Wasps with double speed boost and double armor seem to have little trouble getting near the flag or point and dropping their nuke. If a Titan or Hunter isn't there and ready to activate their overdrive in a couple of seconds they might as well not. I know I experience a 3-4 second lag between when I press the fire button or shift key and when it actually happens. I can't even move my Viking more than its tank length before the nuke detonates. I have only witnessed a Titan and Hunter successfully counter a nuke once each. That would be about 1 out of 80 times at best. Revealing enemy positions is good, but the enemy knows its happening plus the snipers that are the real targets there tend to give away their own positions when they fire. The sonar does give a team an advantage, but not like the nuke in CTF, CP and Seige. One nuke can clear out your defense and allow the enemy to take over your base. By the time you take it back they have a lead you can't overtake and they just send in another nuke. Rinse and repeat. Sonar doesn't help you when the enemy has your base.

More than a week ago I started an upgrade on my Magnum from Mk5-6 to Mk5-7. There was a server issue that required an update. I was surprised to discover that my upgrade was "completed" when I got back in. However, I see that my Magnum is still Mk5-6 and the crystals I used to do the upgrade are still gone.

The Hornet is a hull and the Vulcan is a turret. Why do you consider the Hornet's "sonar" to be OP and/or unstoppable? The Wasp's Nuke is totally OP and dominates CTF, CP and Seige.

The Vulcan generates so much lag in the game that I can't fire or even drive my tank and I'm not the only one. When there are 2 or more players continuously firing Vulcans the game is very hard to play. The Vulcan is currently too OP as well. There should be a reload after a certain number of shots. The current unlimited firepower is unfair. Other weapons require a cool down or recharge or reload. Not the Vulcan. That needs to be fixed. Its a machine gun with a high rate of fire. Those use up their ammo quickly, requiring frequent reloads. They also overheat, warp the barrels and lose accuracy. I realize this is a game, but you aren't even trying.

I have been playing Tanki since sometime in 2008. Before the Shaft, Isida, Ricochet, Vulcan, Hammer, Magnum, etc. I have never tried the Magnum with the Hornet. My best hulls are the Viking, Hunter, Dictator and Titan. Franky, I stopped using the Hornet after they rebalanced the hulls and made the Hornet less than it was.The Hornet used to be the best hull in the game. I wasn't happy with some of the changes that were made to the game, so I stopped playing for a couple of years. The focus of the game changed from "Play for Free or Pay to Win" to "Pay to stay relevant". I just got back in a few months ago. There have been some improvements, much less lag, but overall game play isn't as fun as it was and paying to stay relevant is still there to some degree. DD I use frequently and with similar results with the Magnum. Its a whole lot easier to destroy yourself. I find it frustrating to get a direct hit on an enemy wasp that doesn't have double armor and the splash damage destroys my Mk5 Viking and their Wasp is still there. I think they have made the Wasp too OP. I just had my Juggernaut pinned against a wall by a Wasp while we waited for his nuke to go off. Seriously, how can a Wasp do that? The Wasp used to be very fast and very easy to destroy. Now I can barely destroy Mk5 and Mk6 Wasps at all. I have noticed a few Wasps recently that are completely invulnerable to direct hits. Only splash damage counts. As soon as I get my Gauss up to Mk4 I think I will abandon the Magnum.

The Magnum turret is useless for melee and nearly useless for everything else except assisting with a kill or getting lucky and finishing off someone else's target. Splash damage to yourself seems greater than direct hit damage to the opponent. Every time I shoot a tank within splash damage range my tank is destroyed immediately. It is quicker to suicide by shooting a wall with the magnum than hitting the Delete key. One shot and done. That is with my Magnum Mk5-6 and Viking Mk5-6 with full health. The current default setting for elevation angle is useless. I spend too much time resetting my Magnum elevation angle every time I spawn. Default it to 25 or 30 degrees. I usually get destroyed before I can get my magnum reset to 30 degrees. There is no need to have 1 degree increments for adjustment. Maybe 5 degrees. The reload time is much too long. You are a sitting duck after firing. Shot accuracy even with skill is a roll of the dice. It takes 2 or 3 shots to find the range for most targets and rarely does 1 or 2 hits destroy a tank. You carpet bomb an area and hope the enemy doesn't send a tank your way, because you are defenseless.
