For me, smokey m3 was also much better then thunder m0. I had the smokey m3 for a pretty long time, when i got the thunder m0. Thunder m0 is powerful, but it turns so slow. Now I got used to turning turret independently from my tank and with thunder m0 this was virtually impossible in many battles because of its speed - I was too vulnerable in infights. So I returned to smokey m3 for another few weeks, until I could afford the thunder m1, which great. But of course, you've got to buy m0 before m1 :lol: Now, I also like the advantage of doing splash damage, but with m0 this effect does not balance your disadvantage in the close combats.

Respawn time should not be shorter. Imagine a CTF battle fighting against an opponent which is outnumbering your team. The respawn times of your opponent could be your only chance to get a flag. Being on the other side, I accept my respawn times as a penalty for having my tank destroyed - It's ok and should not be shorter.

I also noticed that battles with auto-balance activated, sometimes get really unbalanced. Here is a recent example and yes, this time the auto-balance icon is there: Blue side started with 2 players when red had 4 players. While blue had a maximum of 4 players and soon decreased to 3 for some time until I left, red went up to 6. So there are scenarios when balancing does not work well. Perhaps because of players trying to join a battle and leaving before their tanks becomes visible. Or because of multiple players entering almost simultaneously. I don't now the reason, but it happens.

Keys q and e also work. These might be a little faster for the fingers than also pressing the fn key. In some maps, I change camera position almost every second, so fast access is important :)

I voted for "A fair, balanced, and challenging game regardless of the outcome". The perfect battle for me also includes a good portion of team spirit. Team speak, where everybody can participate, is great - I really wish more players had this in mind and sometimes switched the language to be understood by non native speakers. Battles with strategy are great. If it's a fair battle, I have no problems with leaving without crystals, but of course, I don't need power dopers or a few high ranks entering 10 minutes before finish after a 2 hours fight.

[X] It's acceptable No, I'm not absolutely satisfied with the payment system. It is acceptable for me. I will not use PayPal. I trust more in SMS buy, which seems to work for now, after several problems in the past. However, for the same money, you will get less crystals via SMS than by PayPal. So for me, it's option five which is not on the list.

Even though slow, I liked the hall of fame and I like to have something similar back. The idea with pages sound cool. At least, a statistics page should be possible with very few effort.

I also sometimes use the google translator. Unfortunately, I cannot copy text from in-battle chat. So it's impossible to translate messages from others players while in battle. You might argue that it's still possible to copy the text per hand. However, this is not possible for languages using different letters and frankly, in battles - copying per hand takes much to much times. Sometimes, i feel that a little more international spirit e.g. by using languages like english might help players to better understand each other. I think, more players understand and speak english than we see in chat. By the way, english is not my mother tongue and yes, i'll do mistakes - so what?

I don't like the idea very much. First, you should make a decision about your target with every single shoot. If you destroy the tank of a friend, then because you targeted at him. Just watch what you are doing with your virtual weapons :D Second, it can become annoying for your team in CTF battles, if your friend in the opponent team gets the flag and you let him/her get away without even trying the get the flag back. Your team mates might want another button to kick you, at least if the majority of votes in your team agrees ;) (By the way, this second button is something you find in games like Urban Terror.)

I observed some really strange jumps in my rating: + Before two days, i left with a rating of about 30500. When i logged in yesterday, my rating was about at 29800. + When i logged of yesterday, my rating was about 29500. Today when i looked at my rating after a first battle where i got about 400 point, 12 crystals and kill ratio about 2.5, my rating dropped to 32500. Can anyone explain these high jumps? I mean, fluctuations by a few hundred points, when not playing 16 hours is just the result of other players playing. 3000 is pretty hard to explain that way or what do you think?

Like MadDog, I'm using Safari for playing Tanki on a Mac. While usually surfing with FireFox, the FPS rate with FireFox and Opera was just to low in certain maps. With Google Chrome - which I tried about 3 month ago - the FPS rate was good, but for whatever reason, I could not pick up flags and power kits sometimes.

Strange vote: What does the outcome of this vote mean to the actual number of American players? Perhaps there should be a vote asking for a players home country offering options like: Russian, American, Arab, Canadian, German, France, Italian, etc. For the internal statistics of TankiOnliny, I can imagine that they already have a pretty good picture of the distribution by country based on the players' IP addresses. If so, perhaps they like to publish these statistics - it would be interesting.

Fire rate of the shaft start with 4.3 shots per minute for upgrade level m0 and goes up to 5.7 shots per minute with upgrade m3. At least this is, what i see when reading the shaft description in the garage. So following a calculation, there should be at about 10.5 seconds between two shots of a tank with a shafts m3 and even 14 seconds between two shots of a shaft m0. However, i already encountered several tanks fighting with shaft with only about 5 or 6 seconds between two shots of their shaft. Has anyone experienced something similar? What is the explanation? Is this a cheat?
