAY back with that combo...it looks so beautiful, even now.
  15. Gauss is a powercreep to Thunder. Thunder could've been reworked and we'd have one less turret added into the game, honestly. Gauss is actually a more "practical" railgun too if you're even familiar with what it actually is so basically it's Thunder and Rail combined lol the devs tried to be sneaky with it, but I just had an epiphany about it.
