A logical consequence of this game "development". Tanki kept increasing the Pay-to-Participate portion. "Older, wiser and better" players left long ago, as they did not plan to "waste" money on games. Player base got younger and younger. They buy everything right away and they find themselves with 9999 gear in no time. Therefore they use brute force, as there is no need and no time to learn skills. When they visit Pro Battles, with their "toys" removed, they can be seen in all their... incapability.

What a circus every battle is. The vast majority of the enemy team is camping near their flag. We have a magnum camper: where does he shoot? As far as possible from their flag. We have an isida and two healing shafts: where do they position themselves in a team attack? In front... Ricochet, with an isida in support, trying a sneaky attack. What does he do? He stops well before massively shooting their base, making sure everyone sees the attack. But I have been told that all these guys have a full garage because they understand the game...

FIRST, again FIRST, one needs to play MM battles to get keys, and through A LOT of keys, really A LOT, you get one Augment. With A LOT of Augments, you finally get an Augment for YOUR tank. So first you need to play HUNDREDS of MM battles WITHOUT augments, and with a limited choice in turrets/hulls/drones. You always talk as if a Free Player STARTS with all augments. Nope, nada, zip. A Free Player wanting the desired augments will have to get crashed for YEARS in MM battles. The only positive side in doing that (for the very few players doing it) is a MAJOR increase in skills because one has to make up with players having 10x stronger equipment. You invested a million crystals and got stacked... you cannot really do much with a million crystals. Just by memory, I think you can increase all your (16+1) protections by 3%, which might be 5% during Christmas. I remember you saying you did not upgrade your protections much, so... no idea what you got stacked with. Not with augments for sure. And you said yourself why you are doing well in MM: you camp (and hide). Enemies will go for flags/points/Jugs and will leave campers pretty much alone. When your team wins, campers get the biggest share. I could not camp even if I wanted, as I do not have neither medium/long range turrets nor heavy hulls.

A Sergeant Major with 4 protections, including Armadillo, Vampire augment and whatever augment is on Ares... With more than half million crystals not used... Guess somehow the game has to retribute its "workers"... Not sure what I would have to be blamed for if, at Legend 31, I do not have any of that! "if you are experienced and strategize": considering that most players have a pretty good garage, this would mean that most players are experienced and pretty clever. Then they show up in the battle and... it is the opposite. How do you explain it? All great economy minds unable to drive a tank. Pressing 1234 rather than picking up a box. Turning the tank rather than the turret. The reality is that everyone is rushing to BUY containers=equipment and none goes through the process of learning skills.

They are all super smart knowing "The Manual". Then, in the battle, all that intelligence is nowhere to be seen. Same thing in the Forum, Battle Chats or video comments. A normal player signs in and starts to play. It won't take long before the Free Player will have to decide between paying for a bunch of containers to reduce the distance with the others or give up. The ones that decided to stay in the game will notice that they got better, but not enough yet. So... more $$$ containers. Once the garage is getting full, and $$$ are not that much required anymore, those same players will come to the Forum saying they are not paying (missing the word "anymore") and teaching "The Manual". PS.: their Manual is - play Missions and Events, which are a complete tragedy if you do not have a full garage. So their Manual starts from the last chapter of the book, missing everything before. And "buy only at -50%!", as if that 20% saving in crystals would bring you more than one or two pieces of equipment in a couple of years.

And my only two turrets are short range, one augment in total, and a Brutus drone ? Very much enough in PRO battles, absolutely useless in MM.

LOL Not turning turrets, not reacting to the sound of the flag, no teamwork, not using the radar, not watching the clock, hiding and camping... I guess this is the way you consider optimum playing... If a team is bad, it is still a team of buyers having 10x stronger equipment than the rare free players, in MM battles. Again, f2players left years ago, way before Pro Battles, matchmaking, augments, etc. At the time WE were fighting the excessive use of supplies, calling them drugs. We lost the fight, the game sticked with buyers and kept verticalizing that trend.

Re-explanation. And this is only for free players, meaning poor garage. The one good thing to be in a losing team, is the hope that most teammates will leave, making it easier to arrive on the TOP 3 for missions. Free players left the game well before PRO battles were created. Buyers struggle in PRO battles, as without most of their OP equipment, lack of skills is too evident.

