Hello tanki-devs, I have an idea of a new turret, so I guess this is the right place to put it down so you could consider it hopefully some day, as I'm sure you're damn busy as usual. So my idea is a totally new type of a turret, which I would call a HACKER. As the name suggests, it would be used not to fire anything, but to "hack" enemy tanks! I will explain in a bit details as I imagine it. So a Hacker-turret mounted tank approaches to an enemy tank at some distance and starts to hack it. The hacking will take some time, and the hacker-tank can't move during that period of hacking time. The hack of the enemy tank will be successful if the enemy tank will remain in that same hacking-radius from the hacker-tank, but will not notice anything suspicious, except spotting the hacker-tank visually and suppose that it's being hacked. So when the "hack" of the enemy tank succeeds, the tanker of the hacker-tank will gain control of the hacked enemy tank. I mean in real sense that it will see the hacked enemy tank as its own and will be able to control it fully, even to auto-destruct it. Of course this hack will be auto-terminated after some time, or if the original hacker-tank with the hacker-turret will be destroyed anyhow. But while a hacker is controlling an enemy tank, it will turn into a tank of its own team. That being said, the hacked tank will change the sides, so it will be able to shoot and kill any enemy tank, or behave totally like a tank from the other team. The basic idea can be developed in many variations, for example it may be possible to un-hack a hacked tank by another hacker-turret mounted tank much faster than to hack an enemy tank, or in greater distance. Of course the hacking/unhacking and controlling times of a hacked tank can be improved by turret upgrades.
