Thank the Tanki gods I decided to start Micro-upgrading damage on my M3 Thunder yesterday...

As I stated earlier in this topic (and was ignored), I would like to call forward some much older names to the discussion. Antichrist AwardRus Error-404 MadDog21 Back when Tanki was small enough that you would actually run into the same people everyday(without a friends list), these were clearly the most dominant players and I believe all held a rank in the top 10-15(back when the rating system worked).

As if m2 firebird and m2 viking wasn't already overpowered for Brigadier battles, we now get to watch m3 Hunter and m3 Firebird. God help us all.

To me, Old Tankionline is something that I treasure deeply. Dictator m3 is king. From that point, pick your turret. Hint : It's either Isida m3 or Railgun m3. Paint? Tundra, with the occasional Digital. And you know, there was something beautiful there. Maps such as Brest and Tribute were king. Long enough sight lines for the Dictator Railguns to be effective, but enough hiding places for the Dictator Isidas to advance. If you wanted your team to win, you had better have the better Railguns and Isidas --- You needed a combination to win. Of course, within a few months of this, the first new batch was released to make the game a bit more interesting. Thunder, Viking, Hornet. In fact, I actually started the first Viking discussion thread on the main forum. And while I treasure these new turrets and tanks very much, they removed some of the innocence from the game. No longer were all people using the same tank. There were now many more options for weapons. Maps such as Tribute and Brest slowly, but surely, became irrelevant. Newer maps such as Silence and Highland took prominence. And what I might miss most of all was the lack of diversity in the group of players who participated in the games. I probably played matches with or against AwardRus dozens of times. I remember when Antichrist became the first person to utilize M3 Mammoth and M3 Thunder. I remember Error-404 beginning the classic Viking Isida combination. Even without a friends system, I was able to almost become acquaintances with people who spoke entirely different languages than my own, just because we played against each other so often. Now, I am not here to reminisce on the past and to complain about the present, but there is a lot I would give to have one day with the Tier 1 and Tier 1.5 tanks and turrets back. One last nostalgic game at Brest. One last time to truly appreciate the way it was, because once it was lost, it was gone forever.

For the love of God vote for Twins. Isida is junk now. Railgun can never carry a team. Ricochet cannot carry a team. You know which turret will enable you to become a master, one who can take over battles and win? Twins. Or Thunder or Firebird. Long story short I have no clue what the hell you all are voting for. Do any of you even play this game?

I can't really remember 2010 and 2011 very well, but I would include on a Legends list(Not English speaking necessarily) AwardRus AntiChrist Error-404 I feel like the majority of the other names that have been suggested aren't as far back as some of these are...and I think these people deserve recognition for what they achieved long before some of you joined the game.

Were rewards multiplied by ten after rebalance? If so, my highest would be 1790.

I had an m2 Shaft before rebalance. That was an incredible weapon, but it wasn't even OP then. Ricochets and Freezes on fasting moving hornets dominated you. Is it possible that if you are playing low rank games, the average tank speed is not fast enough to run from Shaft? In higher rank games, Hornets and Wasps can run if they spot the Shaft soon enough. TL;DR: Shaft has already been nerfed, as you rank up you will learn how to deal with Shafts and they will become more ineffective.

From my personal experience as a Major, M2 Mammoth and M2 Hunter also seem very effective and possibly better than the Dictator. However, the Viking does seem to be the king of the m2.
-
Perhaps my opponents have weak armor, but my m2 Isida is capable of almost completely healing me and destroying the enemy if I wait until I am at 1/3 health. Either way, one day another Isida and I just drove by each other because we knew the effort was pointless.

It will cost me around 2500 crystals to get the 25,000 XP to rank up.

Thank you all for your help. I have purchased an m2 Hunter, m2 Isida, m2 Freeze, and Rustle, with over 30,000 left over. I am able to purchase enough experience to get to the next rank and obtain an m2 Viking. Is the m2 Viking noticeably better than the m2 Hunter? Does it make sense for me to get a different hull or a different weapon? If I use Isida, should I get Python for very small maps, or should Rustle cover me? Sorry for all the questions. Thank you all for your help.

Hello! I have not played this game in a very long time. My rank is Major and today I logged on to see I had over 60,000 crystals. What items or guns should I get and use? I am thinking of an m2 Dictator and an M2 Isida for nostalgia's sake, but I am not sure. Also, how about an M2 Hunter and an M2 Thunder or M2 Freeze? Also, which guns are used the most? I need to know which paint to get.

As a user of m2 shaft, I have no idea what you all are talking about...I would call it a bug.
