Non of the googled tanks will make it into the competition. You can take my word for it. A clear paper with a nick in the picture or nothing. That's good Bruce :) Get in there and moderate that thread nice and hard.

Well the first contestant was an obvious fake as usual :D I wonder how many googled tank cakes we are gonna se this time.

A shaft in the other teams base is indeed often a nice challenge. Three shafts could render it pretty impossible without teamwork or a good deal of luck(depending on the map of course). Red side on Scope is swarming with them sometimes haha.

R.I.P Sandal II. We had a great run :) And welcome Sandal(summer theme)!

This is something I've thought a lot about. In countless dueling situations when I, as a railer, am moving around trying not to get hit during the cooldown of the gun, my opponent fail to kill me even when he has several chanses. Why? Because he is not following me with his gun and moves around corners like some WW2 tank destroyer that has its gun fixed to the hull. Why on earth, when you know someone is waving an M3 railgun at you on the other side of that corner, do you take the time to move out the lenght of your tank before turning the whole thing to start shooting? By that time I have already fired and started moving away to the next corner. If we're in the open and I'm driving hornet it's sometimes pretty easy to stay behind the opponent as he/she tries to turn the way I'm driving, because it hasn't occured to the other that you get to shoot earlier if you turn both hull and gun. Okay, I understand that newbies has some playing to do to get the finesses of the game, but I see this behaviour in warrant officers and lieutenants. I'm especially baffeled at other railgun players doing this, whose survival sometimes depend upon being able to dart out from behind a wall and shoot really quickly at that annoyingly good smokey, who screws upp your aim and leave you frustrated beyond comparison in a burning hull. Anyway, how is it that some people don't use Z and X when they could play so much better if they did? It's not like its a lot of keys to keep track of. I constantly move my gun around, keeping the aim at my target(or where I think he is) at all times. Also, when running with a flag back to headquarters, it can be good to turn the turret around to check what the angry mob chasing you is up to(and to put a well placed slug in that hornet/freeze who seems to always appear from nowhere and deny you your right to wave his flag) without having to stop. I believe you should treat your hull and gun as a team, working together but at the same time doing their own thing. And if you know the map good enough you can focus on shooting enemies who is not in front of you while speeding around.

I like the idea with the english(and also german I guess) dedicated server(s). Not where there is any special rule about language but where you know most people come to play and speak with others who don't know any russain :)

But "joostcool" is not a mod so you shouldn't care what he says on the matter 8)

I agree with blake here. Anyone who teams up in a DM with a low amount of players is limiting themselves and wont get the points that they could. If you are any good with your weapon and the terrain is not very open, you will spend more time destroying tanks than a teamed up player. A good railer with somewhat cover will win against those thunders, even if he dies a lot. Because he has three targets to pick off and they have to share one target between themselves :D

1. People don't listen to beggars. 2. The gifts are random. I've got crystals both two and three days in a row. 3. If you get 195 I wouldn't call your rank very low. 4. Buy it if you are in such a rush. 5...OR you know.. play more and better so you earn the crystals?

Way to raise a thread from the dead  You're a necromancer now!

The picture only shows that 800 arabic people likes the Tanki facebook page. Not exactly grounds for making an arabic version. If people can't handle a game being in another language than their own, then why start playing it at all? And if they have already managed to play it so far, then there is no need to make such a big fuss about it. It's a good thing to learn new languages :) Its especially useful to get better at English, since it is the closest thing we have to a world language.

Dude, relax. Your teacher is wrong. How are you supposed to discuss history without using Hitlers name? Germany can't close their eyes and pretend the nazi rule never was. To learn from that periods horrible mistakes we need to be able to write and talk about it. Doing the Hitler salute and chant his name in the streets is of course an offense, but that is a whole other thing. Edit: Haha ow there were others thinking the same

Can i get the load down on gun requirements to kill hornet hulls in one shot?
nissus replied to Vlad-The-Impaler in Archive
Not even thunder M3 can destroy a full health hornet M0 in one shot. Use railgun M3 or shaft if you want to one-shot those speedy little annoyances  -
Caninus and Hatebeak come to my mind as the wierdest I've heard (I don't think any music is outrageous anymore), and they are pretty similar in their choice of vocalist. In Caninus the singers are two pitbull terriers named Basil and Budgie  ..and in Hatebeak, you maybe guessed it, a freakin parrot :P (no real words though, just shrieking) Feel free to look it up on Youtube, but you might not want to have loud volume on if you have parents that are sensetive to what you listen to. This music is pretty rough. Tip: "Caninus - Human Rawhide" or "Hatebeak - Hellbent For Feathers" if you are curious.

It would of course depend on the other characteristics of the clan, such as the location of other members. I'd prefer teaming up with other europeans since the time difference to America could be problematic. Especially if people have long work hours and families.

No one is given any equipment. You just unlocked the possibility to buy it when you ranked up.

When I get bored I look through the games for power levelers, since they are easy to spot sometimes. I stumbled in on one earlier tonight. Three wasps: one second lieutenant and two noob accounts(on Island map with 1 kill limit). I could tell there was just one guy steering them, because only one of the three tanks would move at a time  Even if I had had any video-capturing software, he wasn't doing any killing as long as I was annoying him with my presence. And I did my best to mess up his game, to the point that he gave up and left  (I was the only one getting any xp since my viking/thunder took his higer ranked wasp out over and over, and I started ramming his tank on my own team over the edge). So if you can't prove that someone is power leveling but it still is obvious, just annoy the crap out of him

Bravo. You see this the wrong way. You see the cost for the upgrades in USD. What you really pay with is TIME. Playing for long times give SKILL. Time + skill = Chrystals. You are supposed to play(invest time) and save up your earnings to get the upgrades you wish to have. It gives you something to strive for. It's not supposed to be that easy to get the best things. Well, if you don't pay for chrystals.. but that way you help the developers with some funding at the same time, and you should get something in return for that :)

What DaSpammer is saying is absolutely true. How? 801 kills, meaning 801 deaths. Adding up all of the opponents scores, they don't add up to 801. Simple. And where is the crystal count that you get for winning? That is not a valid point though, since people jump in and out of battles all the time. How often do you see only the same seven people during a whole match? But this is not that important anyway. The screenshot was not taken after the game as the rules say.

Yeah, you accidently kill yourself sometimes when the battle is a little too close than you'd prefer, but not so much that it affects D/L if you're any good with your thunder. The awesome killstreaks you get sometimes in a good spot is well worth it. It feels good to see that you are responsible for the last six or so kills in the list 8) Damn I love my thunder! You can also run up and kill yourself on purpose against your opponents tank (kamikaze style), when you just know your're not gonna survive for long anyway. Damaging your enemy and not giving him the satisfaction of killing you at the same time  Try it out I say. Its really fun!

maybe... he was a lower rank than you? edit: right.. rating :)

Taking a pic from google and adding your name in MS paint took you two hours?

I know! That is REALLY silly! But then that's the whole point with it ;) Since there is no proving or disproving of any religion it must seen as being equal to, and given the same respect as, any other belief. No matter how silly it looks 8) I know, but that is a little to silly, dont you think??? And a spageti monster??? equal to christianity?? Absolutly rediculous! And spageti????? Wow.......... Dude! wake up! Yes it's very silly. It's supposed to be :D I'm pretty sure noone actually believes it. But I defend it's right to exist to prove a point. If I lived in a place where peolpe looked strange at me just for not having a religion, I would also swear myself to a flying spaghetti monster just for the principle.
