Compared to previous events, this one is actually pretty solid. F2P players can earn decent rewards without spending, and regular spenders only need 3,480 rubies to unlock everything, which is quite reasonable. The only downside is the 60k score requirement — that’s a bit much for just two weeks. It feels like a heavy grind unless you’re playing several hours a day or spending extra to skip.

The data these days is all fake

Can anyone explain to me how the completion rate skyrocketed this fast after the event just started? 30k crystals in under 20 minutes? Even my morning coffee takes longer to brew. If this was leftover progress from the last event, then adding it should’ve pushed Isindor to second place, not third. Moreover, the data hadn't been updated in the last few hours before the end. How could data from hours ago be directly used for the settlement? Shouldn't the final data be the one that's used? And let’s talk about the update schedule—or lack thereof. Sometimes the data refreshes in about an hour, and other times it takes hours. Feels like someone’s manually punching in the numbers instead of letting the system do the work. And if that’s the case… well, let’s just say there’s plenty of room for ‘creative adjustments.’ Who needs algorithms when you’ve got a human touch, right? ? So, are they manipulating the data at will? It's ridiculous.

Let’s be honest—the devs don’t care. To them, it’s all about the cha-ching moment. As long as the cash register sings, they can high-five their bosses and call it a day. Consequences? Player backlash? Mass exodus? Eh, let future devs deal with that mess. Just like the Tanki Fund fiasco—they got their money, so who cares if players jump ship? It’s the gaming equivalent of burning the village to keep warm. No wonder the servers are crawling with bots these days (and actual humans? Well, they’re busy fleeing).

From what I’ve heard from my friends and some of the Chinese player chat groups, those who spend a bit more—let's say, beyond just the monthly cards—seem to mostly flock to Team Twinserin, with a few scattered in Isindor. At least, I personally haven’t heard of anyone from that crowd in Team Shaftlaw. Well, nice randomization system. As the announcement says: "Players who purchase the special offer will be assigned randomly into 1 of 4 factions. A little bit of magic won’t hurt ?," it might just be a bit of playful humor, or... who knows?

You're absolutely right. In the end, Shaftlaw will get 500 points, Twinserin will score 2000 points, and Ricopuff and Isindor will duke it out for second place, each ending up with around 1250 points. That's my prediction, anyway, based on the so-called 'random team assignment' principle. Most players in Shaftlaw will have to pay the price for the laziness of a few, shelling out more cash to buy points. So, why should the hardworking players who log in daily and diligently complete tasks be held accountable for the slackers? In my opinion, this is the worst event of them all—even worse than the last Tanki Fund event (at least there, all players were on equal footing).

I have a sneaking suspicion they might be... creatively adjusting the data. Yesterday, I saw the numbers drop more than once, which is the opposite of what should happen (I know new players joining could affect things, but not to this extent - most players probably bought their tickets ages ago). I mean, come on, it's not like there's a huge player base here. How hard can it be to keep track of the stats? Why do the numbers keep bouncing around like a yo-yo? Makes you wonder if someone's playing fast and loose with the data. On a side note, I've written a script to grab the data and plot daily completion rates. I'll share the juicy graphs in this thread once the event wraps up. Should be... enlightening!

Honestly, this won't cost them much extra to run. New players or vets making alts? Data storage impact is basically a rounding error. Let's keep it real – this game's population ain't exactly booming. Total signups might hit 1M max, and active players (logged in last 2 months) are probably 10-20k tops. Even "hyped" events like Tanki Fund barely pulled just a couple thousand folks (though let's be honest, those rewards were bottom-tier garbage ? – low participation's kinda expected). Server strain? Pfft. Even if OG players farm alts for freebies, they're still only grinding one account at a time. New players? Bro, when did we last see a real wave of rookies? The login queue hasn't been longer than my weekend grocery list lmao. As for the "losses" from these rewards? Let's be real - they're a drop in the bucket. The freebies don't even cover the cheapest event entry fee (700 RUBY lol). That "invite 7 players + complete all tasks" grind? All that effort for one Legendary Key... which 90% gives outdated skins like PR-LC anyway ? Epic Keys? Common Keys? How many people actually get anything decent without dropping serious cash? We all know these just vomit out useless paints or generic augments. Let's cut through the fluff – this event's just another meh update. Devs are running a low-effort experiment here, barely lifting a finger while maybe scraping up a few new players to keep the lights on. If by some miracle it works? Sure, they might boost rewards later. If it magically becomes a hit? Cool, everyone wins... in theory. But let's be real – with these bargain-bin rewards, is anyone actually hyped? I've seen more excitement from lootbox pity timers ? The way I see it, this "update" might as well be a server maintenance notice for all the difference it makes ? TL;DR – Storage costs? Basically a coffee run | Server load? Devs napping at their desks ? | Event impact? Fireworks show for a cardboard fort ??️ But hey, at least they're throwing confetti instead of folding the whole circus tent. Gotta give 'em a participation trophy for trying, right? ?

