I think stepping down before the fade-out is a great decision but not easy to make when you've been in the staff for so long. You already made a name for yourself big time, well deserved; and very few can match what you did for the community. A lot of people know you, perhaps more people than you might realise. I think a lot of tankers started and played their final game while you were there. I think you witnessed a lot of new players come, become seasoned and leave when they get older; more than you know.. but they know you. It's pretty safe to say that those people, one way or another have talked to you, asked for advice or read about you at some point in their career here. But many are long gone now. 10+ years is a long long time. When they reflect on their time in the game, I am pretty sure your name will come up. That's what 10 years in the staff is like, I guess. Dedication only few can achieve. I remember stepping down from a staff role too, but I did it really bad. They removed my Consultant and Facebook mod function because I got too inactive. Then regained some momentum and joined again but resigned myself a few months after. I still regret that I have not left the position, in the same way you did now. I let it slip and did not took responsibility. That was the biggest mistake I did in Tanki. It is like you said, tiresome after a while. Logging in felt like a duty more so than a good time.. it wasn't like that in the beginning ofcourse; otherwise I would not have signed up. It was good work, honest work. And it felt really rewarding when helping people out. The flip side was a lot of repetitive answering, sitting idle in the lobby chat and spending a lot of time on given tasks and duties; making hourse.. while sometimes deep down you just wanted to sit and play the game after a long day at school. It takes so much dedication; I respect the staff mainly because they sacrifice a lot of their time to help out players... in a game; all in their free time. That alone is so wholesome, let alone doing it for 10 years. The fact you kept it together all that time, in such a demanding position shows that you really loved doing it. And now it's time to retire, well deserved and good for you. The medal is more than deserved. Thank you for your service. And good to see you'll stick around!

I was working on my assignment for school, a research document of the effects of genetic background of cows on life expectancy and total milk yield. It was about 72 pages long.. was.. I was typing some stuff and suddenly my mouse pressed the back button continuously and I couldn't make it stop. And then the arrow moved straight to the upper right corner and microsoft word was shut down; nothing was saved. I was absolutely furious so I destroyed my G502 proteus. I cut the cable, rammed it with scissors and ripped up the internals with my bare hands. Do not get this thing, the software corrupts and the laser recieves false feedback. And I always found the ergonomic aspects of this thing stupid, those side buttons are always presses accidentally. My progress in the cloud is lost but later found a backup file from as early as 9th of January so not everything is gone. I hereby telling you that I quit this game for a few months. The stupid star week caused me to fall back on schedule for school and now I need to do 3 times the amount of work. I don't like Lavalamp and I don't like lightning storm Paint. Those two were my goal for the season but they are too common to justify the effort in getting them. Animates paints are a gimmick and their worth is inflated by the choices of the developers. I also quit the forums for I don't know how long. Don't let this game mess up your school schedule. I noticed that I became more angry and annoyed by even the slightest things. I didn't realised that this game was the real cause, it was pretty subtile. Ohh boy but when I destroyed this mouse it was all clear as can be. See you around.

Thanks, that's great to hear.

I see this aswell, the defence is always much stronger and they stay put more when there are no overdrives and supplies which causes these medium hulls to be insanely fast I guess. Never understood why friendly fire got added here, the community generally is too toxic for a strategic element. Well apparantly this player likes to counter the supplies of the enemy with supplies lol

Ahh you got me there

The splash damage is massive I agree, not so handy with a light hull. You should've seen this guy; turret pointing straight ahead, driving slowly towards the edge, plop down and tipped over with a star above his head. It is, the straighter the turret, the dumber the user; oh Magnums.. Lol if the ghosting is that bad, people shouldn't be playing this game. Respect

Please can you update your alteration descriptions in game that shows the wiki stats? Don't steer newbies into the wrong alteration, it should be simple to fix and players wouldn't have to search around in the wiki; I think the majority of casual players in this game don't even know that the wiki excists. Stop lying please.. stop lying.
-
They did lie, it's holding back information that they obviously want you to discover after you bought the alteration. Some of them are indeed nice and balanced; just like an alteration should be. But some of them are useless aswell. The prices are all over the place. If alterations would really result in around the same DPS / game balance - there would be no price difference at all. We're seeing Hammers with the duplet alt because it's overpowered. That's not an alteration, that's an upgrade. It is infact a temporary upgrade that they will nerf whenever they feel like enough people completed the 'duplet dream' or whatever that may be.

This guy sucks and his equipment sucks. It's unbelievable that there are Generallisimo's who genuinly don't know how to turn their turret or use overdrive. The guy was trying but it was such a miserable experience. He kept falling off cliffs without shooting to balance out.. You have this stupid knockback weapon so you better use it the way it's supposed to. Why these players get put in Legend battles is beyond me, actually that counts for every Generallisimo but oh.
-
I don't get why players make pro-battles with supplies and overdrive enabled when they have the option to disable them. In matchmaking we don't have a choice as supplies are used to counter the supplies of the enemy; gaining absolutely no edge but okay. But this is a pro-battle..

You got Firebirds all over the place there, even worse
