Other games ain't an argument, Tanki is Tanki. By modifying the UI in settings, players could change the UI colors, according to their own style, this feature would be really cool, and normal Tanki players who script in JS will not have to change the Tanki code themselves. I don't know why you say it's unnecessary, when unnecessary are also skins, paints, augments, etc. and they're in the game.