Ah, the classic event. 'Catch 3 gold boxes in matchmaking battles' and 'Earn 30,000 crystals in matchmaking battles.' Really, a walk in the park, right? And with the matchmaking system being as stellar as last time, if your team’s already at a disadvantage, you’re pretty much on a one-way ticket to failure. You’ll be lucky to scrape together 450 points (good luck with that 'Catch 3 gold boxes' task, by the way). I think teams should be re-shuffled every day to ensure true fairness and randomness. So, in the worst-case scenario, you’ll have to spend 700 Rubies just to get 450 points, then another 2300 Rubies to buy 600 points. In total, that’s 3000 Rubies for 1000 points. I can't understand why developers are so obsessed with these events that pit players against each other, shifting all the tension onto the players. It’s honestly pointless. Instead of depending on player conflict to boost engagement, they should focus on making the game more balanced and fun. Or at the very least, they could narrow the reward gap between winners and losers—cut down the rewards for winners and give a bit more to the losers. Winning players won’t be thanking the developers for the massive rewards from this event (since they can’t guarantee victory every event), but the losing players will definitely think, 'Oh, just another trash event.' By the way, they included 'Destroy 30 tanks using Striker turret in matchmaking battles' alongside these tasks. What does that tell you? Haha, trash Striker.
  10. Oh, I totally bet they’re getting ready for another data rollback. So, after today’s update, I was absolutely stunned to find that these augments have magically appeared in the common key, and even in the rare rewards of the epic key. Let’s just take a look at the announcement again: “All these augments are available in the Legendary category of Epic Containers.” Yeah, I’m sure they’re just about to roll back the data. No big deal, right? Guys, does this whole situation feel a bit too familiar? Oh, of course, it's basically the "Battle Ship" event all over again. Once again, we’ve got a “totally accidental” technical issue that lets players get massive rewards. Seriously, does anyone else think these “mistakes” are starting to look a little too convenient? It’s almost as if they intentionally cause some tech glitches to lure players into spending, only to pull everything back later. Because, honestly, who on earth would willingly pay for such a ridiculously stupid event? I’ll admit, I fell for it last time. I took part, got my rewards, then—surprise, surprise—rollback! But of course, they forgot to take my energy back and convert it into coins, so I ended up lovely coins just sitting there, wasted on an event I never even wanted to participate in. Oh, and how about that Tanki Fund event? Notice how the final rewards from that event are already part of the new event? So, this is what they mean by “This augment was only available as a prize of the eSport Tanki Fund ‘Winter Major’ 2024”? Ha! Classic—such a joke. What a perfect way to keep the illusion going. You’ve gotta give them credit for consistency, though.

    Winter eSports TankiFund 2024

At first, I thought the same thing. A lot of players would buy the Advent Calendar and get Rubies, which would probably end up going into the Tanki Fund. Especially with the 250 Epic keys in the "Spectacular Appearance," players might want to buy the offers to grab the special Black Friday skins. But honestly, it’s not very realistic. Players need to log in for many days to collect Rubies, and by the time the Tanki Fund ends, they can only get up to 6000 Rubies, which takes quite a while. So, even if they do spend Rubies on the fund, it’ll probably only be in the last few days. The problem is that the fund grows slowly, and it’s unlikely to reach level 10 before it ends. A smart player would probably save their Rubies for future events with better rewards. Because, at the end of the day, even if they put Rubies into the fund, they’re mostly just getting more of the same augments they already own (like Tandem, which many regular paying players already have). So, it’s not really worth it. By the way, this Tanki Fund is pretty disappointing because most of the augments are ones regular paying players already have. Sure, there are some decent rewards after level 19, but with the Booster, we know the devs won’t let it reach level 19 or 20. That’s why the first 10 levels are full of useless rewards. Players who can afford this fund probably also have access to better events, so they’re not gonna waste their Rubies getting augments they already own (like me). The only thing that caught my eye was the level 19 augment, but it’s too good for the devs to give away to everyone. So, honestly, there’s nothing in this fund that would make regular paying players want to buy in. Honestly, this Tanki Fund is a failure. It didn’t give regular players enough to keep them interested or make the game more active, and it didn’t really give paying players enough incentive to spend either. It’s a lose-lose for both the players and the devs.

So you mean the wiki isn’t official and it’s player-made?

    Winter eSports TankiFund 2024

Truly impressive, haha! But let’s be real, the fund probably won’t even make it to Level 10. Tanki’s unrelenting greed has players collectively shrugging off their traps, and this so-called 'fund' event has turned into nothing more than a community-wide comedy special. They even had the audacity to throw in a new augment at Level 29 and proudly label it as an event-exclusive on the wiki. Can’t wait to watch them shamefully bring it back for a 'future surprise comeback' and sell it again—honestly, who wouldn't laugh at that? Haha, classic Tanki! Regardless of how bad the fund is, it’s all Tanki’s fault. Still wishing the best of luck to the teams in the competition!
