The problem was that on the Tanki Fund event website, it does not mention this detail, it just says that booster becomes available after you purchase the bundle, not the day after. I now see that they included that detail on the announcement page. They really need to be more consistent with where they put this information.

Definitely agree, while you don't have to spend money to play, you have to spend money to do well, which is not great for TO. I also like what you mention about buyers suffering too, because the prices are way too high. Even with 5000 rubies from the Daily Pass, you can't get past checkpoint 3 in the latest minigame! However, that doesn't mean Tanki Classic will fail, but it does mean that if Tanki carries over its trajectory in TO to TC, TC will sadly die as well. I don't want to see either fail, but I am more optimistic about Tanki Classic than the regular game. However, Maf's point about the screenshot is that it isn't bad for a company to need money to survive or do well. This is definitely a valid point. However, it is bad for F2P players if they can't even enjoy the game without spending money. Those can be two separate things. Money is important for businesses, the issue is how they try to get it. I think we're talking past each other at this point and getting nowhere. You both are making valid points.

Saying someone's statement is an opinion doesn't mean it isn't true. I have no idea how Classic will turn out, but as Maf said, they need money to make it work. However, I do believe the project will still be free to play, even if it may become pay to win. There are so many unknowns with TC, but if I understand correctly, Maf's point is that while we don't know how P2W it will be, but it will be easier for it to be free to play with this early boost in funding. They have to make money, but regardless if they do it well, this funding is a good sign.
