Thanks for telling me what it is. I have no idea how powerful other overdrives are but I guess I just don't like the idea of Overdrives. Yes, it would make a lot of sense to deal damage to your own tank and your allies(lesser damage than it does to enemies but at least some damage). I wud suggest the same for other overdrives that can deal damage to enemies like Hopper's overdrive.

Hey! Playing Tanki after many years, I won't say I quite like most of the changes done. I don't think the 100k missing players liked it a lot either.(usually 100k ppl were online on most week days in 2014) But the most unsporting update has to be the Bombs/Explosive. I still haven't figured what this is or how it is deployed but I can tell you one thing that it is not something you would want in a shooting game. The fact that the bomb deals no damage to allies is exceptionally stupid. As long as you don't put negative aspects in such a powerful weapon--it will ruin the game. Players use it anywhere and everywhere they can.

My turrets stopped working today. I lagged for a while because of slow internet but after it became normal then my turret stopped working--it showed no damage points but my hull did work in capturing control points.(And my hull could take damage as well--probably destroyed 30 times before we lost the game--easily cost my team the win bcoz it was very close and went on for like 90 mins.) I don't remember if it happened after I changed my turret from Rico to Twins or before--It did not work even after switching back to Rico... Things became normal in the new game.

5 gold boxes in 3 days--I just equaled my previous record of getting 5 in 10 months I guess. ?

I have caught 3 gold boxes in 3 days--I don't think I got more than 5 gold boxes in my entire career of 10 months between 2014 and 2015. ?

When I got a set of 5 gold boxes in an old container, I thought that I had received 5k crystals--only realized that I was dropping gold boxes when I saw that small notification on top left(It should be at least a little bigger). Luckily I caught my second last gold box, have only one remaining now--would probably drop it when I'm alone. I pressed 6 thinking that it was drone(How the heck does drone work btw?)

Wasn't the whole bar green? I personally never cared even if the bar glowed--but then I did not earn much XP anyway...?

Well almost 6 years (I don't quite remember in which month of 2015 I became a Captain--it was definitely before August 2015 though) Did they really remove the option to attach images through your computer?? ? Why the large messages(like ranking up and gold box announcement) have been reduced to tiny messages with almost no time given to them? I couldn't even take a proper screenshot of me ranking up--probably the first time I couldn't capture it (I wonder if my old screenshots are here on the forum) This game has never been so bad before(they even ruined the forum--It looked better when I last visited in Nov 2020)

We had a "battle collection" from which everyone was given crystals--the winning team got the bigger share. Now everyone gets crystals based on the XP they get in the game and irrespective of which side wins--that sucks.

The Text used to be HUGE--it could have been a player dropped gold box as well(Idk how that works tho). Small maps have basically been killed off? The game looked much better before and also the forum looked much better when it was antique. OLD IS GOLD.

Well, I played the game in 2014-15 and the game has certainly changed a lot.(Yeah I recovered it after over 5 years) The entire look has changed--and not for the better--DID THEY REMOVE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE GOLD BOX?? I literally took a Gold Box today with my teammate busy sniping the enemy--nobody even tried to take the gold box--first time I did not take a screenshot bcoz it did not show for long--as if I had only caught a crystal box or something. Also the random play sucks(also the new battle modes). I used to play only on the Hill, Combe, Arena, Rio and smaller maps bcoz I was never good at long range battles--even with nearly 390k experience I am a sitting duck in these random games with my short range weapons--I literally have not explored more than half of the maps--and I don't think I will this random gameplay. I would probably be levelling up after nearly 6 years...
