Actually, no. I was thinking Freeze could turn into a chemical weapon that launches acid and the cryomines can be bought as supplies in the garage for ~250 crystals each.

Because it doesn't make a lot of sense, as you can't blow up a tank by dumping liquid nitrogen on it. I proposed having an ice mine setup where tanks can freeze nearly completely when the mine is driven over.

Freeze could spray acid, which may not have any slowing effect but may continue to deal high damage long after the shooter stops.

Freeze is one of the more popular turrets in Tanki Online. A turret of choice for internationally ranked players, Freeze is known for its handy freezing effect and with a DPS of 450 hp/ sec at base mk1 and 900 at a fully upgraded mk7, it makes no sense when considered that dousing a tank in cryogenic liquids won't exactly destroy it. Freeze would be better suited as a cryogenic landmine, meaning that tanks that drive over a deployed cryomine would take damage and be rendered almost immobile for several seconds. For those of you that played Tanki X, the idea I'm proposing resembles the "Ice Trap" module. Tanki Online cryomines could be purchased in the garage for an elevated price, say 250 crystals each at the rank of Warrant Officer 1. These could be placed around flag bases in CTF and ASL or around points in CP as a way to slow enemy flag carriers down so allied tanks can be given ample time to apprehend the intruder and destroy it. One of the more realistic (current) alterations for Freeze is the "Corrosive mix" alteration that switches out the cooling agent for an acidic substance. Freeze could be revamped and reintroduced to the game as a chemical acid-sprayer type weapon, the first of its kind in Tanki Online.
