Since rail m3 can one shot wasp any level unless wasp gets lucky, you either have to grab some rail protection like picasso or tundra, or trick the railgun into shooting early and use the 7-8 or so seconds to kill him (hopefully). The best victims for isida are those dps weapons with the exception of a freeze that has space to back off.

Hornet and wasp is balanced because hornet is more affordable and unlocks at a earlier rank full stop. The 16 hp extra and a slightly easier ease of use are too minor compared to the speed disadvantage ( 1.7 speed, which makes a mammoth a viking )

Shaft and rail both can one shot wasps, except its much easier for the rail to shoot.

They are not equal stat wise. Main advantage of hornet= affordability. If you want stability and hp look for hunter dict or viking, hornet hp does not compensate for speed. In this game, even 0.5 speed makes a noticably big difference, not to mention 1.7. While pre-rebalance 16 ho was a big deal, now with all the hulls almost doubling and increased dps of guns 16 hp just doesnt cut it. AT LEAST 25, but then hornet should be as hard to get as wasp.

If you think you are ok with hornet's stability , then wasp will be stable for you. If you think hornet is unstable and easy to flip, then so is wasp (for you). If you can live with wasp's looks, higher price and rank requirement, then wasp >hornet. If you want stability and hp choose another hull, because hornet isnt a stable and tough tank. The 16hp for 1.7 speed trade off isnt worth it. 1.7 is a HUGE improvement, but 16 hp is not. But if you cant wait so long for wasp then hornet, but in reality its 16 hp will not be a big difference, probably just lets you win a 1 vs 1 with someone using wasp and the same turret, and gives you a bit more chance to survive a railgun shot. For them to be on the same level hornet will need more hp and as difficult to get as wasp which wont happen because tanki wants some hulls to be better than others (viking and dict) But for the meantime they should really swap the tanks around.

153 speeds? And if you are refering to slower tanks I just have to say that going extreme on the speed area is a totally different experience than say bullying the crap out of people using drugs on slower hulls.

Most people arent complaining about performance at all! Even if you think hornet's speed trade off isnt worth the little bit of extra hp its fine because hornet unlocks earlier than wasp and is cheaper. Most people are actually complaining that hornet should be the fast one instead of wasp due to its past legacy and its more futuristic look and design compared to the un-aerodynamic and boxy wasp that was once the starting tank. Hornet flips as well if getting hit on the sides while turning sharply at high speeds. Im 90% sure they weigh the same. Main difference is that wasp is tall and narrow so it has high center of gravity so it can flip A BIT easier, hornet's stability mainly comes from its slower speed and to a lesser extent its shorter and wider hull, doesnt mean its stable at all, just a bit more than wasp. If theres anything that should be changed, its the stat-swap of hornet and wasp. If hornet was to be buffed then so should its rank requirement and price ( or make wasp less costly and ealier to get)

If your question was "why is speed important" then 1. More dynamic and exciting gameplay 2. Good for maps that have few players and with no/ few chokepoints. So no silence/farm/island. Sandbox is ny fav. Even if you drug, it doesnt mean that you go mammoth or dictator. Wasp drugging is good for no chokepoints map that will let you nitro away with the flag without being slaughtered by campers.

Are you kidding me!? It takes about 3-4 secs to go from standstill to full nitro!! I have been killed many times just because I cant reverse fast enough from a short ranged weapon surprise attack, ducking into cover, or reversing after i got the flag (sometimes reversing is the only option)

1. Isida can only attack one person at a time and only has 5secs x 50 attacking dps = 250 dps, gang him. 2. Isida has 15 starting attack range which can stretch to 20 (or less) once you linked the enemy turret and your turret in 15m. Stay away from him. As freeze , isida will often have the speed to get into range before you can slow him down enough, get out of 20 m range (including your range), then slide between 15 and 20 (or less, maybe its 18 now) m and stay there 3. Isida tends to be mounted on fast but fragile hulls, using life steal to stay alive, one shot him using rail or shaft. 4. When isida drugs save your time and leave the battle 5. ??? 6. Profit

Hornet anyone? They made it a slow POS now it feels like a mammoth even on drugs. So now i have to use wasp so i dont sleep while playing just because all the other tanks are slow mammoths. So much logic in having a old boxy obsolete looking tier one tank that was supposed to be the recruits tank be faster than the sleek and futuristic looking hornet. Also its tall and narrow so high centre of gravity=easy to flip. Devs really need to swap the stats on these 2 tanks. This is my no.1 reason i hate rebalance since hornet with nitro was the main reason why i play tanki anyways. TBQH the increased prices dont affect me in any way because by refunding all the slow viking crap and tier 1 crap i was able to afford what i wanted anyways.

No its not against the law because it only affects new buyers, if you already bought it you keep it, if you want more then it your choice whether you still want to buy. Im sure they did not storm into your house taking your purchases away and replacing them with inferior versions.

If nitro doubles speed I wont buy any fast tanks ill just buy lots of nitro. I think is funny that while a pre rebalance hornet with DA has mamy hp, a pre rebalance mammy will never reach hornet's speed even with nitro
