If you buy a drone kit or a bundle that contains a drone you already own, then nothing will happen to it. Your drone will still remain the same level, and you will not get any compensation.

When you equip Booster, Defender, Trickster, Crisis or Hyperion, they all use extra supplies. 
For Booster - It uses 2 extra Boosted Damages, for a total of 3 per activation.
For Defender - It uses 2 extra Boosted Armors, for a total of 3 per activation.
For Trickster - It uses 2 extra Speed Boosts, for a total of 3 per activation.
For Crisis - It uses 2 extra of the supply you activated. If you activated Boosted Damage, it uses 2 extra, for a total of 3.
For Hyperion - It uses 2 extra of the supply you activated. If you activated Boosted Damage, it uses 2 extra, for a total of 3.

This also happened to me before, but don't worry, you will get them back. 
Most of the time, refreshing your client/entering a battle would fix it.

As of July 13, 2016, paints and protections are now 2 completely different things. 
Paints are now purely a cosmetic item, and protections are not linked with paints in any way.
You can read more about the Paint Separation Update here.
The video you also linked is quite old, as it is from 2015. Many things have changed in the game since 2015, for more information about all the different changes, I suggest you read the Patch Notes.

Are you talking about the mobile version? There are in game ads in the mobile version, and they will appear when you open up Tanki Online on mobile.
Unfortunately, you can't permanently remove them, but there is a "X" mark on the right corner, and you can close out of it.

Currently Ultra Skins are not obtainable from Skin Containers, the only way to obtain them is through Ultra Containers. 
We don't have any info why it's this way, only the developers know.
I am guessing that it's because Ultra Skins have better graphics, which is why it is not included in Skin Containers.

When you use the Trickster drone, you will get 10 points for every ally you share the effect of the drone.
If are there are 2 allies within the drones range, when you use Speed Boost, it cancel your Supply cool-down and share that effect with the 2 allies. After that process, you will receive 20 Battle points (2*10)

If you have equipped Crisis drone, and you activate Dictator Overdrive, you will only receive the repair kit supply, and does not affect the other supply you are currently using.

The current way of obtaining a Legacy skin is through a Skin Container, which can be obtained by completing a Challenge with and purchasing a battle pass. Although when you open a Skin Container, the skin you get is random. You can also go to the Shop Showcase and buy it for Tankions when it's on sale.

Defender (Booster, and Crisis) uses 3 supplies when you use the corresponding supply. Meaning it uses 2 additional supplies. If you have equipped Defender, everytime you use Double Armor, you will use 3 Double Armors total.
If you have no Double Armor, then you will not be able to activate Defender drone. Note: Defender drone is only activated when you use Double Armor, so if you have no Double Armors, you can not activate Defender, but you can still equip it.
If you have less than 3 Double Armors, you will still be able to activate the drone, and it will consume as much Double Armor as possible.

There are two possible things that might have happened to your PC. 
1. You have downloaded Tanki that might have virus for some reason (Likely not)
2. You have previously downloaded a file that had a virus. The scammers make the virus seem like it's Antivirus, but it actually a virus. 
Note: If you have not previously installed a secure and reliable Antivirus, most likely it's the 2nd situation. If you have not installed Anitvirus, I would only trust Windows Defender.
It might not be the best help, sorry if this is kind of comfusing. If you can, please try to attach a screenshot.

The Mechanic Drone grants 100 instant bonus HP at Level 0, and goes up to 500 instant bonus HP when at Level 20.

This drone increases instant repair kit heal, not the whole repair kit duration. So, for example you are using Mammoth Mk1, you have 2000 HP. You get damaged and only have 500 HP left.
 
If you DON'T have Mechanic drone equipped, you will instantly heal 1000 HP, and over the course of 3 seconds, you will heal an additional 3000 HP or until your HP bar is full.
 
With Level 0 Mechanic drone equipped, when you use repair kit, you will instantly heal 1100 HP, but it does not increase the heal over the course of 3 seconds, as you can only heal until your HP bar is full. You will also share this effect with nearby allies.
