New shaft M0 is deadly in the right hands. No power up. No shields. No healers. Now do you think shaft sucks? ;-)

I only used Shaft M0, but here's why I like new shaft better: 1) Peripheral vision. Being able to see everything outside your scope is huge tactical improvement because now you can see the strategy of the other team and plan where to point your gun next, and not be blindsided by tanks sneaking up on you. 2) No overheating. Yes, gun turns slow when fully charged, but you are guaranteed 1 shot kill of any player except for high ranked mammoth. For long distance sniping, this is good tradeoff. Old shaft you would wait too long, overheat, and miss your shot. Now you have 2nd chance to destroy the tank behind the one you missed. These two things improved my D/L ratio. Averaged about 60/6 in Old Silence and new Highway maps yesterday. A good shaft player with mammoth armor will force 3-4 tanks on the other team to fight 1 of you, leaving the rest of your team free to go take the flag. :-) So play with new shaft a little more. I think you will like!
