No worries. As soon as I noticed him arguing like that, I knew that he's the type where you just have to ignore and walk away. Let's stop it here.

Excuse me again, a good person does show off their work to others, and not share with them the original files. I am not going to make something for my self, get tired working on it for hours, then drop it to someone calling me selfish just because I showed it off to them. Don't expect people to share their stuff with you just because you told them to. This section is called "Creativity" and the first post in this topic says "Though you are free to post your work in any capacity at any time" Oh hey Tanki Online is selfish because they are not sharing their game code with us so we can hack the game and maybe make a copy out of yeah? So selfish Tanki.
-
Excuse me but how is this selfish? You're being greedy here. The guy made the models himself, he didn't steal them from Tanki X files like how we want to.
-
Hmm I'll check it again later.

I tried ripping with Ninja Ripper and I only get a logfile. :/

I am 18 right now, and I am studying to become....... an English teacher. xD In my country there's no universities for 3D modelling or game stuff. :/ But I am planning to use my love and passion for these things as part time. Will see about that, thanks for sharing!

Ooooo that is interesting. I learnt Blender in home through videos from YouTube. I want to learn Unity as well, but gonna leave that for another time. Actually I learnt Unity before, and made 2 games following tutorials, but then stopped learning it as I had no time for it. It's interesting to be honest.

Eh it's just 900 KB for me. .__. For me, the cache size can get to 1 GB, so that is probably where all the stuff are hiding.
-
I used exactly the same, it's actually called Unity Assets Explorer, and the .asset files have VERY low size, which means they don't contain any models. I searched around in the internet on how to rip the models from Unity cache, I found a way, but it didn't work too. I'd love to get them just to get an idea on how they're made so I can improve my modelling knowledge and skills. I also love to just look at how tanks in 3D models.

You're welcome. Nope I don't have them, but just look at how TX textures are compared to TO. TO models have A LOT of flat surfaces, even the tracks are just part of the main hull. But in TX, the tracks are alone, wheels are alone, each piece of armor on the hull is alone BUT glued together to make a hull. That is what makes the model beautiful. Lots of pieces glued together. :) EDIT: I tried ripping the models, but failed as well.

There's difference between "module" and "model" We're talking about models here. Anyways texturing in this TO is very basic actually as far as I have seen from Tank Testing Tool and people who create custom paints. But in TX it's complicated.
-
I don't think it will be hard to make at least just the basic texture (I mean like the basic green color in TO for example, instead of Clay paint maybe) that is what I want to learn, then I will move to how to make some nice paints. I am looking so forward for the last exam (Monday) to start all of this adventure.
-
The process of texturing I think it's simple, I still don't understand it because I didn't watch enough videos. BUT what I meant is the process of MAKING the textures. That is something I have zero experience with.
-
I got TX beta invitation as well. I will make TO related stuff once I learn texturing after final exams. :) Thanks for the idea and the offer to help! Really appreciate the support. Oh I also already got a topic in the creativity section, but it isn't getting any comments or posts so I stopped updating it. :P

Thanks for your feedback! :D

Haha. Well I render a scene/picture from Blender, then put it in After Effects, use a plugin for lens flares (lights) that I........ stole... And ta-da! I never used C4D. I don't know if you can put Lens flares from Blender directly, I saw people making rigs for lens flares in Blender before, but didn't test them my self.
-
Ah the lights are made with After Effects. :P

Blender 3D. Free software for 3D stuff.
