I’d say this is one of the best events so far. Unlocking an entire department for only 290 rubies (with 40 skills) feels like practically free rewards, requiring just a bit of effort by playing. I’m pretty sure most F2P players have some rubies saved up and can unlock most departments via the gold contract, and then finish the remaining ones with crystals if they find the augment rewards worth it.
The prizes you get here are basically the same as the battle pass rewards at their core, but you also get a lot more. You get more rare keys than you would from the battle pass, plus 5 augments that are really useful, and you get the newest skin in the game, unlike the battle pass where you get skins that have been around for a while.
The golden contract, which costs only 290 rubies, already gives you great rewards. And if you invest a bit more compared to the 700 rubies for the battle pass, you get many extra prizes that are definitely worth it (the total cost to complete the event is around 3,4k rubies).
As a bonus, you can decide if you want to spend rubies, crystals, or a mix of both to unlock everything. You have full control over how much you spend and how many prizes you want to get.
The story and concept behind the event are interesting, fun, and well thought out. Big thumbs up from me! ??
