I don't really see the problem. The OD recharges really slowly, and driver doesn't help enough, it seems. Not only that, Viking needs to survive the whole time to deal max damage. Imo hopper is probably more annoying, simply because of the flying glitch( not the hulls fault, hope it gets patched soon).

Well, In my opinion, that is a terrible way to rack up kills with Gauss, though it really requires no skill.
-
Well, I think it should be kept like that that, but maybe make it a projectile instead of hitscan.
-
Yeah, I agree, but about the oneshotting part, that really is on no fault of Gauss. Its then on booster and boosted damage.

To make it more fair in lower tiers.

In the lower tiers, its really really easy to get splash kills, though when you move up the splash doesn't help as much. Thats why Gauss is so widely used in lower tiers.

An indicator would be nice, but shouldn't be too visible. Maybe a faint tracer on your tank?

Yes, but having a bunch of owls doesn't mean its weak(or not OP), though it decreases it's success.
-
Even more Owls than Falcons?

Ah... played a couple rounds with a camping Gauss technique, got this 13:1, even though I joined in the last 2 minutes, mode was TDM, map was Serpuhov. Gauss needs a splash radius nerf, because in some maps where people just cluster up it makes it really easy to get multi kills.

3rd Lieutenant.

Ah... like shaft.

No :). I quited for 2 years when I was in lower tiers, and what is considered Legend rank?
-
Thats pretty good... maybe its just a different playstyle. I use a mobile sniper playstyle.
-
I never said it was weak. Just that it isn't OP.

First of all, missing with Rail is really rare, and it isn't easy moving and keeping an eye on the target. Not really sure what Gausses' role is. Second of all, I was saying the normal shots do the same, if the supershots did critical damage, the turret would be op.
-
Um... the thing about rail is the charging just continues to shoot, which means that it only has to aim at the enemy when it's shot comes out. Thats the luxury of Railgun. Gauss has to keep its eye on the target the entire time, or else it won't shoot. Really, Railgun is so much easier to time shots and actually hit. The Only advantage Gauss has is the arcade shots, which does need a nerf. Gauss's critical damage does the same amount as it's normal shots. Thats why Hornet is so good with Railgun.

Railgun just seems so much better... the crits happen so much...... gets a lot of kills. Plus Gauss has a charging time that restarts when the enemy hides. Its really annoying. Gauss doesn't get those nasty good crits either.

Player @xMeda has been banned. Reason is because he's too sleepy.
-
Yes, but that doesn't mean its op. Rail is great for kill stealing, got 14-5 in a 6 minute battle. Rail is a bit harder, but I noticed its much better.
-
Yeah, I agree.

Striker seems to be a pretty well balanced turret, though it requires more skill to play well then some other turrets such as smoky, especially with the autocannon augment. Striker isn't really that bad, because the recharge after the laser shot is quick enough for you to sneak in another arcade shot, but it isn't op because of it's self damage and inaccuracy.

Ah thanks
