This is the state of Tanki Online: 1. Pony Tail Boy and the Devs totally ignore player input. 2, Inspite all of the great upgrades and new ideas implemented by the all knowing Pony Tail Boy and his Devs minions, the number of players continues to fall. ( That's because most of their ideas and upgrades made the game suck) 3. Pony Tail Boy, the Devs and the owners are now in the squeezing the last bit of cash out of the remaining players mode. 4. The new latest and greatest addition to the game (Ares) is a failure and is attracting no new players and not helping much to retain current players. (It's just a lure to try and make you spend money....see point 3) It's getting close to the bottom boys and girls so enjoy it while it lasts. Oh that's right according to the above poll almost 70% don't like the game much or hate it now. Doesn't sound like winning numbers to me. So I correct myself ... You 30% of current players enjoy it while it lasts. Well that pretty much sums up the state of the game. Goodnight

Once again more bling instead of substance, and not much bling at that. What a crappy website. Really, that was the best that could have been done on such a super secret project? I've seen better websites produced by high school students or even middle school students for that matter. Though I have to admit that there isn't much left to promote from the game. I can hear Pony Tail Boy right now in the meeting that they had on this.: " Well guys we're still losing players even though we've been putting out crappy updates and the HTML5 version is as buggy as a hot day in the swamp, so lets update the web site. Yeah that'll attract more players!......" Give me a break. Sorry Houston we have another failed attempt to improve the game. Oh yeah, sorry, that wasn't done to improve the game. They had a failure to improve the website. They can't even do that right! LOL Peak players hardly breaks 11,000 now and keeps going down. You can see the decline even in the v-logs. There the quality has taken a noticeable dip lately. Budgets must be tightening up with the further loss of players. My advice is : Play while you can (Though I don't know why you would want to). I think they'll be closing up shop in the near future because that website definitely won't attract any new players.

My opinion of the state of the game...mmmm.....in pure numbers.... The game is having a hard time even breaking 10,000 players during peak periods now and keeps going down. That kind of says it all. Good job Pony Tail Boy and your Dev minions.

I think you answered your own question with your comment. It's all about the money now. Pony Tail Boy knows the game is going down the crapper so all he's interested in is getting the last few Rubles he can from the die hard buyers. How do you do it? Let them buy their way to God mode.

I have only a very few words to say. It was a great run while it lasted. I just looked at the last week's averages. The number of players barely breaking 12,000. So sad. The whole way down from a few short years ago when 120000 players online was the norm til now, Pony Tail Boy and his minion Dev's where told over and over again that their great and wonderful updates were driving players away. Players begged and pleaded with them to reverse course to no avail. In a way it is so sad that we were right and Pony Tail Boy has been proven to be the arrogant failure we thought him to be. I wish we had been wrong, but that's not the case. So sad to see such a great game gutted by the short sighted and arrogant "Bleep Bleep's". Good night Tanki, you maybe fading from existence, but you won't be forgotten.

Ah it was so much simpler in the old days where you could pick maps and even name battles. The game was so much fun back then. and you didn't have to wait even 1 minute to get into a match. You could just jump in if there was room. How I miss the days of free choice. Yes back in the good old days when you could even pick servers or change servers if the one you were on was too full. Too bad too bad, how this once great game use to be fun until Pony Tail Boy and his Dev minions ruined the game.
