No need to save the screenshot, instead there is an option to copy the screenshot. With time you would be able to do it in less than 10 seconds.

It is a really straight forward process. Whenever a player writes a message I take a screenshot of the message, paste the image on the following link: https://translate.yandex.com/ocr and a highly accurate translation is produced. Then just write your reply or statement on google translate, copy and paste in the in-game chat. Hopefully you'll get the chance of utilising these steps if tanki returns the chat in the future.

In my opinion, removing the in-battle chat was unnecessary. I am aware of the current world events and that it is a sensitive topic that should not be discussed on this platform. However, instead of removing chat completely, words or phrases that would incite such discussion should have been censored instead. As other players have already pointed out, this was the only means of communication between players and friends during battles. Aside from this, I for one was hoping that Tanki Online would incorporate an auto-translating engine to make communicating with foreign players much more efficient. Prior to the chat removal, I was using the google translate engine and a text translation from a photo engine. Not only was it successful most of the time, but foreing players thought I was a local.