Yes. In MM-battles after the initial 45 seconds waiting for Jugs, flags and caps to show up, it becomes clear which team will win in between 10 to 120 seconds. Few battles will revert that trend, while most won't. So, no reason to stay in a losing team unless you need to reach the top 3 spots for a mission. In that case one has to hope that most teammates will abandon making it easier to get into the podium. So many dirty tricks to play in a horrible environment made for buyers, just to get few augments.

ALL MM battles (for a free player as me) are literally disgusting. A real torture. Unfortunately it is the only way to hope for few augments that I can use in the enjoyable Pro-Battles.

With my empty garage, getting wrecked by buyers and mostly ending on the bottom of the scoreboard (MM battles), I have no problem being in the winning team. Without camping.

As a Legend 69 I guess you are playing since a very long time, meaning you have been filling most of your garage when everything was x10 times cheaper in terms of crystals. Beside that, you are one of those big-brain Wiki guys knowing all events and stuff. Maybe you even got a freebie here and there ... ? But yes, I bet you did spend few bucks in the game from time to time. You obviously love this game and no free player can love this game.

I am not complaining. I am stating facts. You are young (my child is much older than you) and you brag about your "better" garage, as most youngsters do. Fact is that you are a buyer like most and either ashamed to admit it or thinking that few bucks here and there is not really buying. There is no reason to make my account public: I have two turrets, two hulls, one cheap drone and 3 protection slots, after playing several years. This is how the garage of a rare-to-find free player looks like. And if you think I am a bad player, ask someone doing Pro Battles.

Not sure which contradiction you are pointing out... ... Crisis and Armadillo after 100 hours of game (and 178 Gold Boxes)... What would you know about "free playing"? LOL Thanks I said "many" buyers do not have good K/D, not "all" buyers. Buyers (in MM battles) do not die from me (free player), but MM battles are mostly played by other buyers.

Twins is not mentioned anywhere. - destroy 100 tanks using long range turrets. I do not have them Tankoins: having saved about 2,800 in more than 3 years, I am reluctant to invest 1000 in something I do not know. And not knowing those events/contests I cannot say you are right or wrong. Not at all. In MM battles, I end up shooting with my twins a buyer many times and he never dies. Then he turns around very slowly, shoots me once and I am dead. Even if I manage to kill one, I will die a second later from another buyer. If I get isida, I will never get close enough to someone to try to kill. And none needs to be healed because they all use repair kits. And if you heal the Juggernaut, you will get almost no points. In Pro Battles, with drones and supplies OFF, and augments either ON or OFF, I am always Top of the Table. And in these battles where skills matter, one can clearly see how most players do not have the basics of the game (not turning turrets, not hearing the sound of flags, camping while losing, not reading the radar, not seeing anything sidewise or behind, etc.).

I appreciate the honesty in saying you are a small buyer. If $50+ a month is not considered a buyer, I am guessing you spend more, but I am not interested in the amount. It just confirms what I already know: most players in Tanki Online spend money. What's stopping Joe... these are discussions already explained many times through another guy you were siding with... once again: Joe (or me) have a limited amount of containers from which to get equipment. In the last couple of festivity missions, I got about 100 containers, from which I got 2 augments, none to be applied to the turrets/hulls I own. I have no augment on my isida and I invested 250,000 crystals (minus 30% discount I guess) for my only twins augment. A buyer, who already has most equipment, will keep buying containers or tankoins to get the latest overpowerful equipment. Random players: most players are Russian, so selecting 3 ENG speakers is not a correct way to judge. A small buyer might just go for a Pass, or get the 4 protection modules. I am Legend 30 and I have less turrets/hulls/drones then the 3 guys you visited. Many Buyers do not have good K/D: buying equipment, especially if fast, will make sure that skills are not learnt. That is another point I always make: most players are buyers and unable to play.

Free players abandoned Tanki years ago, as per all game reviews. Current players are either small buyers or heavy buyers. Some are claiming to have become free players, after having bought most of the stuff in the past. Some are claiming to be free players because "five bucks a month is nothing". - Free players would obviously play Pro Battles, while the huge majority plays MM. - Free players have a deserted garage, while the vast majority has all the latest equipment. - Free players would not contribute in Tanki Funds, while the number of participants is always huge. - Free players would complain in the Forum about how the game is Pay-to-Participate (way past P2P), as they did in the past. Now discussions are all about equipment and competitions that Free Players have no idea of. Even when you guys nicely try to help, much appreciated, your point of view is not coming from a Free Player's angle. Whoever called you ultra buyer was a small buyer... F2Ps do not recognize different augments and do not know what helios is...
