It's the maps that make difference aswell. Thunder fits in longer maps with more obstacles; because of the splash damage. Smoky fits in short to medium maps with plenty of open ground; since it needs direct contact. If you drug with Smoky in a cluttered space with obstacles, the non-drugged Thunder can still win with peek-a-boo tactics. Yeah unless you bump right into them. :P
