Quite disappointed that Tanki decided to acknowledge that a turn was clearly swayed unfairly by this action but chose not to adjust the points or territories to reflect the actual outcomes. Even just adjusting what was directly affected by it, which is super easy to track and which Tanki is fully aware of, would have made sense. We got so close to a fair response and then just... didn't get one. I'll kist keep playing from here, because what else am I going to do, but man. Not what my call would have been.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Hi everyone! It's been a fun eight years with Tanki Online, and it is finally time for me to retire from the game and from the Wiki Editor team. There are so many people who have made my time here fun and worthwhile that I can't possibly thank them all, but I do want to give huge shoutouts to @StealthMasterX, @Hex, and @Stratosphere for taking me onto the team to edit the wiki, for encouraging me as I developed my writing and a bit of technical expertise, and for some hugely fun (if unbalanced) matchmaking battles when Railgun's EMP Rounds first came out. I had endless fun reading the wiki in my early days of playing and learning about the game, and I'm so glad I got to leave my mark (well, 3520 marks!) on it during my roughly year-and-a-half stretch as an editor. When I first started thinking about retiring, I was reluctant to let my ability to edit go since I had put so much work into it, but after watching @Apost, @Arcade, @Dosheg, and @emrakul do their thing for a while, I feel I am leaving it in very capable hands. So, that's that! The next steps of my life are calling, as they always eventually do, and I feel ready (or I guess, as ready as anyone is) to go forwards and meet them. Goodbye, Tanki Online! Thanks for the good times.? - kydapoot- 9 replies

I like it better, but since the recent change to EMP that it doesn't reset repair kits, EMP rail has gotten to be quite powerful again too. Just depends on your style and what your enemies are protected against
-
Believe me, Incendiary railgun holds up at legend ranks - yeah some people have immunity, but these days there are so many other effects - EMP most prominently - that people need to protect themselves against that they don't use it. I use the augment all the time and it's by far my favorite one for rail.

The game has evolved a lot since it's earlier days when supplies were something of a luxury. They're now much easier to obtain, but the flipside of this is that you *must* use them in order to keep up in battles. If you aren't using many supplies, it's not surprising that your tank and turret will be much weaker than the competition. As for how it's possible, the first reason is that, as I mentioned earlier, supplies are super accessible nowadays, so people have a lot of them at their disposal. The main way you can easily get more of them is by opening containers and weekly containers, which you can get for completing missions. A more recent and less well-known way is by visiting the "Showcase" section of the Shop. There, once a day you can buy 30 of each supply at a 95% discount. The second reason is drones. Though you mentioned that the effects don't seem to be tied to a drone, keep in mind in most cases, people are in fact wearing a drone, if only just Brutus, which like all drones makes their supplies more powerful than those of people not using a drone. Hyperion in particular is deceptively powerful, because while at any given moment it doesn't look like it's doing anything, it's in fact allowing full supplies to be active on the user's tank nearly all the time. There are other drones with weaker but similar effects, reducing cooldowns or replenishing durations. Also, some drones allow teammates to share supplies with each other, so one person using that drone in a group can deck out the whole bunch with that row of lights. As for the wasps, best advice I have is: Use a hull with an overdrive that can destroy the bomb itself (Hunter, Mammoth,Titan) or one that can prevent or delay their overdrive activation (Hunter, Paladin, Hopper). Lead your shots. Most turrets don't have bullets that travel instantly, so a fast and small wasp is going to be much harder to hit than a heavy hull unless you aim a bit in front of where they're going.

I definitely agree! At least before I got Shaft Healing Emitters, Isida Adrenaline was my go-to in team battles, even when Vampire Nanbots was an option.

The containers and the communication are appreciated!

My best guess is that, as a clan creator, other players are relying on the security of your account. If you're hacked, they can get kicked or demoted, harassed, etc. On the other hand, the fourth protection module is just a you thing. It's a good idea to have 2fa, but it's not required because a compromise to your account's security only affects you in that cast.

Magnum Automated gunpowder loading mechanism alteration, why it even exist?

nikunj04's answer is accurate, but I wanted to add that more broadly, the purpose of this augment is to let you repeatedly send off high-power shots - most likely 100% - from a safe place far from enemies. When you're charging up a lot each time, the faster charging makes up for the longer reload, giving you the advantage of shooting long shots faster. -
I mean, not *purely*. The extra 300 DPS from burning makes for an overall increase in damage of 12.5% at Mk7+, and a higher percent increase at lower upgrade levels (since the burn damage is flat). Plus, you can use Heat Resistance (and double armor/defender) to make it so that you take less burning damage than your opponents. That said, it's for sure not the augment it used to be, and nowadays you're better off with Heat Immunity and Adrenaline, Rubberized Rounds, or Reinforced Aiming Transmission.
