when you have game open: Right click anywhere in the game Settings Third Tab (looks like a folder) drag the slider all the way to the right click Close It will load most of the stuff to memory, and reload only when needed.

Ben i would recommend playing maps where level is limited to Sergeant, As there is an option to buy Fear Machine (railgun) on the Staff Sergeant level. The rest of the weapons can't kill you with one shot. btw: http://forum.tankionline.com/posts/list/742.page
