i joined from the cc, some others joined before me, and looking at the list of members it looks like i joined a long time ago (around about the 6500 member stage), tanki is now 2.5k bigger :)

When I first saw this update I thought it was very bad, but I decided to play with isida to see what it was like. My conclusion - THIS UPDATE IS AMAZING FOR GOOD ISIDA'S I joined an iran later then half way through, and easily got 1st place, (6 kills, 615 points) (2nd had about 560 points (300 when I joined)) (Also I only drugged once to get the flag (DA + Nitro) First of all, I seemed to get about 15 points for a full heal, this means I was getting way more points then those who are killing (apart from shafts) Second, in a full iran you will get 100 points for a flag, no matter who you play against, that is so good for points, and really bad for low ranks who will really struggle to get flags I got 2 flags quite easily with my m3 hornet, and could have probs got 1 more if I had tried for more. Normally I play iran with m2 freeze, but with this new update I will probs use isida 80% of the time. The reason for this is with m3 it is easy to do full heals, and with hornet I can get flags If you have m0-2 this update might be bad, but for good m3 isida's this is a good update (I also have m3 rail, but why would I ever use that now, seeing as I would get 40%-70% of the points I get with isida) Thank you Tanki for this nice update

about 5 mins ago at 12:03-05 server 2 just died any ideas why this is the case i was in the middle of a game and didnt think to take a screen shot, cause the game died straight without any warning so just a little annoyed

overall I think you have done a good job, well down, but on isida you have gone badly wrong, and the hornet isnt great I have used isida for over half my career, and my best map is tribute, a good isida in tribute is easily going to be top of the team if played from the start (or even if they join 1/4 way through), also an m3 isida is a good attacking weapon, but you need to know when to retreat and when to go forward and kill them. also in a map with some cover, isida is very gd at getting the flag, with drugs, 48 damage and 24 heal, you dont die easily then hornet (i have used it since WO4/5 and am now brigadier), you dont need to use armour all the time, if you go for the flag it is a must but just in game an armour isnt needed. also yes hornet is fast, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt use nitro. nitro just makes hornet more OP'ed on speed, with a nitro you can basically escape rico shots, and get in cover before rail has a chance to aim/or reload if you have DA)

congrats tanki, i remember that when i started playing there werent even 500,000 players, in fact i think i was one of the first 200,000 player very well done to tanki on getting so far

i have just read this thread, and there is a point no one seems to make. some maps seem more likely to have druggers then others, i almost only play tributes (90%) there are full druggers in 1-100 games, and single drugging, unless going for the flag when its triple, in half the games. also most of them never get above 800 fund which isnt a huge amount to drug for (seeing as you get 1/4 of that) i play 6+ hours a week (yer not that much) and seem to be gaining drugs, also a skilled play in the right map doesnt need to full drug, by only using dp i can keep my ratio pretty similar if the other team are using 2/3 drugs. very few of my games are ruined by drugging, and in tribute 1 guy full drugging doesnt change much (unless m3 freeze m3 viking and health ups) recently i played a few silences, about 50% of them fell into a pointless drugging match (cause in silence one guy full drugging can change the game) if you dont want druggers to ruin the game dont play island of silence or the other maps that lead themselves to drugging

Im not saying that i dont believe you (esp cause high ranks dont normally hack) Im just really annoyed that (as far as i can see) the community hasnt been told about this, of course if it was done on the test server you dont have to tell us, but if it is done on the main server please tell us, so we know that the "cheater" is actually a tester, and then we could even give feedback, if we come across a tester, instead of getting really annoyed

i was playing a tribute recently and i came across i type of hacker i've never seen before (and hope to never see again) his name was Mustang (he came 4th on red side http://oi55.tinypic.com/mwryw9.jpg) i have got any pics cause it was so hard to try and show him cheating in a pic, and i dont have video recording software he was a shaft, who could fire at the same time as moving, so he was playing like a railgun, but with the reload and damage of a shaft, some how he aimed his turret and moved at the same time, he had the same variable reload as shaft has, in fact the only difference was he was moving (twice he captured the flag) i know the evidence i have supplied probably isnt good enough, but can the tech people at tanki please fix this so as it never happens again, it is so annoying to play against, in fact i think he was the player that turned the tide of the game (we were winning until he started cheating)

i use m2 thunder and m2 hornet and must say that i do better then m3 rails do in the same game, railgun is good, esp if all the enemy tanks can be taken down in 2 shots, but as soon as it takes 3 shots or more railgun becomes less useful. in tribute (my fav map), a great railgun is better then a bad thunder but a normal railgun is worse then a bad thunder
